This tree service knows trees-they know how to prune and trim and not resort to the lazy way of tree trimming, the dreaded "topping". So many others have told me they know trees, only to see them start to top my beautiful trees. The others don't have the knowledge and skill Cutting Edge has. My Willow Acacia will withstand the monsoon wind and storms this year due to the expert trimming and thinning Tom and his crew did and it looks absolutely beautiful. They know Trees!!! My oak tree has also been thinned correctly to handle the winds this year. The crew got right to work and were professional and knowledgeable. AND-my yard was cleaner after they finished than before they started!!! This is a great business and I will be a lifelong customer.

If you need tree removal service I would highly recommend you consider Cutting Edge. We needed a 25 foot Palm tree removed from a very confined area. After having several other services come out, I had Tom from Cutting Edge come out to give me an estimate. He explained exactly how and what would be done and quoted me a definite price. I explained I was concerned as it was a confined area with in-ground lighting and a drip sprinkler system all surrounding the tree that was to be removed. I explained there was also a French Drain system that was in the area; however I was uncertain as to where it was located. Tom assured me the tree would be removed, and care would be taken to the other concerns I had. He promised he would do whatever it took to be sure I was happy before the job was completed. The tree was removed, and the stump grinding was done as well. It all was done smoothly, and looks great, as though the tree was never there. Unfortunately with the stump grinding process in that confined area, unavoidably there was damage to the French Drain and the Drip Irrigation system. After the work was completed, Tom sent Jason over to repair the damage. Jason worked an entire ½ day to remove the damaged part of the French drain and install an entire new piece of drain. Not a patch or a cheap fix, an entirely new part. He also repaired the damaged drip system and everything looks and functions perfectly. There were no extra charges for the repairs, as Tom had promised me he would take care of everything until it was done to my satisfaction, and he certainly did.

They are good. It was easy to schedule. They arrived on time and they did the work for a reasonable price.

Fantastic! Tom's guys work like a well oiled machine. They were incredibly efficient and fast and cleaned up everything. The bonus was that they were also nice guys. We were concerned about some of the trees coming down near pool equipment, or close to the house, so they used a pulley and strap system on those. The contract also included grinding the stumps and deep root feeding of 3 other trees. We have used two other tree services in the past with unhappy outcomes. Will only use Cutting Edge in the future.

It was awesome. He did a great job. The quality was excellent. He showed up on time and did what he was going to do. He cleaned everything up. I couldn't tell they were there.

I got three estimates, and Tom's was the lowest by $1, but then I got a discount for Angie's list, and it got even better. They did the estimate the day after I called, and were here to do the work less than a week later. A crew of four removed the large tree, took out the stump, and cleaned up all the yard debris in less than two hours. They were great. I would definitely use them again!

. He suggested that I do this every 3 to 5 years; in other years, use surface fertilization. The orange, grapefruit, lemon and key lime trees doubled in production. The 3 other trees remained fruitless. I don't know how long to maintain hope for those trees.

When they provided an estimate and it was high. I was not impressed with the price. They services were not performed due to no longer wanting to be associated with Angie's List.

The contractor came out soon after I ordered the deal, but told me that the necessary work should wait until later in the year due to the upcoming summer heat. They directed me to call them back in a Sept/Oct time frame. I called them back and they notified me that they were no longer affiliated with Angie's List and that I should go back to Angie's for a refund. I called Angie's and they were apparently still on the contractor list. Not a huge deal - just frustrating to have an overly complicated experience. I just wanted my trees trimmed and fertilized.

I am in Southern California, handling property for my mom in Scottsdale, AZ. A neighbor's tree had fallen on top of our shared wall and into our driveway. The property is tenant-occupied and the tree landed on our tenant's vehicle. The neighbor did nothing about it and was not responding to my phone calls. I called Tom Monday. He went out to look at the job Tuesday and emailed a cost estimate to me same day. I approved the estimate and the tree removal was done on Wednesday. Tom said he would email the invoice to me and that I could send a check at that time. He asked for no money up front. I'm always grateful to find a company that makes it easy for me to remotely handle problems that come up with the AZ properties. Cutting Edge is now my vendor for tree service. The experience was perfect! Thank you Tom and staff.

I would owe $201 more, I had TWO TREES, 2 large shrubs, and weed treatment and cleanup for $250.

This was part of Angie's List deal of $99 for $200 of tree service - pricing was a little unclear but got final committed bid of $125 for one large tree. The job on the tree was good, well aerated but a little uneven and not quite cut away from the house as much as I would have ideally liked - this was requested on the bid sheet. Going by the other times I've had it done I know this is possible to do in same time frame. Crew showed up with a standard pick up truck already partially filled with branches then seemed to have difficulty with amount of branches cut. They did clean up the lawn just fine and were pleasant folks.

The owner Tom was so prompt, he came over the same day we called for estimate. We got 4 estimates and his price was most reasonable. He thoroughly went over everything as far as scope of job, put it in writing, including AL coupon/discount. Tom also knew someone who was interested in the mesquite wood and gave us a and quot;haulingand quot; discount. Within days of our confirming that we were interested in going with Cutting Edge, his guys with chipper came out. Large crew of and quot;all Americanand quot; guys who were all polite and professional. They took their time taking the mesquite apart piece by piece. She was old and huge so they worked hard. Also, the Yucca plant looks great now that they cleaned her up - she never looked so good. The guys cleaned up after, as there was quite a mess, especially after grinding the stump. In every way, they at all times practiced and quot;safetyand quot; first. Very professional in every respect! We have referred them to friends as well.

While friendly and prompt for the estimate, I felt that the deal was used to have them overcharge for their labor. The overall cost was hundreds of dollars over the deal. In the past I have had all the work completed with what they quoted for 2 trees.
