I highly recommend Jones Moving for the peace of mind and feeling of security they provide. Steve and Candice Jones are the owners and operators. They came out to our home to preview the move of our 2500 sq ft home's contents. Candice was available for my numerous texts and calls on how to pack delicate items. This was a huge move from Michigan to California for us. Their clean, modern 70' tractor-trailer rig was carrying only our furniture. We felt secure knowing exactly who was handling our precious goods. We moved many glass and fragile items. Everything arrived safely in perfect condition. They loaded and delivered promptly just as promised. Their helpers were like family, very friendly and professional.

Jones moving company was the best. Very friendly, went right to work, did a gre ad t job I would definitely use this company again and would spread the word, best by far.

Horrible experience. Everything was packed in the truck and then the truck wouldn’t start. AAA couldn’t come out so nearly three hours later another truck came and they finally got to the house to unload my stuff. The movers were apologetic and said their boss would discount two and a half hours for the inconvenience. At the end they wanted to charge us $340 for three hours of labor plus the extra hour they charge as a service fee when they quoted us $255. Total move time was only two hours and it was an easy job. So the two and a half hour “discount” was them removing the THREE HOURS they were broken down. Are you kidding me!? That’s a no brainer. Why would I pay you for your truck breaking down? Absolutely ridiculous. Additionally, my dresser suffered A TON of damage. Not just scratches but actual chunks of wood missing from the dresser from carelessness (probably because they wanted to hurry up and get home after being broken down for three hours). We brought one of the movers up to see it and he brushed it off and said he couldn’t file a claim tonight because he needed to go home. I’m glad my belongings that you damaged are not important to you. I was told Candice would call me in 1-2 business days. Never received a call. I finally called her on 8/6 and she said she’d call back the next day. It’s now been three days with no call back. I’ve called multiple times during business hours and now the phone goes to voicemail. How convenient. Don’t book them unless you want damaged items and unprofessional and unethical business practices.

I just wanted to let you know how great the move was because of your crew! I am so happy we used you guys!! They were great, professional and very careful with all of our possessions! I would recommend your company anytime!! Thankfully we will not be moving again but if I did I would call you again!! Thank you again!!

We just moved from Arizona to Florida. It's the second time we used Jones Company. The first time was locally and the second across the country but every time they were really professional. The owner and his family are really friendly and efficient. The local people they employ are courteous and professional. I highly recommend Jones Moving Company & Storage.

It was nothing short of fantastic. They arrived promptly at 9 finished everything lock stock and barrel by 1215. Despite the heat they didn't take a break or loaf. If I was doing the job myself I could not have done it better.

The two movers that came were quick, courteous and always on point unloading to show me potentially damaged item (not by them). Thanks for the prompt service!

Small (but very capable) family owned and operated company which I really liked after using "big name" companies that failed me in every way possible in the past. Steve and his son Travis came to evaluate my job at my home. Steve himself called me within a day with his estimate based on my needs and expectations that we discussed in detail when he was here. The huge 53' custom moving van pulled by Steve's Cummins Engine powered tractor arrived on time and he and Travis along with their teammates loaded my items in no time! That included many power tools and heavy equipment from my woodworking hobby in my garage. Everything arrived on time and Steve, his wife Candice and son Alex were here with two local professional helpers to unload my stuff. Much of which had to be carried up two flights of stairs. I really appreciated working directly with the owner/operator and family! Two thumbs up!

Horribly. They were booked for a PM move. They showed up 3-4 hours early without explanation, while we were in the final stages of packing our stuff. When I asked if they could come back later that day, they claimed we'd have to rebook for another day (not possible). The moving crew was entirely unprofessional. They kept ignoring our instructions as to what to move, leaving closets partly or completely filled without explanation. Each time I informed them of these lapses of attention, they had to stop and move stuff into already packed boxes or mix the items with other boxes. It made it difficult to unpack, since the requested labeling was wrong or non-existent, and goods were put in the wrong carton. My wife is still looking for toiletries and clothing since things were put into the wrong cartons. In all, it probably took an extra two hours for them to finish loading the truck due to this carelessness. Part of that time was the result of being forced to allow them to pack items because of the unexpectedly early arrival. When we arrived at the new apartment, they demanded payment, including the extra time and work they did because of their carelessness and unexpectedly early arrival. When I protested and asked to renegotiate the price, the manager, Candice, threatened to call the police if we didn't pay right away. They wouldn't even take the credit cards I offered, even though their written policy says they do. So I had to rush out and get the cash from the bank, as they sat back and wasted billable time until I returned. This was without doubt the worst moving experience in my life. Stay away — stay far away from this crew! I cannot believe these positive reviews, because my expedience was opposite, and I can't believe it's not typical. UPDATE 9-13-17 I am writing another review because of the lies contained in the response from the owner of Jones Moving that have no relationship whatever with the truth. 1. I was not given the option of having the movers come later that day. They informed me I had to rebook the move, and another day was not an option. 2. There was no confusion whatever about what was to be moved. It was made clear from the beginning that it was essentially everything but the heavy appliances which were owned by the landlord of the property. 3. I requested packing materials. That they arrived 3 to 4 hours early totally disrupted our schedule. 4. The claim that I wanted free labor is defamation and requires an apology. I find it distasteful that a company has to mislead customers when rightly criticized for the failure to perform. The facts ought to be obvious from my original complaint. They are not going to be changed because of a company's attempt to insult customers.

Job well done and it was very hot outside

Perfect. The guys were on time, professional and friendly. They hustled and had my entire place moved in 3 hours. Purchased a deal through Angie's list which made the price really good!

Overall, we were very pleased. The two movers were strong, careful, courteous and efficient and worked hard to get the job done within a short time frame. I was worried about space but they did an amazing job of packing a lot into a small area. Just two quibbles -- the office got the date wrong at first and did not get back to us in a timely way in another instance. Also, be aware that the "service fee" tacked on to the deal is $80, so you're actually paying for 3 hours rather than the 2 it took. That said, it was worth it to us to have the heaviest work of our move-out completed in an easy and quick manner. You hear so many horror stories about movers, but I would definitely use them again.

We would definitely hire Jones Moving and Storage for a move again! They communicated frequently, provided helpful tips, were punctual and had good help. In our case, we had the boxes packed, which they loaded, and they took care of packing and moving all of the furniture. We hired them based on the recommendation of another family member and they did not disappoint!

We gave Jones moving all of one days notice to get our panicked move done and we were very very pleased with all aspects of the move. The movers were cordial,presentable and very efficient. They had new equipment and all latest in products to make the move easy. We can't say enough about Jones!!

Brian and Robbie were fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better team. The price was very reasonable for the services provided. I will definitely use them again.

They moved everything just fine, and we were especially impressed with how the second group of movers packed everything so tightly into the "pod" and tied it all down, protected everything from breaking. They were polite and professional. The office staff worked us in very quickly for the second moving job and even did the moving on a Saturday. We really appreciated that, as our daughter was on a tight timeline for packing the pod. I would definitely use their company again if we ever need help moving!

They broken several precious family heirloom pieces and scratched wood and walls. They used my silk nightgown from my drawers as furniture buffers, who does that?!

The move could not have been more smooth!!! We had one truck and 2 men, Travis and A.J., who were wonderful. Very fast, efficient, professional and most friendly . We asked them to move a couple pieces from one office to the other one, and they were so accomodating. We would hire them again without a doubt. We highly recommmend Jones Movers. I sent an email and heard right back from. I dealt with Candice and she was great to work with! Got us right on the schedule and within a couple days we had our new furniture delivered. Perfect!!!! AND VERY REASONABLE.......

Had a great experience with Jones Moving & Storage this past week. We just moved and our sellers left all their furniture behind, so after sifting through their stuff and our's we needed to have lots of big, heavy pieces of furniture moved to another floor or just out the door. The guys did a great job and were very quick about it too. Don't know how they moved some of the pieces, but very grateful they did. Best experience and will certainly used them again. Thanks
