Overall, Guy 's experience was obvious. He solved the problem and did not rack up extra charges.

Casey and David arrived on time and were very agreeable and easy to deal with. They got straight to work and wasted no time. When they left they gave me a ballpark figure of around $400, which was in line with the estimate Guy had given me over the phone. BUT a couple days later Guy called me apologetically and told me that he'd underestimated the labor, as two workmen were involved--THE BILL CAME TO $140 MORE THAN THE ESTIMATE! Even though this was considerably less than other estimates I'd received, I thought the overrun was a bit excessive, which is why I gave them a C on price. Guy needs to watch his estimates more closely.

Today I contacted Guy for a second time. I first used Swenson Electric last June when I overloaded a circuit with a new countertop microwave and had to have a fried breaker replaced. Although I live further away, they responded the same day I called. I found the service to be helpful, professional, honest, and timely. Furthermore, the fee was extremely reasonable. During that visit, they even helped me move the heavy microwave to a different circuit and looked through my kitchen to see if I had a dedicated outlet for the microwave. (I do . . . but it's over the stove and I didn't get a replacement over-the-stove microwave yet.) Unfortunately, the same situation happened to me the other day on the other breaker. It was my fault - I accidentally ran a small space heater at the same time as the microwave, completely forgetting the breaker couldn't handle so many amps. I immediately called Guy again because he earned my trust after a great experience last June. We were in the process of setting up an appointment again, and he asked me to double check the breaker one more time just to be sure. (We had already attempted this before calling Guy, and nothing was tripped and we couldn't move the breaker - the same thing that happened last time.) While on the phone with Guy, I was able to get the breaker to reset, and everything is working perfectly now. Most other companies would probably have sent someone out, and charged a service fee + materials for something Guy was willing to try to help me with over the phone. I would absolutely hire Swenson Electric for any future services I require. I always get nervous contacting businesses for which I am unfamiliar because it seems they always tack on extra charges once they come to your home. My experience with Guy and his group has been the opposite - I believe they are doing honest business at a reasonable price. Thank you!

My experience w/Swenson was excellent...from the first phone contact I made w/Guy to Casey and David who arrived on time on the agreed date to do the work. The work was done quickly, efficently and most importantly safely and to code. I have more work that I need to have done and will be calling on their services again...

We turned to Angie's to find a reliable and recommended electrician and found Swenson. They gave us a competitive quote and we have invited them back to do additional work numerous times. The team are reliable, get the job with minimum fuss and do great work and are a pleasure to work with. We have left them unsupervised in the house many times and have always returned to find that they have left the place tidy and more importantly securely locked up. We will continue to use Casey and his team for our future electrical work and I have no hesitation in providing an excellent reference for them. Thank you Gentleman.

Guy Swenson showed up right on time to give us an estimate which he was able to provide immediately, giving us a "not to exceed" figure of $1500. They showed up to do the work on time and worked quickly and efficiently (important since we were paying by the hour + parts). They had to return a second time a few weeks later to install the under cabinet lights once the pantry was complete. They didn't bill us for any work until the entire job was complete...even though they had actually already finished most of their portion of the job. Everyone involved in the job was friendly, efficient and skilled. The job actually came in almost $150 under the estimate. We will not hesitate to use this company again...very satisfied.

We will go back to Swenson Electric for future lighting upgrades. The electrician was already setting up when I arrived a little after 7 in the morning. We're working with an assortment of contractors for basic upgrades, and Swenson's quality of customer service is among the best.

Guy and his crew are very punctual, and they did a good clean-up after completing the job. We will be engaging them again for additional work very soon!

I called Guy a week ago to set up some possible dates for the work to be done. Guy called back and we scheduled for 12/27, very easy. Casey and Dave from Swenson Electirc arrived on time and went right to work. I had 2 ceiling fans installed and 8 other lights replaced, not all were in great shape. Excellent workmanship and responsiveness to questions. They gave me recommendations for both the current and future installations, and corrected some issues with the lights we had bought, along with putting the ceiling fans together. Bottom line, I am very happy with the quality of their work, the timeliness of their work, and the reasonable price. I couldn't recommend them or the company any higher and will be contacting them for future work. Thanks guys....well done!

The property manger called Swenson and was able to arrange a same-day appointment. Guy Swenson, who I guess is the owner/operator, came as promieed on time and did the repair. He also pointed out some possible code issues we have with our wiring due to the work of a terrible electrician we used previously (who will remain nameless). I appreciated having his input. All in all, a simple repair done with very accommodating service. I will continue to use Swenson for my work in the future.

We contacted Swenson Electric over the weekend and Guy called back promptly. In fact he scheduled us the first thing on monday morning. Casey and Dave arrived promptly and very professionally addressed our concerns of flickering lights and potentially dated service panels. After inspecting our system and doing a little maintenance (cleaning and tightening connections) and readings they believed the problem was coming from outside from the electric company ( APS).After a few trips from APS, the flickering is gone. There was a faulty wire and loose connection in the line. Because of Swensons methodical and intelligent approach, the problem was identified. Just a week before we were feeling like we may have to go an expensive route and replace all our service. Had we done that, the problem may still have existed. I give 10 stars to Guy, casey, dave.!

Casey and David arrived promptly and evaluated my request to add two sconces and a light switch to a faux-painted wall. They were very careful to ensure it would go smoothly before making any holes in the wall. They also suggested placing the light switch in a spot different than what I originally planned, but the new spot was actually much better both electrically and aesthetically. The holes were as small as possible and nicely hidden by the sconces. The installation was perfect, and I highly recommend Swenson Electric.

CASEY AND DAVID WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. CASEY CALLED AND WE ARRANGED FOR THE TIME FOR THEM TO COME IN. THEY CAME ON TIME AND THEY WORE SHIRTS WITH "SWENSON' LOGO. VERY HELPFUL TO IDENTIFY THEM. THEY WORKED FAST, VERY EFFICIENT AND THOROUGH. THEY WERE BOTH VERY RESPECTFUL AND EASY TO TALK TO. THEY LOOKED AT THE PROBLEM FANS AND SWITCHES AND TOLD ME THE PROBLEM. I NEED NEW FANS. THEY CAME BACK THE NEXT MONDAY TO INSTALL THE NEW FANS. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WILL CALL THEM AGAIM. THANK YOU SWENSON ELECTRIC, YOU HAVE GOOD WORKERS. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They arrived within their stated time. Casey and Dave were great! Courteous, honest and straightforward. It was clear they knew what they were doing. We needed to replace the nonfunctional pool pump timer and the outdoor lighting power unit/transformer as it burnt out. They told us they would have to find the parts we needed and get back to us. I assumed that meant a delay of a few days. However, within and hour of their departure, they called back to say they found the parts and were returning to install them!!! Who provides that kind of service these days? Everything was installed flawlessly and it all works. Fast, courteous and responsive. Can't ask for any better. Then I asked to pay their bill and they told me they would mail it to me. Every other worker always asked for immediate payment. It's so clear that to these guys customer service comes first. Bottom line, I would use these guys again anytime in the future when an electrical problem occurs. I would give them my highest possible recommendation for excellent service. -800This was my first use of Angie's list and I couldn't be happier!

Once again I was extremely pleased with the workmanship and professionalism demonstrated by the workers. They were very proficient and considerate in showing me the problems that existed. I felt very confident and comfortable with their work. I am planning to use Swenson Electrical again to put in some new electrical updates to my home.

Recently I moved into a new house. To my annoyance, the first time I used my microwave it tripped a breaker. Worse, it was my living room breaker my TV and computer were on! This is not something I wanted to deal with long term so I called/emailed a few electricians right away. I went with Swenson because they frankly seemed most interested in taking my business. On the day of service, the two gentlemen arrived a little ahead of schedule and went straight to work. It took them a little less than three hours to run the line, even with the issues of having a vaulted ceiling to work with and some duct work in the way also. They cleaned up after the job immaculately and they even added access boxes in the garage to the new electrical line in case I wanted to add any outlets in the future. Finally, as they were finishing up they gave me some general advice and things to look for concerning my roof and ceiling issue in my garage. Really above and beyond to do these sorts of things! I was very happy with how relatively easy the whole process was.

Excellent in all ways. The garage had a fan that was being controlled by a digital timer switch. In order to operate better the switch should have been a temperature controlled thermostatic switch. Guy Swenson (the owner) answered the initial phone call and completely understood the problem and my request to change out and install the correct type of switch. Guy showed up and did the work himself and was very efficient and expert, taking very little time. Price for service render was excellent. Already plan to use him again on another matter. Highly recommend.

The guys did a great job and...just as impressively, they cleaned up after themselves! I was so pleased. I have a few more to take care of to finish off the house. I will be calling them again to do the work for me.
