Dave arrived on time. He quickly made his list of priority items and went to work. He assembled a bunk bed and desk efficiently and without any mess! He also assembled a desk and fixed some blinds in our bedroom. He swapped out a door knob in my daughter's room so she could have a lock and did some other minor repairs around the house. There were a few items that we did not have the required parts and he made recommendations on what to buy and suggested we purchase for the next appointment so he could get started right away. We were super impressed!

Emailed to make appointment and provider did not show. I called to find out why and they had not recorded the appointment though we had email exchanges to show it had taken place. Provider offered to have someone come out later that day but I had already taken the morning off to be available. There was no offer to compensate me for my wasted time.

Amazing service. It turned out that I didn't need to order any replacement parts at all. It was a minor wiring problem in the battery connector that just needed minor tightening. He showed me how to fix it if I run into any issues in the future. As a homeowner, I run into all kinds of issues here and there and need someone I can trust like Kerry to handle. I'll call him again. Thank you Kerry!!!

They gave me a time when he would be here. He was here- no problem I told him what i needed done and he went right to it. There was a part he needed and said he had to leave to get the part. He got it, came back, fixed it, done! He made it look so easy!

I cannot say enough about my experience with The Handyman Next Door. I made the appointment with Kerry and he sent Dave to my house. Dave was prompt, polite, clean and well organized. We went through my list and he copied everything down on his own list. He was incredibly efficient and extremely helpful. He is also very experienced and knowledgeable. When he went to Home Depot to pick up supplies, he even picked up a ladder that I had paid for in advance and brought it to my home. I really feel I got V.I.P service. Thank you Dave! I would call them again in a heart beat. This is my first experience on Angie's List! It was very positive.

Dave showed up on time and worked efficiently to remove the old cabinet and install the new one. He consulted me when appropriate and did an excellent, professional job. I was very happy with the quality and price.

The handyman worked on my rental property, which can be challenging. He coordinated with my tenant and got the work done quickly and on her schedule. As a landlady, I really appreciate workers who can make things easier for me.

I called this handyman service based on the reviews here at Angie's List. I can now say that I agree they are an A+ company! Dave was great. He showed up on time, was very personable and did a great job replacing two old, out-of date smoke alarms. He also replaced two outdoor lights for me. I was very pleased with the work and will definitely call again and recommend them to neighbors. Very professional, reasonable rates, top notch job!

Excellent service was provided by Dave. He is pleasant, neat, professional and very knowledge in many areas. Tried two other handyman before but was not successful. The Handyman Next Door is a great find for someone relocating to the area.

Dave was right on time and did all the work with great expertise. I hadn't realized what went into attaching these bars and I very glad I didn't attempt to do it myself. We will definitely use this service in the near future.

Dolan arrived on time and with all the materials he needed (we had given him a list ahead of time). He worked steadily through our projects, advising us of any unexpected issues. All work was performed in a professional manner and to our standards. Not only would we have him back, but we are having him back for a few more items before we close.

He did a very professional job in repairing all drywall holes in ceiling and moved the electrical hookup for a chandelier so it would be centered over our dining room table. He gave an estimate on how much time it would take and what the cost would be. He didn't go over the maximum he said it would cost to do the repairs. He was very professional and the work performed was excellent. You cannot see at all where the holes had been.

Excellent work, he completed all work in a fast, efficient, friendly and professional manner. I've used other handyman services but Handyman Next Door is definitely the gold standard!

Outstanding job. This is how it's supposed to work and other handyman companies/landscapers/contractors could learn a thing or two from these guys. First, they answered the phone. That's a huge step. Set the appointment up and the guy showed up on time and prompt. I showed him what needed to be done. He assessed the job and went to pick up the materials needed and completed the work thoroughly. The quality of work was excellent. I was impressed. I have another door off of my master bedroom that leads to my balcony that needs the same treatment because the sun beats on it all year. I'll definitely be calling them again for that as well as a few other jobs.

Dave arrived on time and did an outstanding job. He was professional and polite and gave advice on replacing the doorknob ourselves if we decided to - no pressure. His carpentry work on the door frame was impressive. The price was reasonable as well... would use again.

David was unable to remove the existing kitchen faucet (it was severely corroded), but did give me a referral to another Angie?s List provider. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. I?ll definitely use them again.

He included the parts, is a master carpenter, did all of this within 2 hours, was very professional, efficient and did an outstanding job.

Dolan did an excellent job, was very patient, took all efforts to minimize dust when the granite counter-top was cut and cleaned-up after himself. He was very professional, friendly and definitely knew what he was doing. He did a sample cut on a piece of throw-away granite first to make sure the cut would look good before cutting into the granite counter-top. Very happy with the work and would highly recommend.
