Qualified to do most anything.Repaired a window sill, inside and out. Picked up necessary supplies. Completed job early and stated that "owes me an hour"

The Tech (finish carpenter) showed up right as scheduled, took careful notes, made materials estimates and purchased them at the local Lowe's. He got right to work and did everything exactly as I had asked with his own suggestions worked in to enhance the overall quality of the job. He worked steadily and carefully. The results were excellent. In addition to the above cost of service (he charged for 4 1/2 hours although he was here for more like 5 hours) I paid the price of materials. Remnants were left with me. At all times he was pleasant and professional in his interactions with us. He cleaned up everywhere and even replaced furniture that I had moved for his access. We couldn't be more pleased. I will call on this outfit at all opportunities.

Dolan did a great job for me. He had done some previous work for me in patching/mudding a 2'x3' section of dryall wall and replacing some bathroom shutoff valves. This time he recaulked my shower and did some drywall work in the garage. Very knowledgeable in what he does. Make sure you check with them beforehand regarding any supplies they may need as this will save you a trip to Home Depot when he is onsite. You can probably find a less expensive provider but for me this has been worth the money so far.

These guys are just good at what they do -- smart, responsive, qualified, good to deal with. What I most like wasn't even the work they did. It was that they politely backed away from two jobs that they though required more expertise (roof and plumbing issues). I certainly will use these guys again.

looking for help with a number of projects around the house, Found "The Handyman Next Door" on Angies list, went to his website, left note there, he contacted me immediately via email, set up time and discussed details of the project over the phone, he quoted me a price "range" the actual total would be determined based on the number of hours required at his hourly rate, we agreed to the range and scheduled the appointment, the workman arrived, quick and thorough job of removing the gutters, i had the house and trim paint ready for him, patched a few small areas, painted where necessary, did a nice job of cleaning up, loaded the gutters into the truck for removal, provided a detailed invoice, we paid our bill... i will absolutely use "The Handyman Next Door" for future projects and would recommend them for other Angies list members...

They were very customer oriented from first contact to completion of the projects. Always considered repairing first before considering purchasing new. The handyman, Donal, was working every minute and multi-tasked e.g. when repairing the patio ceiling, there was a point the ceiling had to set for a while before he continued. He took that time to do another project. After acessing what needed to be done, he would discuss it with me before continuing. I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them to someone else.

The service was my second time using this service. i will definitely call this provider again if i need work done.

We were preparing to list our home for sale and needed a lot of cosmetic work done to make it look like new again, drywall, painting, etc.. These guys are amazing! They came and looked at the projects we had and gave us an estimate on time to complete. They were on time and spent a day and a half completing all of the projects that we originally discussed plus a few more that we requested at the last minute. They were careful to cover furniture and did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. The quality of their work was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone who needs projects done. It was very reasonable cost for all of the work done.

Incredibly well. I can't believe how much time and effort I wasted trying (unsuccessfully) to do some of these things myself. Dave worked smart, efficiently and cleanly. He had the tools and knowledge to do a very wide range to household chores. I can't believe how much he got done in 3 hours. I will be having him back for more "honey do items" in the very near future. At first it seemed expensive to pay someone to do this kind of stuff that it seems like a homeowner should be able to do themselves. Take my advice:, create a list of all the little things around the house the bother you and then call THE HANDYMAN NEXT DOOR. It was the best money I spent since I moved into this house. I can't believe how much pleasure I now get from opening doors that I used to struggle with. I now smile when I walking into a my bedroom with light fixtures that are so much more to my taste. I am extremely pleased with the work Dave did.

He did fantastic work, even though I gave him a tight schedule to complete the work. Worked clean and cleaned up thoroughly. Did a walkthrough to show me relevant points. I have used another highly rated "Handyman" service, and I can say without hesitation that in comparison this company is far better. I am booking them again next week for another job. Highly recommend.

The name of the representative was Dolan. Dolan arrived on time, and went right to work. The job turned out to be very complicated because the Wall-Bed came in several hundred pieces. The room where the bed was installed did not have any lighting installed, because it was a brand new house. Doland was not able to finish the job because we ran out of daylight. I needed to return to Seattle and I was not able to return to the house for three weeks. I arranged access to a house key for Dolan and I asked him to schedule the completion of the project when it was convenient for him. He was able to complete the work prior to my return from Seattle. We arrived a few days later and we found that the Wall-Bed was perfectly installed and the work was excellent. We were thrilled! It is very intimidating to find help when you are moving to another state. Angies list helped us to find the perfect service the first time!

This was an excellent experience. Kerry returned my call promptly and was great about making and then changing the appointment when I needed to reschedule. Dolan arrived right on time and was highly professional and respectful and clearly knows his stuff. The drywall repairs were so good, it was impossible to see where the damage had been, and he gave me the choice of painting one area myself, since the paint I had had dried out, or his doing it for me. I appreciated being offered the choice. He came up with an excellent and less expensive way of installing the cable enclosure. He did clean, excellent work and the cost for 4 hours of work was very reasonable.

he showed up on time, took my list and went right to work he did not stop other than to see if I was ok with each task after he completed it.
