Description of Work: Recently APS was in my neighborhood installing new meters. Unfortunately when it came to mine being swapped out they found that the riser leading into my electric panel was broken. Suffice to say they left me a nice Blue Tag Notice stating that it needed to be repaired. Which isn't a easy or inexpensive job to do. Meaning it would have to be dug up, APS called to shut off power, then fixed, it needed to be inspected and pass, APS called again to turn power back on and then filling in the 3' X 3' hole. I called Swenson Electric and spoke to Guy, explaining what I needed done. Oh I also needed to pay for a $150 permit from the city before any work could be done. Guy was very professional and helpful on the phone, he said he would take care of everything, including getting the permit (which was sweet of him). He said they could start first of the next week and gave me an estimate of what it would cost. Guy was wonderful to work with, he kept me informed of what was going on and when. His brother Casey and co-worker David showed up as scheduled and they really did a great job. It was the best customer service I've ever had. I didn't have to do anything but mail them the payment, which was very reasonable. I would use them again and refer my friends and family.

Description of Work: I made a mistake here. I had previously written a wonderful review and called them again for additional work to be done. After 3 weeks following an email I had sent asking for service, I still had not heard from Guy Swenson. So today I called him. Put me on hold, no problem. When he answered again, he said I was "on his list". I told him I hadn't heard from him in 3 weeks. Could he at least let me know he was really busy and couldn't get to me for a while? He had no answer. Sounds like he was busy with other issues...he hung up on me after I told him I would call someone else because he couldn't get me scheduled. I was really shocked.

Description of Work: Half of my home was without power. I called Swenson Electric and got promt service. I live in an older home where alumminum wire was installed over 40 years ago and partially got replaced with copper wire. This caused a shortage. The trip charge went towards the bill and overall I paid less than expected. They gave me some recommendations what should be done in the future to make my home more secure and less likely to have a power outage through overload again. I was really happy, that they discussed the issue professional. They broke the problem down in several smaller jobs, so it stayed in my budget. Two weeks later I had the second part done and in October I will have them do the third part of the job. Overall a great company who works with you and your budget. Thank you Swenson Electric

Description of Work: I will definitely call Guy Swenson again for my future electrical needs.

Description of Work: Main breaker was fried, and some of the bus behind it. It was a legacy breaker. Others would have replaced the whole box; Guy was able to find a replacement breaker, and inverted the bus to put the damage where it didn't matter, to save my replacing that. He communicates well, and knows his trade very well.

Description of Work: I had two homes that needed electrical problem resolutions. Guy showed up on time and quickly made the repair to the fountain electrical system. He then met me at my other home and QUICKLY resolved my electrical problem there that appeared to be at the power box outside. He also made some suggestions regarding where the mircrowave and toaster oven should be placed for proper electrical usage. He wasted no time. I plan on using his company for future electrical needs. His fees were reasonable.

Description of Work: CASEY AND DAVE CHECKED ELECTRIC CIRCUITS THAT WEREN'T WORKING AND REPLACED MY OUTSIDE DOOR BELL. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I'VE CALLED SWENSON TO DO ELECTRICAL WORK IN MY HOME, AND AGAIN IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT THEY EXPLAIN WHAT THEY'RE DOING AND WHY AND ANSWER MY QUESTIONS, EVEN IF THEY DON'T PERTAIN TO THE WORK BEING DONE. Description of Work: Some of the electrical outlets in our backyard were not providing electricity. I called Swenson Electic and decribed the problem and asked if they could come out and fix the problem. Guy Swenson suggested I "reset" the GFI, which he explained could be found in the bathroom, garage, or on one of the outlets in the backyard, and then check to see if that fixed the problem. And if it did not, to call him back. It fixed the problem! It was kind and gracious of him to give us the information we needed to correct the problem. And to think how much money we saved by not having someone come out to our home! Thanks so much, Guy.
