Tom and his worker were quick and showed up on time!! Patched up a leak, cleaned up the roof as well as drywall repair!!! Everything was done in a professional manner and his pricing was not a bombshell to my wallet!!

Thomas was polite and punctual and he so friendly. He did everything he said he would and did it when he said he would. I can’t say enough good things about Shield Contracting. And his pricing was very competitive and fair. You will not be disappointed.

Thomas was very responsive. He got our job done quickly. After a week there were a couple things that we wanted touched up, he was out the very next day to take care of all of it. It was great working with them!

No need to look any further for a painter...hire Thomas! He's a ten in our book. Communication was great, the work excellent, no billing surprises and he did lots of extras with no additional charge. We got four estimates. Thomas' was HALF of two of them and pretty comparable to another one. He was a pleasure to work with! 

Thomas and his team were first rate. He explained his proposal carefully, and our 1943 Guemes Island home has never looked better. This involved more than just cosmetic work. Deferred repairs were made, as well as having the house completely repainted in three colors. Tidy work too. Our family is so pleased.

Actually, I would rate this experience a 10 on a scale of 1-5. Thomas and the crew were fantastic. They worked hard, did little extras that needed doing at no extra charge and were pleasant the whole time. They were more expensive than another bid I got, but they were well worth every penny. I'm bragging about them to all my friends.

Honest, on time, good quality work

To truly judge quality I need to see if I have leaks when it rains. At my age I cannot get up on the roof to inspect.

The owner Tom did a lot of the work and was always concerned with the quality and advised me about other needs that I was not aware some of which I added to the job and others he advised were to be watched for future action not necessary to be done now.

After initially choosing another contractor, which did not work out, we went with Thomas and consider ourselves fortunate indeed. He was responsive, prompt, fairly priced and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

Hiring roofing companies can be risky. Thomas was extremely informative and detailed. I felt he was being honest and presented me with options and associated pros/cons. Great job!

My question to this guy was...You must not be from around here...Not only did he show up promptly when avaible he saved my hiney when the other guys didnt show and was 2 hours from a major rain storm AWESOME!! Typically i dont review companys... only the BS ones.... when they do the job thier suppose however Shield Contracting gets the perfect 10 star rating. Thier the top of my top 5 Thanks guys

They were pros about the options that I had and they explained how long it would take. At the time of a bad situation with the Virus closing down businesses they got the job done in a timely manner.

Thomas is one of the most professional people I ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Very easy to talk to, tells you everything that s going on with the project. Would give him 10 stars if I could. Highly recommended!!!

Thomas was most sympathetic to our delima and bent over backwards to help with our roof leak. He did a masterful job and after a downpour of biblical proportions, there wasn't a trace of leakage. Kudos to Shield Contracting. That are tops on our list. He even patched up the ceiling in the kitchen that had leaked previously.
