It went well from the very start. She had a wonderful and very informative pre listing appointment, discussed her strategy of how to get the home sold as soon as possible and for the highest reasonable market price . After she was hired she was very prompt, we had a multiple offer situation and she went the extra mile and put all the offers on a single spreadsheet for easier comparison. She kept us updated throughout the whole process, provided us with a timeline of the important dates and events once we had and executed purchase contract. kept up with the buyer's lender to ensure the loan process was advancing smoothly. She wasn't required too but was present during our signing ( just an example of her going the extra mile). And she was very pleasant, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about the current housing market and i would highly recommend her for anyone wanting to sell and buy a home in the greater phoenix metropolitan area.

So far it's going great. She is very professional, knowledgeable and really wants to try to help us sell the house. If we needed to, we would use her again. 07/02/2014 Update Unfortunately, due to health reasons we had to remove the listing and postpone the sale of our house. When the time comes we will definitely call Laurie to help us again!

Regardless of what questions we had about various properties, she already had the answers or got them very quickly. She facilitated all of the steps of the purchase process for us and that was HUGE as the process in Arizona is very different from that in the Northeast. We would have been lost without her guidance. I really think Laurie is one of the hardest working persons with whom I have been fortunate to work. Keep in mind Laurie works primarily for the buyer and that eliminates having a realtor trying to satisfy the buyer and seller at the same time. I had to sell my old home as quickly as possible and could not fully clean it out. Laurie knew what potential buyers would be willing to purchase the home in its as-is condition and actually recommended an asking price higher than I had originally planned to sell. When the home was listed, she spent almost a full day showing the house to prospective buyers, and by that evening, had received a number of offers, which she narrowed down to the top two recommendations. By 8 PM that evening, we were under contract at close to asking price. My home was a bit difficult in some ways to market...it was a fixer-upper that needed quite a bit of work. The two offers Laurie selected as best were both close to asking, but Laurie advised me that one buyer was experienced in fixing up homes for resale while the other was not so experienced. In recommending the experienced buyer, she was focused on protecting my interests by recommending selecting the buyer who was most knowledgeable about the work required for reselling the home. She also walked me through the process of closing and was with me at closing to insure that things went smoothly. This was the first time I had sold a home, and Laurie was with me every step of the way, answering my questions. Laurie was also most patient and tireless in helping me find my new home, and she has represented me on both sides of my real estate transactions. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to buy or sell a home...she's always tirelessly working for you and treats you as if you were her only customer. Laurie is a very conscientious and committed realtor,able to address your needs whether you are buying or selling your home. I previously reviewed Laurie for her ability to help us (family of 4 with distinct tastes) locate our new home, but she also represented us for selling 2 very different homes as well. In the case of one of the homes which was previously a rental property and was a fairly dated but sturdy brick home in Phoenix, she provided insightful guidance with what had to be done to the house before placing it on the market for the best possible price. Laurie provided relevant comps and a mock-up of the MLS listing to help us see how the house was going to be marketed. Also, Laurie works with a professional photographer who does such a wonderful job with her photography which made the MLS and online listings look extremely sharp and professional. Furthermore, since I was extremely busy with work and other commitments, she was willing to stay with the home while it was being professionally cleaned along with getting the badly needed yard work done to present the home in the best possible light. Suffice it to say, the house had quite a bit of interest and we had an offer in less than 2 days. The other home we had for sale had the challenges of being on septic along with having solar panels installed on the roof which complicated the listing. Just like with our rental propertly, Laurie gave us suggestions about low cost enhancements we could make to our home which would present it in the best possible light. She once again used her professional photographer who did a great job as the MLS and online listings were very inviting. Although this home took longer to sell, Laurie would check up on the home and would report on any activities involving the home on a timely basis. In both of our sales, she got us a great sales price and was timely with her communications between all of the realtors/brokers to ensure our transactions would close in a timely manner. We highly recommend Laurie to anyone in search of a realtor!

We were living overseas when we decided to sell our house, which we had rented out for the previous three years. I was in town for just three weeks to get the house ready for sale. I interviewed 4 realtors (which I strongly recommend; you will learn a lot of valuable information) after which I decided the two most important factors were the agent's ability to help me get the house ready for sale by the end of my short stay, and the attractiveness of the on-line listing, since most folks these days visit Zillow or Trulia, etc. while house-hunting. Laurie was able to set me up with craftsmen, landscapers and house cleaners in a timely manner, and her on-line listings are superior to any I have seen in the area. She had a better sense of what the house could sell for than the other interviewees, and our final sale price was for the maximum appraised value of the buyer's lender. Oh, and we had a buyer after only three days on the market, while three other houses within a hundred yards of ours, that went on sale about the same time, are still languishing. After I had returned to Germany, Laurie guided me through the lengthy closing procedure and paperwork while checking on the house frequently to make sure all was well. The end result? The buyers are very happy with their new home and we are very happy with the smooth sale. I just couldn't ask for any better service than Laurie provided us.

We enjoyed working with Laurie. She was very friendly and really seems to want to do the best for her clients. There are a few things I would have done differently with the negotians but their were also things that Laurie recommeneded that we hadn't thought of. They turned out to be great suggestions.

She always responded to our questions and listened to our preferences. After several months we saw a house we were interested in and we flew in the next day. Save yourself time with trying to locate a real estate agent - you've found the best with Laurie! We interviewed a small handful of realtors and eventually selected Laurie. What an incredible experience working with her on the purchase of our new home and we continue to work with her on the sales of our homes as well. During the purchase process, she really listened to the viewpoints and interests of all 4 buyers (2 adults and 2 teens) and presented us homes which were suitable. She would review the MLS listings daily, if not more frequently to inform us of pertinent listings via txt msgs and/or emails. She was also able to tell how we wanted to walk through homes where we did not want to be followed like a hawk but rather would let us view the home and in the end we would have a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of each home and pointed out things we might not have thought of. Once we made an offer on our current home, Laurie was great about staying on top of the sellers agent and kept us abreast of all communications to ensure the home would close on time and without any problems. We highly recommend Laurie to anyone in search of a realtor!

From the initial phone call to the very end, Laurie was top notch. I would highly recommend her for her knowledge, persistence, responsiveness, out of the box thinking, great attitude, and attention to detail. She was on top of it at all phases of the transaction. Her patience with the situation as well as her ability to get it done even though I live out of state is commendable. I highly, highly, recommend this professional. She really cares and it shows.

We are looking for a new home in the Mesa, AZ area. Since we didn' t have real estate contacts there, I came to Angie's List to look for reviews of Realtors; I selected Laurie Rummel . We were traveling overseas during the home purcahse period, but Laurie always responded to our questions without any delay, no matter it's early morning or late evening, again her responsinvess is the best. The experience totaled a five-month search until I found the right home. Laurie was incredibly patient and gave me outstanding advice and education. I engaged her for the first house I looked at, & Laurie gave me realistic advice on the home's true worth. It was greatly overpriced for the market. She worked extra hours to get back-up offers in on two other houses to make sure we had a decent chance if the the first offer fell through. She shared her knowledge and insights so I could perform better research on my own and fully respected my budget, keeping me on track, optimistic when things were frustrating, and represented my interests all the way. In the end, thanks to her persistence, patience, and advice, I bought a wonderful house from a fantastic seller. Due to a major problem found at inspection, Laurie successfully negotiated a solution and worked with the seller's realtor to correct another problem caused by poorly performed work by the seller's contractor. She handled this in a manner that left everyone involved feeling good about the outcome. When I'm ready to move & sell my house, Laurie will be the one I call!

Tina listed our home in the MLS and it appeared on a Saturday. I have to mention that our home was well taken care of and updated. She had a great strategy. LIsted on Saturday and all offers were to be in not later than Monday at noon! This worked!! I had 3 offers (could of had more but they stepped back when they knew multiple offers were on the table). I find that buying a home is a relatively easy job compared to being the SELLER in this market with the short sales and foreclosures to compete with. Tina did not even have to put up a FOR SALE sign, it went so quickly. Not only did we have multiple offers but all were over the asking price!! As we went through the process of selling and getting ready to close, there are always a few "bumps" in the road but Tina was always there to assure us that all was well, no worries. They are great. They give excellent quality of service. They call back within minutes. They are always there on time and if they are going to be late, they call.

The seller of the home we were purchasing had bought the home to renovate and flip. He was sitting on number of properties in a market that was beginning to soften. He was unhappy with the shift in the market. Ms Rummel stood firm as a tough negotiator during the buying process, honoring our budget and our needs. She did extensive research for us to support the offer (in the changing market) and negotiation, and had quality recommendations (again within our budget) for everyone from roofers to home inspectors. Most importantly, on the day of closing inspection, the seller had failed to complete work which had been part of the contract. We were packed and ready to move, our previous residence was sold. We were Ms Rummel's priority, she was on the scene, making sure the contract was honored, working with a difficult seller and the title company. A true partner in the buying process, putting our best interests first.

The experience exceeded my expectations. Laurie is professional and helpful from start to finish. She sold my home fast for a great price and worked hard to help me secure my new home, a lender owned property.
