Initially, a service technician came to perform an on-site service call. He found that he could not fix the problem on-site and took the computer to the office. A technician at the office was experienced enough to be able to recover data from the damaged hard drive. The response time was very quick. Beits is extremely well versed in computer repair and services. They offered the Angie's List special discount which was quite helpful in the otherwise very expensive endeavor.
Description of Work: The company performed the diagnostics of the damaged hard drive, replaced it, installed security suite, and recovered data from the damaged hard drive.

We were overcharged and got no benefit from hiring Click Services. The tech was very disorganized and 'sold' us on installing addition components on computers that were uneccesary and ignored the reason we called in the first place. He spent a lot of time passwording computers to restrict access that we did not need and did not request be restricted... then those passwords were bypassed by users within a week. When we complained to management, they did not come to our site to investigate. They were harsh and just wanted to be paid regardless of our dissatisfaction with the services. The money we were required to pay them was a complete waste. The computers that were not fuctioning are still not functioning.
Description of Work: Our experience with Click was a disaster. The tech arrived and claimed there was a lot of additional work that needed to be done that really didn't . The original reason we called was not attended to. Unfortunately we agreed to have work done that was unnecessary. The tech came back 3 times and charged us a travel fee to come from Scottsdale to Phoenix 3 times. Recommend extreme caution if you decide to hire this company and be prepared to be cheated with no recourse.

Well- I don't even know where to start. Maybe with the fact that we DID discuss EVERY step before we did anything- and the client AGREED to everything (even signed at the end of EVERY step- approving that the work was done to her satisfaction). YES- we had to come back 3 times because this was a large project that took many hours and you had to lock the school. Next time we'll get a tent and camp outside. The client called us after FOUR months, telling us that she is “not in a hurry to pay” because “Champion School doesn't have money now”- we didn't even charge her any late fees- because she said they have no money to pay now and asked for extension. THEN, after a few MONTHS, when we called and couldn't get thru to her, we had to send a letter from our lawyer, and only at that point, all of a sudden, there are “technical” issues- MONTHS after the service was done. Even though we knew that Carolyn is just trying to get away from paying the invoice, We DID offer to come by and fix (we have Emails to prove it) even though our warranty is for 10 days- we "extended” it to 4 months. We asked the client to Email us with the technical “issues” that she has now- and NEVER got any reply (a couple of months ago) HOW DARE YOU lie about this? We went above and beyond to satisfy you, and discounted several hundreds of dollars to make it easier on you, and this is what we get? How can you even think about writing this review when we didn't even charge you late fees (till now) even though your invoice is over 6 months past due ? It's amazing what people will do to get away from paying their bills ! We have chased this client and tried to explain to her what $1400 means to a small business. Some people are just rude and don't care. We have signed invoices that approve that the client was completely satisfied with the service. Not even ONCE she told us about any technical issues ! She ONLY kept telling us that this is a school that doesn't have too much funds to pay large invoice- SO WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU APPROVE THE WORK THAT WE QUOTED YOU FOR ?!?! We quoted the client for the work that she explained to us over the phone, and we based it on the information she gave us because we never service her before. After we arrived and checked the actual needs she had, we EXPLAINED to her that the info she gave us initially was wrong and not complete, and we PROVIDED the client with the New and Correct way to approach the issues and fix her problems. This is the only way we could have started working. Our technicians do not work on client’s networks before we get the client’s approval. How can she argue about this if she signed THREE different invoices approving the work and process each day ? THE CLIENT APPROVED and we started the work. again- we have SIGNED invoices that support ALL of this, and PROVE that this client is being disgustingly dishonest. The only thing I feel that my company did wrong in this case is not to take this client to court- which i plan to fix immediately. We have all the signed documents and all the Emails to prove that she is only trying to get away from paying her bill for work that was done to her satisfaction, and her excuse was (for the first 4 months) that she doesn't have money to pay. Amazing how this reason became "technical issues" and that we didn't explain her what the work would be etc. - Champion School- this member- SHAME ON YOU for lying and bad-mouthing a company that went above and beyond to save you money, and complete the work, and not take you to court or charge you late fees. We will see you in court very soon and we'll be VERY HAPPY to post the judgment on this website- so everyone can see how horrible of a person you are! SHAME ON YOU!

When I first called, gave the person I spoke to my name and email address, she wrote it down incorrectly after I had spelled it out for her - As a result, I did not receive the forms and confirmation in an email as I was told. I called back, she repeated my email address and it was incorrect. I spelled it again for her and asked for the forms to be sent. Once again, she did not get the right address, misspelling my name - and I didn't get the forms again. When I tried to ask for her to spell it back to me, she seemed too busy and hung up. I called a third time, spoke to someone else and they discoverd the name was still spelled incorrectly. Finally, the forms arrived - the ones they want us to have before they come and do the work. The assistant arrived late on the day of the service, but stayed for a very long time trying everything possible to get the TV to work within my computer. I have no issues with the person who came to the house.
Description of Work: Attempt to repair my TV on my computer. The assistant was extremely helpful and tried everything possible - but was not able to correct the problem.

Click representative arrived within 2 hours of my call for help. He was very professional, friendly, and was able to solve our computer problems so my husband could continue working. They connected me remotely while on the phone with the tech. They called to tell me the time for the assessment and it was on time. They were good and fixed the problems. They quoted me a price for hour and it took a little over 1/2, so I was charged accordingly. There was a problem with billing though. I gave them my credit card prior to work and then got a bill - I assumed it would be paid by the card. They also did not give any discount for getting them from Angie's list and I assumed that by me telling them that in our first communication it would be credited. I was still very satisfied with the process and feel the company is a good one and will use them again for sure.

Dealing with Click Computer Services exceeded our expectations from our first contact. After inquiring about our needs, our telephone representative asked a few pertinent questions about our problems, ensuring that they were problems that could not be solved on our part, thus eliminating the need for a service call. We were able to get a technician on the same day each time we needed them. We worked with two technicians, both of whom were knowledgeable, professional and extremely pleasant. When one of the computers required attention at Click's computer diagnostic center, we got it back the next day. Our experience has been positive from beginning to end. We will definitely continue to use this company for our computer needs.

I received prompt responses via email with some follow-up questions and finally with a suggestion of replacing the computer since it just wouldn't be worth the expense of "fixing up" the old PC. I am impressed that this company would prefer to lead me in the best direction for me rather than leading me down the path of expense for me and income for them. They spent the time to give me advice for free. Any time I need an actual repair - these are my go-to-guys!

I tried doing all this myself and apparently I'm not as good as I thought at this type of thing because I completely lost my secure wireless network and even couldn't get my lan to work. Forget about printing anything. On my call to this company, the receptionist offered some suggestions to make sure I had tried everything I should have to fix it myself. After assuring her I had, she set up the appointment for the next day. The tech was a couple of minutes early. He was very knowledgeable and got right work. He fixed the problems in exactly 1 hour and it all cost what was quoted over the phone. I also received an Angie's List discount that was not mentioned on the call, so that was a little bonus at the end. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Description of Work: Installed wireless internet on laptop, setup wireless printing to laptop. Cleaned up performance on desktop computer and setup printing to desktop computer. Defraged both units. Left literature to assist in the future with possible problems.

The response time for both visits was wonderful, even early! Both technicians went immediately to work, told me what they were doing, answered my numerous questions, and made helpful suggestions. Even the office manager was super helpful when I got confused with my new computer and how to accomplish some tasks, and I know she was very busy! I would recommend them to anyone, and especially to someone who is not computer savvy, or very current. I would still be trying to get my new computer to turn on, let alone working the way it should!
Description of Work: I owned an older Mac, from the early 1990's, which desperately needed an upgraded browser. An intensive review of the system in place indicated that any upgrade would be approximately half the cost of a new computer! Options, necessary and unnecessary, for how the computer would be used were discussed in depth, making it easier to decide what to look for. Once my new computer arrived, all the data from my old computer was transferred to the new, and MANY of my questions were answered very patiently. When I had an unexpected question, I called the office, twice, and was helped very successfully over the phone. My old computer was "scrubbed" and was taken away.

The technician was very prompt and professional. I asked him a ton of questions about downloading software, sharing files, iTunes, etc. He provided lots of options to fix the computer and allowed me to choose. I have used Geek Squad at Best Buy in the past and felt they were horrible. I would for sure recommend Click.
Description of Work: The technician came out because our laptop was not working at all. The technician cleaned up the laptop and installed new virus protection software. He also installed virus protection software on our desktop similar to a Norton Anti-Virus program. Part of the cost included two separate two-year licensing agreements for each computer.

It went fabulously! A tech spoke with me about the problem on the phone before coming out, then was at our home within 3 hours. No time was wasted...he didn't repeat the same troubleshooting steps I had already done, but went right to work at a higher level of expertise. He was totally professional, but with a very relaxed and friendly demeanor. He explained every thing he did, and the reasons for it, as we wanted to know and understand. He didn't try to spook us with hokey-pokey high-tech talk that some companies do to keep clients dependent on them. We were thrilled that our problems were resolved 4 hours after our initial call. And we weren't even return clients with a huge system.
Description of Work: We had a mystery home network problem where 2 of 4 ports wouldn't work, and one of 3 computers couldn't connect to 2 ports that worked on other computers. I spent countless days trying to resolve the problem myself, talking with multiple tech guys at server company, original installer, and router manufacturer ... two service calls from tech repair folks who couldn't find the problems. I checked Angie's List for home networking companies, called a few, and selected Click Computer Services because they sounded more confident that they could solve the problem, gave discount for Angie's List members, charged less than others for the transportation time. The problems were solved within one hour. Total charge was $122, including parts. The tech enabled the network card on one computer (a computer setting we didn't know about), and replaced some short cables that were not providing a signal.

In discussion with the company they clearly explained their charges, policies and what they thought the problem was. The technician arrived on the stated time frame and was very pleasant and efficient. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered my many questions. The entire process was very efficient and Shawn was excellent. It is now good to have a computer services company to contact when I have computer problems.

I called to make an appointment and they made one for about two days later. The tech arrived early and went straight to work. Not much chit-chat, went straight to the computer and fixed the problems we were experiencing.
Description of Work: The tech arrived and did standard but extensive hard-drive and start-up cleaning which cleared up the problems we were experiencing. He also left the applications on the computer so we can perform the cleaning ourselves in the future. We also got a free mouse pad, letter opener and pen! It took him just under an hour, so we paid for the minimum one hour labor charge plus the travel fee. They subtracted 20% for an Angie's List member, which basically covered the trip charge.

They cleaned up three computers, and added a newer, stronger routing system, so that my daughter could pick up internet service in her room. My sons computer needs a new video card, however he did get a few of the games running better, and now we know how to fix this additional problem. It would have been nice if they had the video card and then they could have installed it directly. Now we still have to go the store and then install it ourselves.
Description of Work: We just needed a computer specialist to come out and fix our family computers which were running slowly and in some cases not properly. The specialist did need to come back and finish up some work which was incomplete, but they came back the same day and completed the job.

Technician arrived within the appointed window we had agreed upon. He asked what problems we were experiencing and the tech began with my wife's computer. He removed several items from the start-up menu, updated all of the software being used, and did a series of diagnostic tests to confirm that the computer was operating better then when he arrived. He also installed several programs to help with spy-ware and other Internet evils. He then did the same checks on our other computer which needed fewer updates and now runs faster then before also. He was polite, efficient and left a detailed record of what he did and the breakdown of the charges for their work. He also left a new customer packet that contained a referral form giving that person the same 20% discount we received by being Angie's list members.
Description of Work: Complete diagnostic check of two computers, removed several unneeded programs, cleaned up others, and eliminated several items that were slowing down the performance of each system. He also checked to make certain all of our programs were up to date as well as loading a couple of programs to help combat spy-ware, spam e-mail and other malicious code from the Internet.

I don't know if the $25 travel charge was reasonable or not but I chose to use Click because the owner was a woman and I want to support women in business. In addition to $25 travel, Click charges $75/hr, which I think is high. Because of hourly charge, I don't know if I will use them again, although it is so convenient that they come to my home and that they did a good job. It will depend on other companies I get estimates from and if they come to the home. Gavin, the technician, was most polite and conscientious. After he completed his work, he tested the computer, CD/DVD drive, and software to ensure that it was operating correctly. He explained how the software and hardware worked and had me operate it so I would know what to do after he left. The drive was new, in the box, and reasonably priced. Before I made the appointment, Christina, the Owner, gave me information on different drives I could purchase; so, I could make an informed decision.
Description of Work: I purchased and had a new CD/DVD ROM Drive installed, including software that came with it. Click charged me $25 for travel time and $75/hr for installation and work done. I don't remember cost of CD/DVD drive, but they sold to me the same price they paid for it and it was surprisingly inexpensive (?$50 or $60 maybe). The total of $116.13 included CD/DVD Rom Drive, $25 travel time, & installation. Representative, Gavin, came to my home, which was convenient and important to me.
