I have worked with Ken the owner and his crew before and knew of the fine work they perform. I was and am very impressed with this company and I have no reason to go anywhere else for flooring needs. And I learned that they don't just do hardwood but other kinds of flooring materials too.

We shopped around and this is a top notch business, who quotes the job without a long list of additional charges. Top quality list of onhand products and colors to choose. Communication is excellent and team was on time. The installers are awesome and take the extra step to correctly finish the edge as it meets the tile.

All contact with them was positive from the time I walked in to their store and scheduled a measure. They were on time for the measure and worked with me on the price. They were able to schedule the install that accommodated my schedule and completed it within the time frame that was stated in the contract. The workers were extremely good and worked basically non-stop for three days. The results turned out awesome and I am very happy with the work. I would highly recommend them anytime.

We visited the showroom of Flooring America Scottsdale to view carpet samples and chose two samples to take home. After returning the samples, we made our choice and an appointment for the measure and estimate was made, We received a call to let us know the gentleman would be a bit late getting to our home for the measure, and he arrived and proceeded to measure and make recommendations. We chose the style and weight of carpet and padding for the wall to wall installation. He made some recommendations regarding the bound area carpet, and we agreed to those. We received the company's drawings, notes and estimate via e-mail. The estimate was a bit difficult to understand, so we communicated back and forth to be certain all the details were correct and the project totals made sense. After some back-and-forth the estimate and invoice were made more clear and accurate. We received the Angie's List Discount. The company requires 50 percent down on a job such as ours. The installers came at the appointed time; a bit earlier, actually, but that wasn't a problem. There were one or two items we still had to move out of their way. The two gentlemen were courteous and professional. We had things moved and beds broken down so the time they spent moving things was minimal. At the outset they realized the type and amount of carpet they had with them did not agree with the drawings. After communicating with the store, they said not to worry, the job would be done that day as they would arrange to pick up the balance of carpet required. Comparing it to other carpet jobs we have contracted for, this one went smoothly and as expected after the balance of carpet was brought in. The installers swept the carpet after the installation and took away all unwanted scraps and used materials. Included in the price were the measure, old carpet removal and haul-away, and installation. There were no add-ons except those we asked for: binding the area carpet and upgraded pad. When we made final payment, we had to ask for a receipt for same.

They were incredibly professional and friendly. Their sales are not pushy at all. In fact, they have a central desk in the sales floor for you to easily go find someone at all times when you want them but they leave you alone when you need to think or discuss about options. I was pleasantly surprised. Their contract is easy. Their free site visit provided an accurate quote, allowed further questions, and guaranteed accurate measurements. Their delivery and installation was a few days ahead of schedule and so we got our carpet in much earlier than expected. The price was right and they moved everything in the room out, removed the old carpet and pad, installed the new, and then replaced all furniture right back into the room as it was. Highly recommend.

There were two salespeople sitting at the desk and no one in the store. I asked for help finding a tile. The saleperson said it was dispersed throughout the store. I asked again where do I look for the tile. She said.. "like I told you, it's dispersed throughout the store" . She said this to me twice in about 60 seconds very condescendingly. The other salesperson sat there staring into her computer laughing. I asked if she could tell me the next nearest location and she couldn't.

Contact with Scottsdale Flooring was excellent from the start. Tory was super helpful in narrowing down selection. He answered all my questions and was very patient when I had to slow down the commitment while I went on vacation. I had to make three trips to the showroom all my doing. When Ed came out to measure the house he was little abrupt and probably was only here about 5-10 minutes. The date was scheduled and the installers arrived right on time. They kept me posted on their arrival expectation. the three installers were here all day. Very pleasant and helpful with all my questions. They did a great job and cleaned up afterwards leaving all the furniture in the proper place. The store followed up afterwards with a phone call and a nice thank you for the business note. I would definitely recommend them to someone else. Melissa was excellent in handling the billing and responded to my requests and questions with a very professional attitude.

The sales staff was very helpfull, the estimate was very competitive and the product along with the installation was the best I've seen in my 25 years as a general contractor.

It was a very pleasant experience overall. There were issues with our sub floor and we were not physically in the city to oversee but the telephone conversations to remedy the situation were very timely and had a 100% positive outcome.

Started off on time, removed old tile, covered up (new) cabinets, layed new tile (numerous cuts) with great attention to detail. Overall, professional, punctual....absolutely no problems. Would use again and/or recommend.

They did an excellent job at a fair price and did it on the schedule they agreed to. They removed the heavy furniture and placed where I wanted it when they were done. I would recommend then to anyone that needed a new carpet

The whole experience went well. The condo is not our primary residence, we live in the Chicago area, we arranged the initial meeting over the phone for a weekend that we re going to be in Scottsdale. The sales person (Todd) met us as planned at the condo for an estimate at the agreed upon time. The estimate was very thorough , he asked several questions about the transitions between the different flooring surfaces and offered suggestions on how to best handle them. The next day we met with him at the store to select the carpeting, he and his associates in the store were very helpful assisting my wife and I in selecting a carpet in our price range that would look good with the wall paint and leather furniture we had already decided on. The installation went well also, the installers showed up on the agreed upon date and time and did a very nice job.

We spoke with a knowledgable representative in the store and were directed to floor samples to look at. We chose three that we liked and were given sample to take to the house and look at them on site. We also had tile damage so someone came to the house to evaluate the extent of the damage. The representative evaluated the tile and made recommendations on which tiles needed to come out and which could stay ( some of the damage was underneath the tiles and not visually obvious). We took their advice and set a time to have the work done. All our contacts with various representatives of the company were positive. The works was done as scheduled and the house looks great.

I had a great experience with Scottsdale Flooring America. The showroom was well organized, clean, and full of extremely helpful staff. They were friendly and spent a lot of time with me discussing the pros and cons to each kind of carpet, brand reliability, pad options, warranty information, etc. They let me take home as many samples as I wanted and scheduled an appointment for someone to come measure my space the next day. When Ed came to measure my rooms he was prompt, friendly, and professional. He explained how he would place the carpeting and seams in each room and utilized every possible piece of cut carpet (I have some weird angles in my rooms) to keep costs down. He was happy to take the sample boards I had borrowed back to the store to save me a trip. After talking with my family, we decided to install a stainmaster carpet and I called Scottsdale Flooring America on a Tuesday to place the order. The carpet was in stock in California, and Melissa had an opening for installation that Saturday. Perfect! Melissa emailed me the contract and took payment by credit card over the phone so I didn't have to go all the way back to the showroom. She said the installers would arrive between 9 and 10am on Saturday morning. On Saturday morning at 9:05, my doorbell rang. Kevin and Josh were prompt, professional, and very friendly. They moved the heavy furniture that I couldn't handle myself, removed all of the old carpeting and pad, installed a new pad and my new beautiful carpet, and replaced all the furniture. They even helped me put a bed skirt back on a box spring before setting down the mattress! They vacuumed multiple times, cleaned up after themselves completely, and hauled away all the old carpet/pad. I had some things to do Saturday and felt completely comfortable leaving them alone in my house for hours at a time. Overall, my experience with Scottsdale Flooring America was wonderful!

The staff at the show room was great. Todd let me take several of the samples with me so I could lay them out in my home. He even was able to arrange to have a measurement taken on a Sunday. The installation went very smoothly. The workers quickly took out all of the old carpet, installed floors and cleaned up after themselves. The tile and wood installation took one full day and a few hours on the following day and the carpet was installed in less than a day. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend.

I found the company on Angies List and the salesman came to the property several days later with samples. The tenant and I picked the carpet to install and it was competed within a week. The tenant is very happy with the quality of the carpet and installation. They accept credit cards and I made a deposit, then paid off the job when it was completed.
