 + 1 moreHe arrived; I showed him and his associate the leak below the sink in the kitchen and then an area of electrical outlets had lost power. He and his associate immediately went to work. They did have to leave and get supplies at Home Depot and returned quickly. They were finished in about 2 hours.
Description of Work: I can't remember the exact amount; but remember it being fair. We will use his services again. I highly recommend him and his associate. I forgot the owners name; at the time of this writing. He is courteous, punctual, thorough. I learned before he left that he and his wife and family have horses. That made me really like him.

Description of Work: I sent an email inquiry, and I didn't receive a response. A couple days later, I left a voicemail, and received a return call the next day. I was told they would send me an email that I could reply to with my electronic door code information and job details. I never received a follow-up.

Description of Work: He patched and textured drywall. He hung curtain rods and replaced 2 wall vents. He helped hang a huge mirror.

Description of Work: The Handyman next door is a great company. They have done many things for us. We have used them at least 3 times. Hung Ceiling Fans, Installed tile. New vanity's in bathrooms among many other things. They can do just about anything. They charge 75/hr. They do not waste any time when they are there. Please disregard the approx service date. It is my best estimate that I can recall. I have used them many times. Just haven't needed to use them in awhile.

 + -1 moreThey have done work for me a couple of different times. They have also done work for my daughter. We really liked them a lot and we would use them again. My dishwasher had broken and he came and installed it. It worked fine. He is honest and he won't do the job if he thinks it not going to be worth it. Another time when I had him work he led me to a good place where I could buy plumbing parts that would last rather than the cheap ones that spoil soon.
Description of Work: I used the service of The Handyman Next Door in June to install a dishwasher.

 + 1 moreWe saw their professional looking truck in Scottsdale. We went home, looked them up on Angie's list and noted that only one person reviewed their service. We took a chance and are happy with the service. Dolan did and excellent job. We will hire The Handyman Next Door again.
Description of Work: 1. Check that dishwasher is installed properly. 2. Mount dishwasher. 3. Remove old and install new screen door lock. 4. Remove old and install new bathtub pop-up stoppers in master and second bathrooms . 5. Install wall sconce.

 + -1 moreI knew when I drove home the night that Kerry and Jason were there, and my porch light was welcoming me after months of darkness, that I had made a good choice! Kerry initially arrived with his son Jason who went to work to install a new porch light while Kerry looked over the plumbing jobs needed. He was helpful in recommending how to buy good quality parts and sent me out to purchase same. He returned at our agreed upon time two days later and completed the work timely and efficiently.
Description of Work: Kerry replaced two faucet assemblies: one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom as well as replaced a P-trap. His son replaced a porch light that I had tried to do myself and got frustrated.

 + 3 moreJason showed up 15 minutes before and ready to start his job. He was here for around two and a half hours, and accomplished all they needed to get done for me in the time frame they said they would have it completed in. To top it off, the areas he was working in looked cleaner after he was done. They are a company I will contact again.
Description of Work: I was in a bind and needed some stuff done around my home as soon as possible. I heard from a friend about Kudzu. So I did some research and called the handyman next door, and spoke with Kerry to see if they could let me know how much it would be to fix a couple of small 1 X 2 drywall patches, install new light fixtures to replace the old ones I had in my bathrooms, adjusted my screen door, and also change out a couple of ceiling fans. They where able to give me an estimate over the phone, and were able to schedule me the very next day which worked out great since I needed to have it done for the holidays.
