+ -1 moreWe had a problem with the manufacturer of the type of toilets initially installed in our house, which was not the fault of Hughes. The Hughes representatives, Jeff and Frankie, were very helpful and very responsive in dealing with the manufacturer and with us. Although the manufacturer had made partial delivery (the tanks, but not the bowls), Hughes willingly canceled the order at no cost to us (waiving the usual cancellation fee). They also recommended a plumber deliver and install the toilets. Overall we are pleased with Hughes and the plumber they recommended. Eventually we will replace the third toilet and we plan to purchase it at Hughes and have the same plumber install it. Hughes is competitive in price with the local home improvement stores, has a much better selection, and their people are much more knowledgeable and responsive.
Description of Work: We wanted to replace all three toilets in our house. In one of the bathrooms, there is a built in shelf that limits the models of toilet that will fit. We ordered two toilets identical to the existing toilets and one new ADA complaint toilet. The ADA compliant toilet was a stock item, but the other toilets were special order. The manufacturer of the special order toilets promised delivery within 4 weeks, but failed to deliver, and eventually we were informed that these toilets were discontinued. We then went back to Hughes and canceled that order and instead ordered a second ADA compliant toilet.
