Great ! Sal is the man! After interviewing 3 vendors, I read Angie's many 5* reviews on Dunrite. Sal was a pleasure to work with and even handled changes before and after we had the work done. JJ and Doug were onsite every day at approx. 7 am to complete the project in 4 days. Even our dog Holly looked forward to their arrival each morning!

Sal explained all my options for windows along with the pros and cons of each. I went with Anderson windows because of the quality and color variety available. The windows were measured carefully and the final design, color, style were reviewed. Sal kept me informed of all the steps along the way and scheduled a tentative install date when we ordered the windows. The crew arrived as planned and carefully moved furniture out of the way. They were professional and friendly. They certainly were experienced and the install went smoothly. They cleaned up so well, you would never know they had been there. Sal made the trip to my home to discuss my project. I had an idea in mind what I wanted to do, but after listening to my "wish list", he recommended a different style window, which met all of my criteria! DunRite had a problem with some breakage during shipment from factory, so was unable to install on scheduled date. Sal was very apologetic. Replacement windows were delayed at factory, but as soon as they came in, Sal scheduled the installation. All went well after that. The two installers were personable, answered all my questions, and did a very professional job. I would definitely recommend them. I love the windows!!

They were clean and efficient and had the job completed as promised. They could use more experienced helpers. The job took only 2 days for them to complete.

Back in early March after doing some preliminary research on-line, we decided on having DunRite provide us some further education and price the job. Since customer service and customer satisfaction are as important to us as price, we chose DunRite based on Angie's List reviews. I talked to Sal Sucato on the phone to give him some preliminary information (approximately 26 windows and 2 sliding doors) and was quite clear that I had no clue as to the potential cost or the proper window manufacturer to choose. Sal came to the house with three different manufacturer samples and spent well over an hour educating us on the ins and outs. There was never any hard sell or need for immediate commitment. My wife and I decided that Anderson was the best choice for manufacturer and asked Sal to get us an estimate. He measured the entire house and within two or three days we had a thorough and complete estimate in our email. We decided almost immediately to go ahead. Oddly enough I was able to get HOA approval in just one day, and Sal came back to the house with the contract for our signatures and a 35% deposit. He also remeasured every window and door to ensure that he had the right numbers. Based on Anderson's delivery schedule and the availability of DunRite installers, we scheduled the installation for the week of 4/17. Sal was more like a partner and educator than a salesman. It was the most pleasant experience I have ever had dealing with a sales person. Spring forward to 4/17: the DunRite installers arrived on schedule at 6:30 am on 4/17. Another reason for going with Dunrite is that they employ the installation team and do not reply on contractors and temp employees. JJ was the lead installer in a team of three. They work diligently from 6:30 am to on-or-about noon (which was the agreed upon timing). Although DunRite had estimated five days to complete, the job was done mid-morning on the fourth day. JJ and team were friendly, professional, and extremely effective and efficient. They cleaned up each day, and at the end of the job the house was as clean as when they started. Two small windows required rather extensive dry wall repair (which we knew about in advance), and their dry wall guy (Alfredo) came on Friday and did an excellent repair job. The job is not quite done. One small bathroom window was MIA and had to be reordered, so the installers will back in about a month to complete that task. No worries. And after installation we discovered that two windows had scratches which were next to imperceptible until the sun hit them the right way. Sal came back on the Monday after installation to inspect the scratches and agreed it was an Anderson problem. He has ordered the replacement glass from Anderson and will install it when the missing bathroom window comes in. So, while we are still awaiting the final touches on the project, we could not be more happy with the experience of dealing with DunRite. Customer satisfaction is clearly DunRite's top priority. I could not recommend more highly than I do.

The installation went great. And they look terrific.

I made an appointment with them for a Wednesday afternoon at 4. Sometime in the afternoon the salesman called me and left a voicemail saying that he was 4 hours behind in his appointments and would not be making it to my appointment and would need to reschedule. Tyler, who had made the original appointment emailed me the next day to say sorry about the appointment and would I like to reschedule. I said yes, how about the following Wednesday. She asked if 4pm on 8/31 was ok. I said yes. It's now 7:23pm on 8/31. They didn't show up. They didn't call. They didn't get my business and never will.

Sal was very responsive and interested in filling our needs and not just selling us a product. Great follow up throughout and everything was performed on schedule. The installation crew did a great job and everything looks great.

You might think it is easy just to replace doors, however there is A LOT of work to it. The entire frame was replaced, the doors close beautifully. Windows are beautiful also.

It was excellent! Sal was great to work with. I had gotten another estimate, but was not particularly impressed with service from them, even though their estimate was a bit lower. Spoke to Sal and he agreed to meet their estimate. Felt very satisfied that i would like their service and was not disappointed. We had a problem with door from warehouse, due to a fire there and install was pushed back, but i was kept in loop at all times. Doors were installed and look great and i am highly impressed with the installers as well.

They were the best!!!!! I had heard windows could be a scary mess. NOT by this company! From the first estimate to the final product the process was smooth as could be. They measured everything several times to ensure an easier installation. I have several pets and they allowed the time needed without hesitation for me to put them in a room each time they escaped. :) They not only do excellent work, they understand that they are working in people's homes and take great care of everything they move and put it back into place.

Great! (Or as great as can be expected when your windows are removed on the coldest days so far this year). I appreciated that the owner was involved in all steps of the process from sales, to measurement, to post-install quality check and responded immediately to any questions I had throughout the process. He also gave me bottom-line figures from the beginning (which was greatly appreciated after a previous high-pressure sales pitch and "today's deal" from another company), and pricing was competitive for the windows I chose. From the other reviews on this site about the installation, I believe he's employed the same 2 installers for some time (Doug and JJ), so the installation took a little longer than the larger companies that send out a large enough crew to do it in one day. That minor inconvenience was worth it to know that there was personal involvement and oversight and that I was getting the same installation that others had made positive comments on. Some windows could be fit in the old frames and some needed a "stucco cut" due to the lack of an overhang -- the stucco repair was perfect and Sal explained the reasons for doing different types of installations. Everything was scheduled to occur as quickly as possible and I knew from the beginning how many days it would take from start to finish. The inside of my home was left clean each day and all window coverings replaced as originally installed. There were a few extremely minor cosmetic imperfections on the frame of 2 windows, one of which I hadn't even seen, that Sal photographed and sent to the manufacturer for repair.

This company is excellent. I highly recommend them. The door, frame, and threshold of our master bedroom balcony door were shot, so the heavy rains we experienced two weeks ago caused a lot of water to leak into our bedroom. The next day I went on Angie's List to find someone specializing in doors and called Dunrite. I spoke with the owner Sal, and he had a guy come out the next day to take a look at the door and to provide an estimate. (I had already looked online to get an idea of the price range for fiberglass doors comparable to our old one.) Dunrite's price for the door plus installation was very reasonable. Plus, the sales guy did not try to pressure me into purchasing something other than what I was looking for. I ordered from them that day and my door was installed two weeks later (10 business days). Sal even stopped by my house later that day to take a second look since he knew we had a leak. The installation went very smoothly. Colby and his partner showed up on time and had the job done in less then 3 hours. They even reinstalled my door blinds for me and the door knob and dead bolt set I had purchased from Lowes. Sal called later that afternoon to make sure that everything was satisfactory. End result: Hard rain with wind today and no water leaking into the bedroom! Dunrite rocks!

The removal of the windows and installation of the doors was done in a very professional manner. The two technicians kept the area very clean. Debris was removed during the process. The installation was very professionally done. The doors work very smoothly. The sheetrock/plastering persons did a very good job. Put plastic down to protect the doors and the floor in the work area. Plaster finish matched the existed finish quite well. The stucco person likewise protected the doors and patio with plastic sheeting. Work was done well and finish matched the outside stucco finish well. Sal kept me informed of the timing the project several times. I knew when the personal would be arriving and who they were. I am very pleased with the whole process. Martin Beavers

Sal provided us window options on our initial meeting. He was so knowledgeable about the products that we felt comfortable taking his advice and upgrading our choices. Sal went out of his way to make sure we got the product that we wanted and that was right for us. We were correct to trust him. The installation was seamless, Doug and JJ don't waste time and they know what they are doing. They cleaned up inside and outside. I now have beautiful Anderson windows in my home. Our French door took a little longer to come in. Colby also did an excellent job in installing and cleaning up. What a great group! DunRite is a professionally run, quality minded and customer service driven team. I would highly recommend and use them again.
