My Computer Works

Company lied about time frame. I was told 1pm, not 1-4pm. Called for an update and treated like crap. Only thing worse than the company are it’s employees.

I had scheduled for the work to be started on Monday morning at 8am. The tech never showed up and didn't call to cancel. I called the company to find out what happened and they were not aware that the tech had not arrived. The tech finally called at 3pm and acted as if he was not meant to be working today. He asked questions that had already been answered and detailed to My Computer Works. He kept thinking the work was for an office building when it was clearly stated this was a residential home. I called My Computer Works the next day to complain and get another technician in to complete the work and the customer care agent told me she would "call me right back after getting this sorted out. That was Tuesday. It is now Friday and I get a random call from another technician telling me he has been assigned to complete my work. There is a clear disconnect between the company and the technicians with no regard for the customer's schedule. Horrible service.

After running a diagnostics program on the first laptop needed to recover my files and reinstall the operating system. The second needed a little more work replaced wifi card and bad memory stick, then reinstalled operating system. I was very happy with the overall cost and the professionalism of the Techs.

When I called to schedule service, I suggested it should be in the morning because it is very hot in my attic in the afternoon. They insisted on scheduling it the following afternoon. When the technician arrived, he scoped out the project and said it was too hot in the attic. It took two days to get through to someone to reschedule the service and when they did, we scheduled it for the following morning. The technician never showed up. Nobody called. Nobody answered the phone. I gave up and found a different solution.

Original repairman never showed up and no one called me. After I had some of the work done by someone else a repairman called and said he could come and fix my password problem. He came did the job in under an hour. I was told I would only be charged for that job. Then left. But I was charged the full $300 price. I have tried repeatedly to contact the company, but no one has ever returned my calls. Very unhappy

I live in California, the computer (laptop) I needed someone to look at was in Nevada, about an hour outside of Las Vegas, it was for my brother in law. I called and talked to Mike, told him what the problem was that needed to be corrected and to do a basic overall computer cleaning, I agreed to his price, Gave him the address of the computer and a phone number., agreed on a time and date. all was set. On the date and time someone named Richard had called my brother in law to see if it was still ok to drive and do the work,( I guess Richard was coming from Las Vegas area an hour away), brother in law said yes. that was at 7:30 AM for a 10:00 AM show time. Brother in law text Richard back after 10:30 AM to see what was going on, he did not get a reply. In the meantime, I was a sleep in California and someone had called me, since I didn't answer no one showed up at my brother in laws ???? I called Mike back got an answering machine, someone was suppose to call me back, still waiting after 5 days. Received an email survey on how things went, I scored them low and got a reply saying someone would contact me, still waiting on that also. I called and talked to the tech who was suppose to go to fix the computer and we made arrangement for him to go the following day. He did show up but only fixed the dual screen and a printer issue, and was gone. No computer basic cleaning or system diagnosis. An hour later my brother in law called and said he had a virus on his computer with a loud sound and someone wanting money to fix the issue. I told him to turn off his computer for awhile, and turn it back on, virus seem to have left for the moment

Absolutely the worse customer service I have ever experienced. After working on my system for several hours the technician left my system worse than when he arrived. It was a weak signal when he started and intermittent when he left.......falling completely off line throughout the entire home. However, that’s not even the worse part. They never returned my repeated phone calls to discuss the final charge.....full charge for their visit was charged to my credit card without any discussion about them leaving my system unusable and by far worse than when they arrived. Certainly not a “satisfaction guaranteed” organization....... they only finally sent me an email when i filed a complaint with the better business bureau and that response was basically too bad that’s the charge with no comment about the system being worse than when they first crossed my threshold. Prospective customers beware........this type of service make Angies List look bad and i will be filing a complaint with them as well.

He rectified my problem immediately and did additional work which would help expedite my computer works.

It went very well. It was expensive, the tech was a little late. However after working on my computer for 4 hours I think I got my money’s worth. I’ll know if there are still problems in the days & weeks ahead, but I can call on them if anything more comes up.

actually I thought I was mistaken when I saw an Arizona address, went to anothr company. But My Comptuer was kind enough to call, and assure me that they have people in my area.

Cleaned up the hard drive and installed Win 10 Pro. Tuned up the install to my needs and all has worked well since.

Work went great, only problem was that my PC took a special power cord that the contractor didn't have. My error not his as I have experienced the problem before and didn't remember it.

They were right on-time for my Husband and knowledgeable.

4 hrs & $250 later it appeared as though the job was done. As it turns out it was not done correctly and I am in the same boat w/o the procedure to properly transfer my photos to an external hard drive. The representative was very nice but lacked enough knowledge of Apple and , his experience was more in tune with commercial accounts. We were not a good match.

Very pleased with service and efficient response time.

The man you sent didn't know much about setting up ... got it done for about a week and then came back to what it was the original problem. So now I am not using my suround system at all. Just using the tv alone.

After several hours of work they completed successfully. Theyhave monthly service for $39/month wich is what Isigned up for . Seems a bit steep for me but I did it anyway.
