Berg sent a friendly, competent, professional technician the next business day. In less than one hour he recharged the freon, cleaned and serviced the unit, and inspected the entire system. Cost was reasonable ($183.00), and unit has functioned perfectly since the service call. Highly recommended.

I called them in the morning and in the afternoon they where , the water pump on my cooler seized, they just charged me for the part, and I call to tell them that I though it was a mistake, and they told me that it was part of the service that I have had less than a month ago. so I was very pleased. We were told we needed a new compressor for $2000-$3000 by other AC company. Called Berg's for second opinion. Great service and quick response. Diagnosed problem and found it wasn't the compressor. Fixed AC for under $500.

They did an excellent job, as far as the level of service is concerned i had actually measure rooms just to know the correct size unit for the house and they went an extra mile to do all that.

Great service, very professional, I called them on Tuesday and they came on Wednesday, they did not try to sell me things that I don't need, I will call them every year for service my cooler. I had called another company, and they told me that the basic fee was 345.00 and they charge 90.00. Very affordable, fast and good service.

I am very happy with them. They are the people that when this house was being built, installed the heating and air conditioning system. I knew nothing about them then but since then for the last four or five years I entered into a contract with them for yearly maintenance agreement. They are very good because they always give you the option of when you want them to come here and they always met that time and day with no problem whatsoever. When they guy is here, he will always explain to you exactly what he did depending upon what he found and what he had to replace. The cost is all covered in the maintenance agreement. If they do have to come out for a major problem, you get a discount on repairs and they also give you priority service. They are a good company.

Service Representative came to check the Swamp Cooler and told us we needed new pad and spider. He told us and simply walked out of the house. He said he was not going to fix it and left. We called the main office and the manager was very disrespectful and hung up on us because he said I was abusive to his employee and verbally abusive to his wife. I was never abusive to anyone and I have witnesses here to prove it. Berg had serviced my A/C and Swamp Cooler before, but because we requested one of their service men by name and he was not there, they sent us someone we never met before. Note: Berg had come out 2 weeks prior and replaced the pump and nothing else. We paid $120.00 for a $20.00 part... really - We can not trust BERG.

Summers in this area are brutaly hot and during rainy season are hot and humid. We decided to change from evaporative cooling to air conditioning to help us get thru the summers. I called Bergs, scheduled an initial appointment, and when the unit arrived it only took them 2 days to complete the installation. The installers were very polite, efficient, and tolerant of our new puppy who wanted to help them. I will be calling Bergs when we are ready to get a new furnace.

Prompt arrival according to appt. Ended up replacing the computer circut board for 10 year old furnace. Quick job, which is good. Tech stuck around to check that everything worked and even discussed other options for house. We had been living in our new home for about 3 months.

Contacted three times for an emergency call Saturday 16 June 2012 on the number provided via their weekend answering service. Have yet to receive a return call. The repairs were expertly and promptly completed by a competitor.

I would give them all A's and I would absolutely use them in the future.

They are extremely flexible and willing to work with you. Even though it was a lot of money, they started the work and let me gather my funds because I didn't have $4,000 sitting around. They even have a service where they come back and check up on the equipment, and a lot of people don't have that.

They are very nice people and very responsive. I had another provider who came by and said that I needed it replaced, would cost me several thousand dollars and there was nothing more that they could do. When I called Berg's they came out replaced a part and it worked ever same.

The service was outstanding. I was very impressed with how well they were able to diagnose the problem. I was very impressed with the quality of the service. The workers were very professional, nice, and didn't linger doing nothing. They had the job done within a day.

After getting bids from several contractors, I considered price, reputation, customer service, applicable knowledge, and concerns for my needs and wants. I found that Bergs, although not the least expensive of all bids, they were the least expensive for company's that seemed to have a complete package. They also did the most thorough job in determining my exact needs and were available to answer all of my questions. I found them to be the best value and still do.

Very professional, all work completed w/in time frames they stated (two days). And System works wonderfully. Recommendations for back up system (heat pump not efficient below 30 or so.) were right on. Price was less than others and quality was not compromised. I'll be back in about a 6 to 8 months to give another review of ongoing service and function of the units. If you're in the market for a new heating and cooling system, make sure you give them a call.
