Guy arrived sooner than we were prepared for, as all the fixtures were still in boxes. He helped upwrap them and started immediately to replace the ceiling fans. One of the fixtures from Overstock.com was broken but he quickly found a remedy for it. He showed us several plugs that we were no t using because they were not hot....fixed all of them so now we can turn on lights and switches that we thought were broken. Everything was done in a timely and thoughtful manner.

We experienced an outage and breaker wasn't tripped. Call Guy Swenson who we found on Angie's List. He arrived in less than a half hour and diagnosed the problem by checking all the outlets that were affected. Rewired a couple and then replaced the breaker. Was done in less than an hour and the problem was fixed. Charged us exactly what he said it would be and installed a new breaker for a minimum charge.

After using Guy for the first time 4 days ago, I had to call him again because our kitchen and dining room lights went completely out and it wasn't a fuse problem. I called him at 9:30 am and he was at my house by 11:30 am. He was thorough in checking many of the outlets and explained to me what all the wires were for and what he was looking for. He was able to figure out the problem and fix it. He was very professional, punctual and charged a very fair price. To have an electrician at your house in 2 hours of the call is unheard of in the Phoenix area! I will highly recommend Guy to all my family and friends!!!

When I called Guy and him told the problems we were having, he scheduled an appointment for the following day. He was right on time and was able to diagnose the problem with the shorting out of light fixtures within about 10 minutes. he explained in detail why the problem was happening and what would be involved in fixing the problem ( which was digging a trench from the front door out under 2 sidewalks to the 2 light pillars on the curb). I asked if he could have it done by Thanksgiving and he said yes. he also quoted me a ball park price for the work. I then had him replace all the outside light fixtures. Some of them were sensor fixtures and he explained the options I had with having them stay on with just motion or stay on dusk to dawn. He was patient in answering all my questions, was very professional and charged an extremely fair price for the work he did. I will definitely use Swenson Electric for all my electrical needs. This was the first time I used Angie's List and was very happy with the quality of service!!!

Guy Swenson came out the same morning that I called. He was professional, friendly, and listened to what I had to say and gave me knowledgeable answers. He fixed a recessed canister light, figured out why two outlets were not working, and even tested the battery on my mother's motorized wheel chair. Later he sent two nice employees out to install two under the counter lights. I would definitely use Swenson Electric again.

They are very understanding and have excellent customer service. I was able to find the GFI on our front porch and the power went back on with no problem.

I moved into a 10 year old home which has numerous issues with outdoor lighting. Being new to the area, I relied upon Angie's List to help me find an electrician. I chose Swenson Electric based on the large number of extremely positive reviews, and I'm glad I did. They are every bit as good as all their great reviews say. The team which came to my house patiently trouble shooted a variety of different electrical issues I was having. Some were easily fixed because they knew exactly what was likely causing it. They also looked at something which is a significant issue and gave me an estimate. They were professional, knowledgeable, honest and completely trustworthy. The fees are reasonable. I can't say enough good things about them. I was happy with the service I received and plan to use them in the near future on a significant issue that needs to be fixed.

I have a fountain in my front area and it wouldn't stay on. I kept punching the outdoor gfi switch and it would come on for a second or so and cut off. I thought for sure I needed a replacement electrical outlet and gfi switch. I called and Swensons owner said unplug the fountain pump and plug in some other electrical device. If it goes on your problem is the pump. Yep it was the pump. Thank you. NO CHARGE Just 2 months ago I had a pump in the fountain in the back stop. I called another vendor and they came out and hit the gfi switch and charged me $119. Yep Thank you again Swnsons electrical. You are my new electrician

The owner of the company turned out to be a friend of the former resident manager of my condo complex and has done work in the complex before, so was familiar with the quirks of these old buildings. He came by to evaluate the job and set up an appointment for two of his electricians to actually do the work. Everyone was prompt, courtesy and competent. They did everything I needed plus a couple of things I had not thought about originally, and were in and out in about an hour. Great guys - will definitely use them again.

Electrician evaluated landscaping timer, shopped for a new one, (I asked him to get my groceries while he shopped...it was worth a try. Lol) fitted and set it up. Installed dimmer switch in bathroom...after shopping for the correct bulbs....and changed a bulb on a 14ft staircase. How many electricians do small stuff like, 'change a bulb' with a smile.... a good guy. :)

During a rehab of our guest house, just days before the drywall was scheduled for installation, we determined the power line for our in-wall air conditioner needed to be replaced. We contacted Swenson Electrical (602-397-8674 or Swensonelectric.com) and talked with Guy Swenson. He was able to work within our very tight schedule and made the necessary repairs on very short notice. He arrived on time, had all of the necessary materials and completed the job on schedule at a fair price. Thanks Guy!

Guy was prompt and honest. His price was very reasonable, especially considering he had a long drive to north Cave Creek to get to us, and then had to run to Lowe's for parts. We would definitely recommend him, and will certainly call him back when we have another electrical repair to be done.

It went great. They were wonderful. Prompt, very customer focussed. They did a great job explaining the situation to me.

In short - excellent service! I needed a NEMA 14-50R socket, conduit, wiring, and breaker installed in my residential garage. I found Swenson Electric on Angie's list and gave them a call at 11:00 AM. Guy Swenson answered, took my details, and promised to call me back. His son (Casey) called me back a few hours later and offered to perform the work that day! Wow. We settled on the next day at 7:00 AM. At 6:50 AM, Casey and Dave show up and promptly get to it. Approximately 90 minutes later, they were done. The completed job was very professional with no "cheap" components. They cleaned up after themselves as well, leaving no trace that they were there other than the finished work, and a bill for services. :-)

Installer was polite and proffesional and quick. The job took 15 minutes!

Had Swenson Electric out several weeks ago after experiencing a "partial" electrical failure in my home office and a few adjacent rooms. Guy Swenson himself showed up in about an hour, worked diligently to locate the problem and got it fixed in a fairly short amount of time to "save the day." Very quick response, very nice and very accommodating -- and competitively priced. I will definitely use them again if needed.

What a great experience! Guy Swenson has to run the most honest and dependable Electrical company in the business! His team installed a ceiling fan and remote where there was no electricity already there. They ran the wires and installed the fan in under 2 hours. They left NO mess behind despite having to cut a small 2" hole in the ceiling to fish wires to the fan. They were prompt, dependable, professional and on top of their game. No tricks, no gimmicks, no hassle. Just great customer service! I highly recommend Guy for any electrical needs you have!

Came on time and did the job

Fabulous. Called about 7:30 am,, Guy said he could get here midday, he called to update me on the time, again when he was on his way. Fixed the problem professionally and efficiently. I'll call again with any electrical problem.

These guys know what they are doing and are professionals. We use them often and have never had a bad experience.

We had electrical outlets that stopped functioning one after another. And then our low voltage lights stopped working. That"s when we got on Angies list and found Swenson Electric. I spoke to Guy on 6/24, and he committed some one to come the next day. Dave arrived the next day on time. He listened, then did some testing. He then explained to me what the problems were. It was clear Dave knew what he was doing. He explained what the options were and the cost of each. We made our decisions and Dave did the work. He even tolerated me "supervising" and patiently explained what he was doing. In addition to being a very competent professional, he was also personable. I found out he's Guys brother! And Swenson is a long standing family business. We've had significant problems with electricians in the past and this was a totally different experience. Sewnson is our electrician from now on.If you are looking for an electrician we HIGHLY recommend them. In fact we have some more electrical work and will be calling them soon.

He was very generous and helpful explaining the wiring. Instead of sending over an electrician and charging me a huge fee, he just explained the wiring to me on the phone for free!
