All roofing companies were very busy due to the monsoon rains. Texted photos of some of the missing tiles to Melissa, after several days she came to walk the roof to give me an estimate of the additional work. After several phone calls the job was completed a week and a half later for a little bit less than the original estimate. The other roofing company, Ky-Ko, after numerous phone calls and stalling for a month and a half, never called back to say that my work had been scheduled like they promised.

Melissa is very professional, and you know by talking with her she knows roofing!! I was amazed that she could remember facts about the roof issues after seeing it only one time. | | She was upfront with us when she said there is no way to know how bad the decking was until she was down to that layer. We knew that the flat roof needed to have improved drainage and new foam. We were all blown away with the terrible views we saw after all the old layers were removed. All the decking had to be removed. Much of it was a mass of old splintered wood. Evidence of old leaks were seen. Melissa did use a subcontractor to remove the old roofing and there was damage to the skylight plastered areas. Melissa paid for the repairs without hesitation. She also made sure the area was cleaned up well after the work was finished. She even hauled off my ton of cardboard moving boxes which was a big help! | |One of my sons has just used Melissa & SUNSET VALLEYWIDE ROOFING for their new beautiful roof. Melissa called me directly to schedule the initial visit. Upon inspection of the roof, and identification of the source of the leak, we agreed she would come back at a later date to perform the repairs. For both visits, Melissa was a pleasure to work with, performed quality work, and I would hire her again. She didn't try to up sell me on unnecessary repairs and gave me a couple of options for fixing my leak. I'm very happy to know I have a trusted roofing contractor that I can go to for any future issues.

Melissa showed up promptly and is very friendly. Did an inspection and found issues with the work done from the other roofing company. She sealed up some areas and helped prevented more leaks. Just had a decent rain and see no leaks (knock on wood). I am very impressed and Melissa called this morning to ensure I had no leaks. Will definitely use again!!

We had a leak in an addition to our house. All of the contractors that looked at it said it was in the flat roof. Melissa came and did a great job applying the waterproof coating on the roof. To our surprise, it rained a couple days later and there was still water coming in. Melissa felt so bad that we paid to fix the roof and it wasn't the roof that was leaking, so she spent several hours the next day helping us find the source of the leak (no other contractor volunteered to do that). It ended up being an extremely long screw holding up one of the gutters. Now that everything is patched on the outside of the house, Melissa knows a carpenter that will be helping us replace the rotted wood on the inside. She was incredibly helpful and went the extra mile! She always answers her phone and works weekends. Her prices were reasonable and she didn't try to push replacing the whole roof like some of the other roofers we consulted did. I would definitely recommend her!

They came out and looked at the roof and gave us written quote by email. They did excellent work, cleaned up after the job, and performed the work in the time estimated. Very friendly as well.
