Unfortunately, dissatisfied with this company. Originally hired to acid wash our pool (March), I was extremely happy with the end result and decided to hire them for weekly service. Within 2 weeks of acid washing the pool, our pool had algae from the technician not cleaning the pool well. 90% of the time the technician didn't come on our scheduled day, no notice, no phone call, nothing to say service was delayed or postponed. Numerous calls were placed to discuss the issue at hand. I was told they are understaffed, not enough employees, etc., at one point the service manager came to clean the pool due to the poor service of the technician. I then spoke with the owner Mike (July 1), who said times were tough and having enough workers was in fact a problem but that things would be turning around. Since the conversation, the technician has shown up 1 on the scheduled day. This conversation led me to stay and give them the benefit of the doubt. I have had more than one technician open the basket part of the filter by kicking it several times to open it. All I've gotten in response is "well, that shouldn't happen, but if something breaks, we'll replace it" Apologies can only carry a company so far; I feel I've been more than understanding for the past few months and been more than understanding with staffing issues. I don't feel these issues are worth tolerating any longer. I wish anyone that uses Crystal Fall Pools better luck than I have had.

Tried to get estimate but Mike never answered my emails after initially responding once.

Excellent service! They came out same day to diagnose the problem and replaced the old pool pump the next day. Great communication throughout. Showed up on time and did a great job!

We had an initial re-tiling done and the price was comparable and we have weekly maintenance and it's also very comparable. The workers are very prompt, Mike is the owner and he is awesome, he returns your phone calls, he provides what you need and he's very accommodating. I can't recommended them enough.

Really impressed with the knowledge level, responsiveness, and professionalism displayed by Crystal Falls. Mike, the owner, came out to evaluate the maintainence and to estimate the installation of a Jandy automation system. They have now taken care of both projects very nicely...our pool has never looked better and is now super simple to control both while we're here in AZ or while we're away. Jeff, the installation supervisor was very patient in explaining exactly what work was done, how to operate the system, and in answering any additional questions I had. Three thumbs up!

I would highly recommend them. They are excellent. They are just fantastic. The installation was $400 and we pay them a $100 a month to clean our pool, which is very reasonable. It is really the going rate but they don't charge more for being so great. They are very professional. Chris is the guy we deal with and he is very responsive to our emails. There were times when we were not happy about certain things and they responded immediately. They were courteous. They took responsibility for their own job and they never made any mess. Our pool has never been in such good condition, thanks to them. They take a lot of care of our pool.

Had Crystal Falls come out to provide a pool remodel quote. The only reason why I had them come out is because my next door neighbor had their pool remodeled and I saw the shirts on the crew said "Crystal Falls Pools". When I spoke to the owner, he said, "we didn't do that house" and looked shocked that I said the crew wore their shirts on the job. Wonder how that happened? After that, the owner came out and we discussed the work including some nice to haves and he took one look and said "yeah, it will be like $15-17K" is that in your budget? I said, why don't you just price out the cost of the pool which is a must have, then price out the other items. He then measured and said they would have a quote in a couple days. I've had several other quotes and Crystal falls verbal BS estimate without measuring was about 30% higher then everyone. They provided no detailed quote as promised, once they measured.

Mike oversaw the remodeling of the pool, the removal of the rolled pebbletec edge, the installation of the travertine coping and waterline tile. He finished by acid washing the pool and refilling it. Crystal Falls continues to do our weekly pool maintenance. We have gotten many compliments on the pool remodel and are very happy with the results. I thought there was a place on Angiles List for photos and I was anxious to share as the difference in the pool is night and day. But I can't seem to located how to post photos.

Their pricing was higher than the company they purchased ($92/mo vs the $85 I was paying). The justification for this was that they didn't charge a premium for months that had an extra week and "it all evened out in the long run." The math didn't work for me but I didn't know anyone else to use, so I continued working with them. There were a few glitches in the beginning - pricing was communicated in a way that wasn't clear for filter replacement. They were very good about adjusting the pricing after several conversations. Then additional charges would start showing up on my bill. When I would question them, the response time was slow. I then requested that nothing be charged to me without my consent. Then the guy who was taking care of my pool apparently wasn't doing well. I found this out when the new guy showed up and told me many of the mistakes to previous guy made. So I was paying a premium for a guy who wasn't doing his job well. Next they started charging me for chemicals. Maybe this is normal, but I didn't recall any discussions about that. Finally, I cut back for the winter and the price was $52. It just wasn't worth it. I will say that when I pushed back on things, they were very willing to remove charges from my bill and work with me. I just didn't want to have to pay high prices for services as well as chemicals and keep an eye on every invoice so that I could ensure nothing was being charged that shouldn't be.

We have used Crystal Falls Pools for our weekly pool service since Fall 2011. After taking over from a different pool company they noted our pool scrubber did not have the proper equipment installed and they also noticed a slow leak at the pool pump-these two items were never mentioned to us by our former pool company. They made the repairs and the pool looks great. Our pool guy does a great job of cleaning up the pool after the major dust storms. We actually receive compliments from others regarding how great the pool looks.

The tile in my pool was an Italian glass tile so not all pool companies could acid wash it. The tiles needed extra care. They were concerned with preserving the quality of the tile. The price was very fair for the job. The project included a number of workers on site and all of them were very polite and seemed to care greatly about their work. There was an issue that we thought was going to cause a major restoration, one of the workers was able to come up with a solution that prevented the major restoration. They saved me a lot of money. Mr. Ceaser was my weekly cleaning technician and he was always a delight to have around.

I cancelled my work with them last week. Their repair work was sub-pair, as was the tile cleaning. Everytime they repaired something, they broke something else. Other pool companies have told me that they had done a terrible job on my pool and surrounding areas as well

Pool was brought back to life (after being neglected for over a 1year), and converted to a salt water system. Work was done timely, and professionally. Felt very comfortable using them, they continue to service my pool on a monthly basis. Good people.

They are awesome. They are professional, fast responders and charge a fair price. They are reliable, friendly and good people to work with. They have always come out right a way and taken care of any problem I had.

WE HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH CRYSTAL FALLS AND THE POOL SERVICE WE RECEIVE WEEKLY. WE CAN DEPEND ON THE DAY AND THE TIME THEY WILL BE IN OUR YARD, WHICH IS A NICE THING TO BE ABLE TO COUNT ON WHEN YOU HAVE PEOPLE ACTUALLY ENTERING YOUR YARD. THE WATER IS CLEAR AND WE ALWAYS KNOW WHERE WE STAND WITH THE CHEMICALS. RETURN CALLS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN RETURNED WITHIN THE DAY AND EVERY ATTEMPT TO FIX A CONCERN OR PROBLEM IS DONE QUICKLY.

CHANGED FROM OLD SERVICE THAT WAS NOT DOING A GOOD JOB. PERSONNEL SEEMED KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HONEST. OUR WEEKLY MAINTENANCE IS DONE BY THE SAME PERSON, WHO IS PROFESSIONAL AND DEPENDABLE. WE ARE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE.
