The owner is very good about coming out first to go over everything. The owner himself was good about coming back out to do some final touches. His pricing was good and fair.

We interviewed different companies before undertaking a complete restoration of our saltillo tile floors. We asked Dave and his team to do a complete stripping and hand refinishing of approximately 700 square feet of tile. Dave gave us a thorough and complete education about different methods of refinishing our floors. We chose to do a complete stripping and coloring of our floors before several coats of sealer and topcoat. Dave and his team were meticulous in their work. He was available for all questions prior to the job, and he actively supervised his workers during the job. Dave approached the refinishing process with the attention of a professional. Our floors look beautiful, and we are quite sure that they will serve us for many more years. We now can see the true beauty of these tiles.

THRU THE YEARS, I'VE FOUND THAT MAINTAINING A SALTILLO FLOOR TAKES MORE CARE THAN OTHER TILE FLOORS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DAVE RICHARDSON AND HIS PROFESSIONAL CREW FOR RESTORING AND MAINTAINING SALTILLO TILE. I'D DEFINITELY CONSULT WITH DAVE FOR HIS OPINION ABOUT FLOOR CARE AND WOULD USE HIS SERVICES AGAIN.

Great experience. We bought a new house that had a beautiful Mexican tile installation which had not been cared for properly. There were many spots where the tiles were chipped or discolored, and if it weren't for the fact that the floor had so many expensive accent tiles, we probably would have ripped the entire floor out. Enter Dave and Eric. Notwithstanding a busy schedule, Dave scheduled our job during the weekend following our conversation, which happened to be Father's Day weekend. He and Eric showed up when they said they would and set about the work of making our floor look great. Dave noted that cleaning the floor was the easy part--anybody could do that. But what came after they cleaned was sheer artistry. They methodically filled and colored each and every hole in the tile. In the kitchen, where excessive oil had left blotches in the cleaned tiles, Dave applied a and quot;fauxand quot; finish that made the tiles look fabulous. They applied numerous finish coats that have allowed the floors to survive our moving in process and my incessant furniture moving habit. Dave and Eric were congenial, hard-working, and quite pleasant to have around the house. Although they could have finished on the day before Father's Day, they thought the job would be done better if they worked on Father's Day morning. People who had seen the floors before and after the restoration couldn't believe the transformation. We plan to have Dave maintain the floors as he recommended. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dave and Eric to perform their restoration magic on your floors.

One thing that I have mixed emotions about ... I was here at home while the work was being done. Apparently, one of my picture frames fell off the wall while the crew was working. They picked it up, noticed that the glass didn't crack and thought that all was okay ... So they put the picture on a counter ... and didn't even tell me about it even though I was here at the house. I didn't notice the picture frame until the next day as I was moving furniture back into place. That's when I saw that the glass was ok, but the frame itself was cracked in several places. I was a bit peeved that they didn't even mention it to me even though I was at the house. I talked to the owner Dave, and he apologized profusely. He even came by the house, picked up the framed picture and went out and got a brand new one that was almost an exact match as the one that was broken. So, I would have deducted two stars from the crews professionalism for breaking the picture and not telling me about it, but I added the two stars back for Dave going out of his way to pick up the picture and find a replacement frame for us all in the space of a day or two. We didn't have to worry about running to a framing store or Anything like that ourselves. Dave took really good care of us. Good job!

Dave is very responsive, very accurate and communicative about time and deadlines and estimates. He is an artist. If I can figure out how to post a before/after picture, the picture will tell you everything.

I cannot begin to describe what a fantastic job Mexican Tile Restoration did on my 19-year old saltillo tile floor. It looks incredible -- like a brand new floor! I never thought my floors could look this good again. Several years ago, I had my floors refinished by another well-known company specializing in saltillo tile refinishing, but I was very disappointed with the results. So, I was doubtful that my saltillo could be restored. Dave (the owner) promised me that they would look like new, and he delivered. I cannot believe how beautiful my saltillo tile looks all throughout the house. All of the employees were so nice, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. I whole-heartedly recommend Mexican Tile Restoration, and I will definitely use them again.

It was a two man crew. They had the job done in one day. Twenty minutes after he was done I could walk on the floor. He was really knowledgeable about tiles. The tiles were spotless after he was done. They look brand new. He was very respectful of my house. I would use his services again in the future.

They haven't done anything, yet. I got an estimate; the work won't go on for some time. I had no problems or issues with them; am just waiting till I have the money to do it. They quoted me $1000 to replace 20 to 30 tiles.

This went well. The company was here on time and was able to do the work in one full day. The cracks are still somewhat visible but much improved and we are satisfied. The floor looks really good.

THEY WERE A LITTLE MESSY APPLYING THE TILE BASEBOARD, BUT THEIR ATTENTION TO DETAIL WAS VERY IMPRESSIVE. DAVE TOOK THE TIME TO CALL, MANY TIMES, TO WORK WITH MY SCHEDULE. NICE JOB.
