Technicians were very friendly and answered all my questions and performed work quickly.Will be calling them back again for more services in the next few weeks.

I had what I thought was an electrical issue and had exhausted all I knew to do. Looked up electricians on Angie's to call for service. Guy answered the phone personally! How many businesses will you call where the owner answers the phone? Guy listened to my issue and gave me a troubleshooting tip I didn't think about. His reply was "try that out and if it doesn't work, call me back. I don't want to come out and charge you if it's something you can fix yourself." How's that for honesty?!?!?!?! He could have booked the appointment, came out and charged me. What an honest, up-front gentlemen. While I did not need his services this time, you can bet your last dollar, Guy will be the ONLY electrician I call in the future when I do!

I phoned and left a message. Guy called me back promptly. He had an opening in his schedule as he was just finishing up another job. Guy said he could be here within 30-40 minutes, and he was! I only needed to give him directions once. Guy installed my new chandalier and added a dimmer switch. It looks great. Guy cleaned up after the job was done. He was very professional and polite. We walked around the house talking about some other electrical work we are interested in doing. Guy was positive that the work could be done. (I had a different electrician here previously, who did nothing but complain about how complicated the work we wanted done would be.) Guy gave me options, ideas, and advice on things. He drew up a plan for outside lighting which we will be submitting to our HOA for approval. We will be calling Swenson Electric again! Update - I called them again. They were wonderful and professional, and even gave attention to things I couldn't/didn't notice. They installed ceiling fan wiring where none existed, installed a new light in a closet where none had existed before, installed backyard lighting where none had existed before, and noticed some unsupported ceiling fans which they fixed for me. They also installed some new light fixtures for me, and fixed a ceiling fan. This is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I would rate them an A+ if that were an option.

Casey and his colleague were prompt in arriving and very professional. The work was completed in a timely fashion and all projects looked great. The patio fan install was tricky as there was no attic access, no current wiring in place and there was no beam centered over the patio. Casey was very thorough and took extra steps to ensure the fan was installed so that it was aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. I had received an estimate for the work from an independent contractor and anticipated Swenson might be cost me more as they were an electrical company. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had saved myself $150 by working with them. I would highly recommend!

The guys were prompt, courteous, efficient and friendly! We had a long punch list and it was completed to our full satisfaction!

We own an income property where I have served as HOA President for several years now. With the property's age nearing 45 years, there are a variety of repairs, maintenance tasks and capital improvement projects on the agenda. One such measure was to reduce the monthly power bill and improve safety by upgrading the exterior lighting in the common areas from a mechanical timer to a photoelectric dusk-to-dawn switch. I found Swenson Electric right here on A-List. The company had very high marks and appeared to be a smaller mom-and-pop type business -- the kind I always like to support. I called and was greeted directly by the owner, Guy. As I described the project, Guy immediately identified the most efficient and cost-effective method for achieving the desired result. Let there be no mistake about it; he could have just as easily sold us a lot more parts and labor. Integrity is a rare commodity and I really appreciate it. We met at the property the following day to look at the lighting. Once again, Guy identified more ways to save us money by using some of the existing fixtures and only charging for actual parts and labor rather than a flat fee schedule. By mid-morning the following day, the work was completed and I had the invoice in my email. All around this was a real pro job with solid, nonsense-free customer service. We'll be back.

It went very smoothly. My air conditioner turned off Saturday night and last night. I knew it was the fuse (diagnosed on Saturday by Wolff Mechanical, another great company) and decided to replace it. I call Mr. Swenson this morning, he came out just before noon, and all is well. He's also a very nice man. I had occasion to use them last year for some electrical issues and was very happy with what they did. I plan on calling them whenever I have any electrical issues in the future.

The chandelier light in our front entryway stopped working and we could not fix it ourselves as the entryway has a twenty foot ceiling. Swenson was able to resolve the problem quickly, some wires in the ceiling had come lose. They were professional and easy to work with.

This electrician is the most efficient and honest electrician we have ever met. He did the job very conscienciously and efficiently, and he demonstrated excellent knowledge of what needed to be done. We are extremely happy with this job and we plan on using his services for all of our electrical jobs/projects in the future.

Great experience and service and very professional and efficient. Guy had to work with APS and the city for permits and clearance. He took care of everything for us and made sure all was in place and ready to go on the install date. We are definitely going to use Swenson Electric for other repairs and updates in our home. Swenson electric was very professional, efficient and knowledgeable when it came to all of my questions regarding the wiring and repair process. Their price was fair and I plan on using them again for a panel upgrade later this year. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality electrician.

We are selling our house and the home inspection report indicated some items to be upgraded or replaced..We previously used Swenson Electric in 2009 to upgrade our electrical service to 200 amps..The work was done professionally and on time so we were happy they were available to help us again.. Casey Swenson called early on the morning of Monday 5-6-2013 and let us know he was available later that morning to come and do our list of work..He came prepared with the necessary materials and .did the work in a professional manner including the clean up from the repairs. He also suggested removing some glass tiles surrounding the outlet covers for the GFCI's which were installed in the kitchen backsplash area and did a great job of not disturbing any of the remaining tiles...This allowed the larger profile outlet to fit correctly even with the change... It is a pleasure to work with Guy and Casey Swenson...

The electricians arrived early and immediately began working. They started with GFI's and tested where all of them would need to go including the garage, kitchen, and bathrooms. After this, they began work on wiring in the attic to allow fans in each room since none of the rooms were wired for lighting or a fan. Each room had a switch that connected to an outlet in which I had them remove that connection and make the outlet always live. Each room is now equipped with an on/off switch for the light and a separate fader and on/off switch for the fan. I much prefer this method rather than dealing with pull chains on the fans. There were a few places of concern that I had with the previous owner(s) handy man work as it relates to power. For instance, it looked like they took an extension cord and directly connected the wires of the extension cord to the wires of an outlet and then had the extension cord sticking out a wall. I had these types of things completely removed as well as have a legitimate outlet added in some of those places. Swenson Electric did an amazing job and I will be using them again when we are ready to begin work on our spa.

He was right on time and fixed the problem quickly.

Guy and Casey of Swenson Electric have been to my home maybe 6 times since we have moved in, in the last two and a half years. There has not been an electrical issue they have not been able to take care of immediately. They have reasonable pricing, they're prompt, have great communication, and are very professional. Always come when they say they're going to come. I will be using them for any future electrical needs.

Great. They pick up the phone when you call. Give you a basic estimated over phone. Arrive early then time stated. Explain everything and why.

Called Mr. Swenson late the afternoon of 04/10 to describe the problem; he confirmed that he could be in my area the next morning at 7a and would that work? Glad that the problem could be addressed quickly, I agreed to that time and was even more pleased when he showed up at my door about 10 minutes early. How many contractors are on time let alone early? Within minutes he isolated the problem, pointed it out to me and then took care of it. Total elapsed time from arrival to paying the reasonable bill couldn't have been much more than 20 minutes. We also discussed upgrades to my home's electrical system at that time too, something I will gladly hire Mr. Swenson to do. An experienced and professional gentleman; highly recommended.

Last evening, the electricity in my kitchen went out--this affected the refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and coffee pot.. I tried resetting the circuit breaker but the circuit had popped out of the board. This morning I called Angie's List for the1st time and the gentleman I spoke to gave me a couple of names of electrician. I called Swenson Electric and Mr. Swenson said he would be over to my apartment in 1 hour. He arrived on time and fixed the problem immediately. He was very knowledgeable and I was totally satisfied. I would call this company again.

Very prompt , very courteous and professional workers . Casey and David were both really great. I am sure there might have been companies that cost less , but , this was money well spent . Would , and am going to, use again.

Swenson Electric was great to work with. The owner and a crew of two showed up on time. They were courteous, very knowledgeable and have good communication skills. The work was done efficiently with cost savings recommended when applicable. Work was done in a neat and orderly manor with the work area cleaned up at the end of every day. They pulled the necessary permits and practiced good safety habits. Great job at a fair price. I highly recommend Swenson Electric.

For several years our backyard spa and pool lights have not operated as they should. Our pool maintenance person could not find the problem and always thought it had something to do with the landscaping lighting, which was tied into the pool circuits. We went on a vacation for Spring Break and he had worked on the pool, promising us all would be in good working order when we returned. Sadly, this was not the case. We knew then we were going to have to get an electrician to find the problem. We are very busy and didn't know a good electrician who could come out to look at the problem, which seemed overwhelming. I had heard of Angie's list but had never used them. I joined so I could look at who was available. I found Swenson Electric by searching for Electricians in my zip code, 85262. I saw that they had great reviews from many people near me. I called the number listed and got put through to Guy Swenson immediately. He was very polite, congenial and professional. He came out the very next day and after a few minutes of inspecting the problem he knew exactly what to do and he fixed it. Now our pool and spa lights and landscape lights work for the first time in years. I was so pleased that I referred him to my friend who is on the HOA at Scottsdale 2000 for a pool lighting area electrical repair. He went there a couple of days later and fixed their problem and they were delighted with his work and personality and price. I cant thank Guy enough for helping us out in this situation. We had no idea what was wrong and someone less ethical could have charged us much more. Guy is very honest, a licensed electrician of 35 years. Very personable and great communication. I highly recommend him for any job that requires electrical knowledge and expertise! Thanks Guy!!!! PS...Guy is not restricted to North Scottsdale. He goes all over the valley to perform his work.

The electricians from Swensons arrived right on time and completed the work for less than estimated. They were very thorough and answered any questions that I had.

It took a while to get a return call, but once arrangements were made, they showed up on time, were clean and pleasant. they completed the work quickly and efficiently.

We did not have an Angie's List coupon but we found the reviews to be outstanding. Some of the other companies coupon's either looked like gimmicks or were not applicable so we took a chance on Swenson Electric and we are very glad we did.

Swenson Electric did nice work on our house. They were nice. They did a good job and they were quick. I will be using them again. They weren't the most expensive. It was a fair price, but not cheap.
