Good job

I was surprised that Sal's prices were as high as they were. He did a great job overall. I would use them again. I would as recommend them to anyone needing a handyman.

The job was supposed to take 1 week but it ended up taking 3 weeks. The tile looks great, but he wouldn't take the carpet he pulled out with him and he never cleaned the grout for the tile. There were a couple of occasions in which he didn't show up on time. I asked him when the work would be done since it was taking so long and he said that if I didn't like the work he was doing he would leave. It was a miserable experience and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone.

He called me back and we set up an appointment for today between 8-9 am and he hasn't come out or called. Maybe something happened to him, I don't know, but he should have called me.

We are very impressed with Sal. We searched for a person to work with us and the house over the long haul. Sal answered that call. We were only on site for the project the first three days; so, we gave him the key. That says it all. He maintained great communication throughout the project. His artistry is strong; designed the "transition" between the older travertine and the new and the actual layout pattern. The floor is beautiful! He will begin three other projects next week.

Sal is a very friendly and professional man. We were very happy with the work that he did, and we so grateful how easy and quickly he completed the task. It only took him a half of an hour to take care of both projects. He was more than reasonable on what he charged us.

I called to schedule repair of a pocket door and promptly received a call back. The work was scheduled for a week later. Sal did not show up, when I called to find out what happened he said he had it scheduled for the following week. I acknowledged that I might have gotten the date wrong and said the following week was fine. He failed to show up the next week and has never returned my call to find out what happened.

I contacted Sal because of the rave reviews on Angie's List. I was impressed by how everyone said he was so prompt, fairly priced & thorough. I had Sal bid the work and he was not the least expensive but I wanted him to do the work because I felt he would do a good job. He did not return my calls promptly but when he did call he said that he was too busy to take the job for at least 5 weeks. He called the next day and said his schedule had changed. I had already had 3 other handymen out but again went with his reviews. He did not send me the estimate when he said he would instead he sent a short email saying that the job that had backed out was back on and he could get to me in April. This was very upsetting because we had discussed at length how critical it was for my work to be done as soon as possible. I just think all of you should know that despite numerous rave reviews, this was a case where he did not conduct himself in a way that was courteous or professional.

Sal returned our call promptly and was able to schedule a time to come out and give us an estimate within a couple of days. When we discussed repairing the fence as opposed to replacing it, he gave us a break-own in costs for both options as well as his recommendation given the condition of our fence and the relatively little cost savings. He provided us with the written estimate we asked for and he follow-up via e-mail. We didn't end up using Sal because we got a cheaper estimate from someone else but were very pleased with Sal's promptness and professionalism. I think we will call him again for other work.

Took three call-backs before the toilet worked and probably cost more than it should have if it had been done right the first time.

Came out for an estimate. Returned calls promptly. Arrived with all necessary supplies when he said he would. Courteous and efficient.

Sal is a very pleasant, and hard working person. He kept his work area as clean as possible always. He was a day late starting work, as a result of car trouble. I wish he had notified me he wouldn't be there that day. I am very happy with the completed job. My husband had a slight mis-understanding, and was surprised that the original bid of $1,400. didn't include Sal's materials and special tool rental (Jack-hammer for base of cement pillars).

Sal did exactly what he said he would do. No surprises, and in fact went beyond the call of duty by purchasing molding and installing on most door frames to improve door fit.

Sal was great and I will hire him to do other jobs.

I had 4 people on the list, and he was the quickest to respond. He was neat and clean, spoke clearly and explained his work before he did it and cleaned up after himself.

HE'S SUCH AN HONEST MAN. YOU CAN LEAVE HIM IN YOUR HOME ALONE WITHOUT WORRY. EVERY JOB HE HAS DONE FOR ME HAS BEEN EXCELLENT.
