Overall I'd rate this service as outstanding.

Called Neely Electric and spoke w Bud Neely and he said he was in the area and would stop right away-- He had the switch needed in his vehicle and fixed the circuit breaker switch immediately. Only charged me a minimal amount.. Was so very pleasant. I have this company on the highly recommended list for the neighborhood now.... Excellent service

1. Wiring had been damaged when a pair of packrats moved in, but the problems didn't occur until well after I trapped the critters out, so we didn't make the connection. The circuit in question had multiple 3-way switches and it was too much even for a relatively handy homeowner to sort out. Bud and Bob had the problem isolated in an hour and fixed in two, even though our nearly 90-year old house presented a few unusual puzzles. 2. Our 3-room freestanding 1920s garage had never been appropriately wired for lights and outlets. Bud and Bob provided an elegant low-cost solution, and also added a new circuit to the kitchen to serve an additional freezer. It was a quick and painless project, and we enjoyed working with them.

He did an excellent job and paid really good attention to detail. His price was good and it was really good value. He did some troubleshooting for me. He found some old lines from previous owner’s home that were incorrectly installed. He took all of those out so that I wouldn’t have any code issues. He corrected anything that needed to be corrected. They were great to work with. He is very punctual. He came in a lot lower on the quote compared to others that I got quotes from. He actually came in below budget when he finished the job. I wanted to get the job started sooner than he could get out here, but he had other jobs scheduled. He tried to fit me in as soon as he could.

He did not just come and attempt to squeeze us for everything and get us to do a lot of unnecessary work. He came in and did one thing and on the other stuff he suggested that we take time to decide what we want. He made some good suggestions. We had a good feeling about him. He came within hours. The service was good and we felt good about what he did. He was a great guy and we will call him when we get more electrical work done.

The repair was very simple, but other electricians had failed to find the problem and had instead charged a lot of money to do things that were of no use. This repair did the trick and we paid only the minimum fee for a house visit.

When I spoke to Bud Neely he was not only friendly but professional and very clear about when he could come; when I met him in person I felt very confident that he knew what he was doing and was reasonably priced. He showed me the problem with the electrical box and what the solution was so I could understand. If I ever need electrical work again, this is the company I will use.

Bud arrived ontime and was very pleasant to work with. He found the short and repaired the problem.

Great, came out when promised. I was closing on a house and Bud came out in a hurry and took care of it.

Owner spent 2-1/2 hours trying to locate wiring that had shorted on my line that contained GFI outlets. I had shorted the line using a hotplate. Owner himself unable to locate and fix problem (no charge!) and arranged for another electrician with more sophisticated equipment. That electrician spent the better part of two days locating the approximate location where the load and the ground wires had melted together. Electrician changed out breaker at box, added a new dual 15-amp breaker, added two new four-gang outlets to the garage where a GFI outlet should have been.

They diagnosed the problem. They were absolutely wonderful and took care of things over the phone. They were just great! We'll use them again in the future.

Even though it was Sunday, Bud offered to head straight over to have a look. He found what had caused the short, and replaced the outlet. But in checking to make sure everything was okay, he discovered a problem with the ground. He fixed that problem too, and things have been working great. I strongly recommend Neely Electric.

Wow! I really like these guys. Great service, conscientious and communicative, and excellent work. Bud came out and walked the job with me... and helped me develop some creative solutions to how to approach a challenging installation project. He gave me a very competitive estimate and even encouraged me to price-compare his bid. They performed the work on Friday, EVERYTHING to my expectations... and I am very particular. Thoroughly cleaned up after their work, and removed all excess materials. He even came in about 10% under the price he had quoted me. All around a great experience.... have many more projects coming up and will definately use these guys again.

The day I called Neely Electric the owner came to our home to see what parts would be needed. Two days later the job was complete. We were very pleased with the prompt, professional, reasonably priced, and pleasant service.

Bud was prompt and professional in the bidding process. His knowlegde and suggestions were appreciated and utilized. We had called other contractors for bids, but Neely out performed the others. They were on time as promised, their bid was competitive, and Bud's years of experience won the contract. We have extensive experience with contractors that do not deliver what they promise. It was very refreshing to have the work done in a professional manner whose final price came in under the bid. We would highly recommend Neely Electric to anyone looking for experience, excellence, and a fair price.

The experience could not have been more pleasent! Mr. Neely was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced!! We were nervous that our home might need much more of an electrical overhaul but Mr. Neely fixed our problems in no time while describing to my husband and I exactly what the issues were. We've never had such a positive service experience! We will definitely use him again and are relieved to have found someone we feel we can trust!

Bud Neely came out twice to complete the work because I didn't have all the required electrical. The majority of the job was installing the recessed lighting. He worked diligently with me to establish the best locations for the recessed lighting and did an excellent job of aligning the lights as to equal spacing and to miss ceiling rafters and to make sure they were square with the walls and each other. He installed all 16 lights in the kitchen/eating area and above the kitchen working areas. His high school age son helped him to make the job go a little faster. He knew what he was doing and didn't waste any time. He was very pleasant to work with. I was very pleased the outcome and I am going to use him again shortly. The day after I submitted the above report I scheduled Bob Neely to come and do another small wiring job. We set it up for the next day at 10:00-10:30 AM. The location of the job was 35 miles from my home. On the day that he was scheduled, I waited until about 11:00AM because he hadn't shown up. I called him to see where he was since he was a little late. He asked if I had heard the message he had left me on my home message machine that morning. His message said that he was not happy with the evaluation of a "B" for Price that I had given for his prior work and he wasn't planning to do any more work for me. He had my cell phone number and should have made sure I got his message before my driving 35 miles to the location of the job. I thought he charged me a fair price but nothing outstanding and that's why I gave him a "B" rating for price. I am incredulous to think that a contractor would have the arrogance to look at his evaluation and think that a good rating would be so offensive to him that he chose not to show up for the next job. His "Professionalism" rating has now being changed to a "D".

He is very friendly and willing to explain what was going on with the circuit breakers. He also gave us advice on some other electrical questions we asked him about. We won't hesitate to hire him again.

He does excellent work. He is a friendly guy. He wants to make your satisfied before he leaves. I have recommended him too many others.

It went very well. Though this was my third ceiling fan installation, this was the first time I needed professional help. I ran in to some wiring problems, called Neely Electric in the morning, and Mr. Neely was able to come over that afternoon. He not only finished the installation, but explained how to deal with the problems I encountered. I will definitely call Neely Electric again.

Mr. Neely worked us in between his other appointments and showed up the next day right on schedule. He located the problem in less than 30 mins and the fix was simply that one circuit breaker had been mis-labeled due to a room remodel. Although the solution appeared trivial - it confounded our electrical contractor. Mr. Neely also presents himself very professionally and in good humor! Strongly recommend.

Mr. Bud Neely was very professional and helpful in performing the electrical service. He performed a check of the ground and found that the house was grounded in 3 places and then replaced a breaker in the breaker box. He checked GFCI outlets in the kitchen/dining area to make sure they were correct and was very helpful in recommendations. I would not hesitate to have Mr. Bud Neely perform additional electrical services at my residence.

I contacted Bud,he came round,sized up the job,and gave me an estimate of $315.00.I finished paying only $250.00.I have never had better service or expertise than this.VERY HIGLY RECOMMENDED!
