Laurie was on top of things from the beginning. Very professional and straightforward. She took time to explain the process of selling a home. She always answered questions. She worked around my schedule and was still great when my kids were underfoot. She helped recommend how to have our house ready to go on the market. She scheduled with us and always followed up. Fast forward...Laurie Rummel assessed our situation and had us in a house we love, moved in and everything, in less than two weeks! Of course there was a tremendous amount of work on her part. The housing market had a whole lot of nothing at the time. Laurie came through for us. She solves obstacles with integrity, honesty and a caring sincebility. The real kicker here is that she does what she says she will. She will solve the problems. She will have your back on things you didn't know your back needed. There were other details but you get the picture. We didn't have to live in the Prius. Laurie Rummel is "one" with buying and selling homes. Recommended indeed.

Laurie gave me a full rundown of what to expect, arranged for a guy to pick up large junk that couldn't be tossed in the trash, helped me navigate the offers, the appraisal and viewings, and got the house sold in a very short time very close to asking price. Throughout the process she communicated frequently and was always available to answer questions. She was thorough, professional, and always on top of things, and most importantly for me was her tenacity and belief in the value of my home - it was a diamond in the rough and we managed to set a new precedent for the home value as a result of this. We were relocating from Washington DC into Scottsdale, AZ. We were not familiar with the city at all and we had significant time constrains. We didn’t know where to start. We found Laurie through recommendations. Lauri provided great information regarding neigh-boughs and school’s districts that helped us narrow our search. The first couple weeks Lauri visited houses on our behalf. She was always willing to accommodate her time to our schedule in order to FaceTime with us to show us the properties she was visiting. She was very attentive to details and provided feedback which made us feel comfortable with her recommendations. The following weekend, we made a trip to Scottsdale to visit the selected/contender houses. We made an offer at the end of that weekend and we closed in the house four weeks later. During the process, she showed a solid knowledge about constructions/house foundations and general tips, which she used wisely during the negotiation process. Her advices were of paramount importance to make a decision. We had a great smooth experience with Laurie and her team through the entire process.

Professional. Knowledgeable. Accountable. Customer Centric. Available. Resourceful. Laurie acted as my advocate throughout the end-to-end home buying process. She took the time to truly understand what I was looking for and what was most important to me (and my 10 year old daughter). As we would view homes, Laurie took stock of my feedback and continually adapted our home viewing approach accordingly. She was patient and readily available for discussions and home visits. Laurie’s communication was timely, clear and concise. She worked seamlessly with all parties involved including other agents, financial agents and contractors. The contractor side proved very beneficial as there was work I wanted to get done to the home and Laurie had a wealth of resources, all of whom had a great deal of respect for her. Most importantly, there was never a point where I felt like Laurie didn’t have my best interest in mind.

So when we considered moving to Scottsdale, we had to figure out how to find a real estate agent to work with us. We asked the few contacts we had in AZ and none of them knew anybody. So I got on the internet. They said look for somebody with at least 5 years experience, certifications that show additional training, various real estate awards, and that has lots of positive references and sales in the area you're looking at. Laurie's name rose right to the top. We also liked that she had a degree in interior design. It's like a twofer. A real estate agent AND a designer! So we called her from out of state to start the process. One thing that became readily apparent is that Laurie does not let grass grow under her feet. I was worried that a successful realtor like Laurie would be hard to reach. We needn't have worried. Laurie multi-tasks like nobody’s business. Before we even left for Arizona, she was walking through properties that interested us and letting us know what she found. One time she even Facetimed us so we could look at the property for ourselves! We never found it difficult to reach Laurie. Another important thing is that she really knows what she's doing. At every step of the way, she explained what was happening, how much it would cost, and what to expect. She has contacts in every phase of home renovation, so that if you have any questions about repairs or potential improvements, she can get these answered almost immediately. In our case, our first home offer in Scottsdale ran into an obscure unexpected deal killer late in the process. Ordinarily this might put you the buyer at odds with an agent wanting to preserve his or her commission. But Laurie was a pro. Her genuine goal is to help her buyers get the house they really wanted. So it was wonderful that all through the process, she was totally on our side. So. We’ll give it another go soon, but the thing to know is that there is no question that Laurie will be our agent. Can’t imagine a better one.
