John answered the phone, we discussed our electrical needs and pricing; scheduled the NEXT day! Prompt, courteous, professional, explained how and what to do in relation to the boxes and did exactly the job we discussed in the allotted time given~ Castle is in our address book!

John and his team arrived on time to quote my electrical job of adding can lighting to my ceiling and moving electrical from a wall tear down on a remodeling project. They then showed up on time daily and finished the job on time and on estimate. I was very please with the knowledge that they had in the electric field as well as their quality of work. John's entire team was very professional and I would not hesitate to hire them again and refer them out to friends and family. As a contractors daughter, I have had plenty of experience dealing with different tradesmen and I cannot say enough positive remarks about Castle Electric. They never hesitated will quoting the project or completing the project, when in the past I have had people look at me (a house wife) and start to tell me how difficult a job would be in hopes of gaining more money. Castle Electric is honest, professional, dependable and reliable.

John returned my initial call and scheduled the appointments quickly. He is courteous, prompt, attentive to detail and did a great job. He returned to do additional electrical work for us. I would recommend him highly.

Recently sold our house and the GFCI outlet in the garage was no longer tripping when tested. So, I went out to Home Depot and figured that this would be something that I could easily replace myself. After all, there's already an GFCI outlet there and all I have to do is line up the existing wires on the old GFCI to the new GFCI. Or so I thought. After hooking everything up and making sure that I was very meticulous about lining up the line wires and the load wires and everything else, the new GFCI wasn't working and stayed in tripped mode instead of resetting. After taking it apart again and doing it all over again, I finally gave up and decided to call an expert! Searched Angie's list, of course and found Castle Electric and gave them a call. John Marenghi answered the phone and I described the situation to him. We setup a time on the same day and he showed up promptly. After taking the new GFCI out of the outlet, he studied it a bit and then asked me to bring him the old, broken GFCI outlet. He pointed out how the new GFCI was much thinner than the old, 13 year old, model. He then explained that with these new, thinner, GFCI outlets that the manufacturer had swapped the line and load positions as compared to the older models. So, John swapped the wires and low and behold, the GFCI outlet was working properly and tripped when tested! Oh well, rookie mistake! At least I learned something new that day! John was very understanding and gave me a break on the service call since it was such an easy fix. Actually more of a training lesson for me. Thank you, John!

The previous home owner was supposed to box up all of the loose wires found in the initial inspection.. they forgot a few so John found the remaining ones and closed them up. John and his team were very nice guys, hard working and were very detail oriented.

Castle Electrical & Lighting cleaned everything. They worked very quickly. They showed up and did their jobs really fast, as quickly as they could. They were respectful of my home and my family living in the home, while they were working. They worked around my schedule when they had to.

Called John and he came by for an estimate the very same afternoon. A fair price and a nice job and yes, I will use him again. All around good experience.

They were timely, had all required supplies, very professional and cleaned the work site. Would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

John, the owner of Castle Electric, came to give me a second estimate after another company on Angie's list really shocked me with their price for the work their serviceman said I needed. I had asked that company to come out because they were the first responders and I had no electricity at all in my entire house. Castle Electric's estimate was literally one-tenth that of the other company. We arranged for John to come a week later and do lots of other work because I trusted him. The work was done with utmost professionalism by John and 2 of his helpers. It was done quickly and neatly and at an extremely reasonable price. I am so happy to have found MY electrician and thankful to Angie's list for the reviews of Castle Electric.

Very efficient, on time and charged less than estimate.

My first contact was a prompt call back after inquiry via Angie's List, he was able to provide a firm quote and we scheduled the appointment. John arrived on time, he evaluated the work requested and went about it in a professional manner, suggesting and showing best practices in his trade. He installed 2 ceiling fans at 10 and 12 feet. Also corrected work done by HVAC technician on Air Handler and repaired RV outside outlet.

Mr. John Marenghi was the electrician.

Came on short notice (next day) to install a dining room chandelier before Thanksgiving. Called to let us know he was running a little late and came with the right tools and equipment, the chandelier had to be mounted 14 ft above the floor. Did a professional job and would hesitate to recommmend them to anyone. We had the new chadelier for our Thanksgiving dinner.

He was friendly, accommodating, on time and responded with efficient next day service as we were pressed for time. He preformed the services above, was clean (no mess after), good price and very skilled.

I contacted John after joining Angie's List, as i was in need of an electrician. He was able to come over quickly & take a look at what I needed done, and provide an estimate. I had an original date set that I had to cancel, so I later called him back & was able to reschedule. John was prompt in coming to my house when he said he would, and the one time he was running a few minutes late, he called to tell me when he would be here. I had a few outside electrical outlets needing replacement. John got right to work immediately, he had all the necessary tools & was able to quickly fix my problem. He also took the time to explain to me what was going on & what needed to be fixed. Not knowing electrical work at all, he explained everything to me so I would understand it.I think overall the work I needed was somewhat minor, but John helped me out & fixed what I needed.

John showed up on time, as scheduled. He quickly assessed the problem with the landscape lights and repaired the problem. He then checked the patio fan and, after thoroughly testing the electrical connections, determined the fan motor was destroyed.

We first met John nearly five years ago when he moved into our 1994 home. He has performed various electrical jobs for us - we would not use anyone else! He calls ahead, has a very friendly manner and has done every job perfectly.

John always exceeds my expectations. He is there on time, even if it is 8 a.m. His great work ethics is "normal" to him but not necessarily to the industry. You can't go wrong. You will get what you need in a timely manner at a fair price.
