Then he looked at the door installation and showed me where there were problems with ben tracks and provided a quotation to fix the tracks. I was pleased with Joel's professionalism and knowledge and will have hime make the repairs in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased two garage door tune-ups for $40.00 each. The deal was to include complete system diagnosis, balancing the doors, lubrication, and a 21-point safety check. After getting here about an hour late, all he did was lubricate the rollers on one of my doors.

Description of Work: I bought the door tune-up for 39.99. The fellow came out but refused to do the work with out selling me more parts, saying the rollers were worn out. My door is not on a garage, but on a shop building and is located on the side and used to move bulky objects inside that can't be brought through the walk in door. No vehicle can go thru this door and it hasn't been raised more than a hundred times since it was installed. I just asked for lubrication of my rollers and he said he didn't do that, so he left. I'm out forty dollars for nothing--not a good conpany.

Technician arrived and opened and closed the door several times an commented that it was working well. He then replaced the rollers and checked operation. He did not do any lubrication or adjustments. So I basically paid for roller replacements only.

Description of Work: The service tech,Wayne,was on time and quickly replaced the steel rollers with nylon ones and performed a 21 point inspection and lubrication.He brought to my attention that the springs were nearing servjce life expectancy and gave me a proposal for replacement and repair along with a brace for a door panel which a neighbor had rammed.He answered my questions courtesly and intelligently.I didn`t accept the proposal but based on experience with another firm the prices were fair.When in the future I have garage door issues I will call on Precision and I recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Had a reliability problem with old garage door opener. Precision put in a new unit but had to upgrade the model, which they did at no additional cost. Also had to retrofit an older vehicle so the car's opener button would work with new unit. This they also did at no additional cost. Precision was a good choice, and we recommend them to anyone in need of a garage door opener.

Description of Work: I'm a little concerned that there was some "up-selling" on this job. But perhaps I don't understand how much service a garage door really needs. I'm not sure I really needed an $850 rehab of my doors or if something much less expensive would have fit the bill. In any case, I went from doors that sounded really bad to quiet, smooth-operating doors.They know how to fix problems, but do they give you more than you need? Update: It is less than six months later and one of the doors is making an unbearable screeching sound when it closes. I really think this service should have lasted longer than that.
