great. my mother (86 years old) was there to supervise as i was out of town, and they treated her with respect, professionalism and did the job for a reasonable price. we have confidence in them and will hire them again.

I called Guy Swenson and he came within 24 hours found the problem and fixed it.

CASEY AND DAVE WERE VERY PERSONABLE AND PROFESSIONAL WORKMEN WHO ARRIVED ON TIME TO DO THE JOB, PROTECTED FURNISHINGS WHILE THEY WORKED, AND CLEANED UP AFTERWARDS. Guy was early got to accessing all the timers,GFI's checked all the connections tested the power. Went to the Home Depot bought 2 flood lights a replacement bulb installed them. Made sure it wasn't an overload on my transformer. Added an outlet for xmas lights . All in all did a good job. Very satisfied with him. Don't hesitate to use him.

Guy was a pleasure to work with. He had to dig up several areas of my front yard in order to find a a couple of cuts in the wiring that occurred when the landscaping was installed and caused my outdoor lights not to function as well as a circuit breaker to keep tripping. Guy arrived on time and was very helpful and professional. I would not hesitate to call him again or recommend him for any electrical work.

Swenson's two-man crew arrived on time-- slightly early, actually. They quickly went about their business and identified an overheating problem with the three low voltage lights, and then replaced them with line voltage lights. I asked if they could stay to replace the remaining low voltage cans with line voltage cans (about 10 - 12 cans) for safety purposes. They altered their schedule to stay as long as it took to remove and replace all of the fixtures. I was impressed that each man put a cloth down on the floor under where they were working to catch any debris. When they were finished, they wrapped up the cloths and left a clean floor. OVERALL: The crew's manner was professional and courteous. They were efficient and were willing to alter their schedule to complete the job in one trip. I'll call them again.

This "Guy" is da bomb! Think Dr. Marcus Welby (if you are old enough to remember him) who makes a house call, shows up on time, applies his decades of experience, is a genuine nice guy, and patiently fixes your problems for a reasonable price. This is not a big company with an attitude. Swenson is personal service. Guy takes his time and does a quality job. If you need an electrician, your search is over.

Spoke with Guy Swenson and explained what I wanted done and he scheduled a 6 am start on 9/28/2010. Casey and David arrived promptly at 6 am and worked straight through until 2 pm without a break and then cleaned up. They advised me that the rooms where I wanted the 3 new fans installed were not prewired so that entailed much work in cramped attic areas--running wires, installing boxes and outlets, etc., and then putting the fans and lightkits together and testing everything to ensure that all worked smoothly. The motion sensor light on the front of the garage and the two flood lights in the backyard also required signifcant work--running conduit, placing the switches indoors, and positioning the sensor light so that people on the sidewalk would not set it off and with the flood lights aiming one lamp of each unit to shine along the sides of the house while the others illuminated the backyard. They finished at 2 pm and cleaned up and returned at 6 am two days later to deinstall the 2 old patio fans and install the two new ones and replace the nonfunctioning doorbell. They finished at 7:30 am. Total labor time: 19 hours @ $65/hr. Total cost: approx. $1500 including materials and taxes. For the installation of the 3 new fans Casey explained options on how they could be installed and where the switches could be located. Both Casey and David were professional, neat in their work habits, cleaning up completely at the end of both work sessions. Swenson Electric will be my choice for any future electrical work I need to be done.

At first I thought that my kitchen appliances, bought at the same time, were all giving out at once as none of them were preforming properly. I called an appliance servicing company and they sent out a repairman. He quickly realized it was not a problem with the appliances and told me I probably should call an electrician. Where-as I went to Angies List for an electrician in my area. A man from Swensen came by to check that day and suggested that I not use the appliances very much if at all over the weekend and set up an appointment for the next Tuesday to do the work. On Monday morning they called early and asked if the work could be done then. I agreed and they came out. Not long after they arrived they realized the problem was not in the house but with the power company buried line. The Swensens man called the power company for me and explained the problem. Since the house, built in the 1970's, has aluminum wiring they suggested that all the outlets and electrical fixtures be properly be tagged with copper wire which they did. The power company showed up to dig up and replace their line as Swensen was leaving. I was very appreciative of the fact that Swensen spoke with the Salt River Power for me and explained what the problem was for.

Guy arrived exactly at the arranged time, and went straight to work. He was extremely professional, and we are very pleased with the overall experience. We will definitely call him again next time we need any electrical work.

He arrived at 6AM - delighted to have someone come first thing in AM. Installed the timers. Did not work that evening. I telephoned next day and he came right out and solved the problem.

Guy came to check out the problem on the same morning that I called. He showed me what/where the parts were burnt or damaged and explained options and his recommended plan. He located the parts and gave me an estimate of the cost. He called the power company and made arrangements for the disconnect/reconnect and advised me that a permit from the city would be required - which he explained that I could obtain or he would obtain. All the work was completed and inspected by noon the following day. The final price was slightly below the bottom of the range he had in his estimate. Guy was extremely pleasant, responsive, and thorough. He communicated very effectively with me as well as the power company and city (to facilitate a somewhat earlier inspection and reconnect than planned). He had the work completed and inspected before the other contractor that I called had even returned my initial phone call. I will definitely call Guy if we need an electrician again. It was a great experience from start to finish.

I attempted to convert an existing two-wire outlet with a three-wire after reading a reference book and verifying that the circuit was grounded. However, the was a problem with exposed bits of wire at the outlet box connection and I actually had a little mini fire when I powered on the outlet. Luckily I was able to turn off the circuit at the breaker board before any real damage was done. Guy diagnosed the problem and explained that I hadn't done anything wrong other than not discover the faulty connection. He gave me some pointers to follow before switching out other outlets in the house. I now have more confidence that I can make some the upgrades myself and save the tricky stuff for a pro. Overall, a pretty good experience.

Super. Very professional and personable. It was a bigger job than I expected and took several hours to complete. He even called back and left a voice mail to make sure everything worked well after the door company came to adjust everything. I highly recommend.

He was very good, he diagnosed the problem quickly, and he didn?t overcharge. He arrived quickly and promptly and he charged a very reasonable price. He was extremely good indeed.

He finished the job by re-arranging all the wires and the final cost was less than what he has originally estimated. Strongly recommend Guy to anyone that need help with electricall help. He has been licensed since 1979.

They are a small company. Their prices are fair. They are on time and always professional. I have recommended them to others.

Set an appointment for next day after initial call, he called 1/2 before the appointment saying he could come early, very courteous, prompt, even offered to fix a quirky doorbell. Would definitely recommend.

Guy Swenson arrived 45 minutes after I made my first phone call. His appearance and demeanor are very professional. I explained the problem and he immediately began diagonosing. I aprreciated all the explanations of what caused our problem and just what he had to do to correct it. He worked constantly, always placing the safety of his work first. I am a very wary customer who demands quality and Swenson Electric provided it.
