My experience was very interesting. Their store is sectionalized. So they have a section that has dozens. and dozens, and dozens of refrigerators. That's their section. So we went there and we spent 15 or 20 minutes just walking around that section ourselves looking at all of the refrigerators. Then finally we said you know, for our needs this one seems to be the best model for the best price. Let's get this one. Great. So now that we have finally picked it out, now we are looking for a sales person and there's no one around. So we had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes. Finally I went to another section and I said can you page a sales person for me. At that point we were very annoyed, but the lady paged a sales person. Then in about 5 minutes the salesperson got there and then he was marvelous. Then everything was great from that point on. We had to wait quite a while before we got service. Once we got service it was fabulous. I liked most about the salesperson that he was knowledgeable, helpful, what else can I say. The appliance was available. The delivery and installation was excellent. They delivered it and installed it the next day, which was wonderful. They were quick and efficient. They didn't charge anything. It was very well done. When you get something like that, nothing is as simple as you think it would be. Most refrigerators now and day, better quality refrigerators, have ice makers. So you have to connect the water line so that it can make ice. Well wouldn't you know it, we wanted out refrigerator in the spot where there wasn't a water line. So they had to go to where the water line was and then run a line extension to where we wanted the refrigerator. Which they did free of charge. No complaints. No problems. They just did it quickly, efficiently, pleasantly, they were done, the refrigerator is fabulous, we were delighted with everything. The only problem was initially waiting on a sales person, which that's not a big deal. The store is air conditioned. The price was good. We know that for a fact, because we shopped around online and the price was excellent. We were so pleased, we had our flooring done with another company, we were that company fans. This was such a nice and pleasant experience, I think the other company lost a customer. Now we are fans of Lowe's.

Lowes is a bit disorganized. They tend to argue with refunds, even with the receipt present. About 2 weeks ago they sent me a refund card by mail that had no indication of the amount of the refund. When I went in to the store and asked them to tell me the amount of the refund, they ran the card and said that the balance was zero and that they didn't know why I got the card. They referred me to customer service and after waiting for 30 minutes and being transferred all over the place, I got a recording that said that Customer Service was closed. Don't think I will shop there unless necessary.

We were promised an install date 6 weeks out, after never hearing back from them, We had to call Lowes. We were told that because they were custom we would have to wait longer. 6 months later almost all my windows were installed. We noticed a crack in one of the tripple pane windows and are still waiting on call back to find out when that will be replaced. We have left numerous messages and have never heard back from the sales rep.

I just looked them up and they had a provider. It was contracted through Lowe's and they weren't very good. I had my tenant's do the fence work and I just paid for it. My tenants liked the fence and I told them just to use Lowe's. They had to redo the first part of their job. They did not consider the application when they installed the fence. It just took a longtime for Lowe's to get stuff ordered and they also had trouble following up with the contractor. They actually worked with me and got everything sorted out at the end. They actually called me after I threatened them to reverse my credit charges.

Could not have gone better. Removed old toilet, cleaned grout from tile under the toilet, installed new ball socket turn-off valve, installed new toilet, installed new sealant between new toilet and tile floor. No leaks. Was very informative on what he was doing during the installation.

The cost was about $3,000 for materials and labor. They had an exclusive pattern that we really liked and ended up choosing for the floors. They finished the job in mostly one day. Someone came out the next day to do some trim work that only took about 2 hours. There is a one year warranty on the job and it seems to look good so far.

I was contacted by 2 managers and both were polite and quickly fixed the issue. The salesperson misled us and we ended up with blinds that looked like jail windows. The number of and quot;laddersand quot; (vertical support) was much larger than what the in-store display and the saesperson (Lynne) led us to believe. She later admitted that they changed their sales practice after our problem. In addition, blinds of the same width came with an inconsistent number of ladders. One blind was actually faulty with the support string not passed in the hole in the center of the blade but on the outside of it. Altogether, the product was below standard, quality assurance was inexistant and the whole project was far from professionally done. A sales manager came to see for himself in our house and admitted to all the flaws. He offered to and quot;make ir rightand quot;. However, when came the time to select replacement blinds of a better quality to avoid these problems, Lowes reneged on their word and asked for additional funds to complete the replacement job. They blatantly used a bait-and-switch approach to silence us. I WILL NEVER USE LOWES AGAIN - THEY ARE BAD NEWS Saleperson: Lynne Manager: Steve Layman

I need a ceiling fan replaced. I went to Lowe's and decided to use their service for the insatllation. Since the existing fan wobbles I suspected that more than just a swap out might be needed. Some extra work or part replacement in the ceiling might be necessary. I asked if this would be any kind of problem for the installation since I was paying for a basic installation and there could be more to it. The salesman told me that they would be able to handle whatever was needed - no problem. When the insatller called he said they had a 4 hour appointment window. Not the best for my schedule, but clearly a sign of a company more concerned with whats best for them than their customer. As I've have done countless times with these type and quot;appointmentand quot; windows I asked for a call to notify when they were on the way. I was told they could call but if I didn't pick up then they consider it a missed appointment. So I took a pass on the notification call. On the day of the installation the installer showed up. after he opened up the fan and looked in the ceiling he said there was additional work not covered by the level of service I had purchased. I told him I had been assured by the salesman that any extra work needed would be performed and the job completed. I have no no problem with additional charges for additional items outside the original work order. The installer said he could not do the work at this time. He refused to do his job. He said I would have to return to the store to purchase the additional service. He said I would then need to arrange a return appointment for them to come back to do the work that they should have been doing right then. I have to say I was very uncomfortable having this person in my home with his bad attitude and poor service. The next day I returned the fan and asked for refund on the service. They said they had to levy a $35 charge for the and quot;serviceand quot; call. An insult on top of it all since THEY refused to do the job plus wasting my time and the wasted trips to the store for all this nonsense. I spoke with the manager who waved the ridiculous charge. I gave Lowe's a try because I thought they would be respectful, professional, efficient, courteous and reliable. I thought they would be a step up, instead it was a big let down. Lowe's failed on every count. This was a good lesson though because I have a big fixer upper with lots of projects in the pipeline. Its good to know from this little incident which they completely botched that I will not have them back to do anything else at my house. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Lowe's installers.

They were great. There is lots of selection. They had a good promotion; it wasn't per room, it was one flat piece for installation so that saved a lot of money. They came when they said they were going to come. Two guys came for the install so it took longer than I would have liked but they did a good job and there was nothing to complain about.
