Castle electric was able to come the very same day I called. He was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He quickly solved the problem and proceeded to fix it. All this and very quickly.

John and Trevor were terrific! They were professional, polite, thorough and knowledgeable. I would recommend them without hesitation. I will recommend them to all my family and friends as well.

He identified the problem ("two circuit breakers were fried") quickly and, at my request replaced those and 5 others in a box that was over 30 years old. I was back in business within 45 minutes. John will be my Scottsdale electrician and will be recommended to friends in the neighborhood.

John was very professional, on-time and very courteous. He assessed the circuit breaker problem thoroughly and replaced the breaker. He also inspected another problem area and promised write an estimate for fixing the problem. We will definitely use his services again.

Our desire was to up-date the electrical system in an older home (53-years-old) to get it ready to sell. John from Castle Electric arrived on time to do an estimate first. Given our stated goal of correcting any safety/code related issues with the home in order to avoid corrective actions from an inspection, John suggested what was and was not necessary to do. He did not try to push extra work into the project to drive up the cost. We had a second company do an estimate for the same work and they were considerably more expensive and did push for additional work that really wasn't necessary. John and his crew worked for two-days to complete the work. They were on time, did what was stated in the quote and came in under the quoted price in the bid ($3400 versus $3700) since they were able to combine two of the electrical panels into one. There was only one minor issue, which was that they did not have the parts to install the outdoor outlet under one of the breaker panels and had to return a couple of weeks later to complete this one last item. Not a big deal, and I didn't have to hound him to do it - he remembered it on his own. The happy ending is that the day the electrical work was finished, we received an offer on the house that was 9% above our asking price. We close the sale in one-week from the day I'm writing this review. Overall, we were very pleased with John and Castle Electric - they were fair, honest, and diligent in their work and business practices. We would use them again.

RE: CASTLE ELECTRICAL & LIGHTING My husband and I were fully satisfied with this company. We had an urgent situation when we needed to have a 110 outlet installed for a new washing machine already scheduled for delivery on Monday. We called Castle on Friday around 4PM and John (the owner) answered the phone. My husband told him what we needed and John said that he will call back after 15 minutes since he was driving and needed to check his schedule. He called as promised and told us that he will squeeze the job in on the next day, Saturday, around 11AM. He arrived right on time and introduced himself. From our initial conversation we felt comfortable with him and his skill level. He is a real gentleman, very professional and easy to talk to. John ran the required dedicated circuit line for the new washer, and my husband also asked if he could run a second dedicated circuit line to our bathroom for a future project. He accommodated us without any problem. He was done around 2PM. He cleaned and vacuumed his work areas and his price was fair and reasonable. We are so happy that we hired the right company and found a highly qualified electrician for all our future needs. We read the reviews for this company and everybody gave an ?A? rating. Castle has handled all of their jobs at our house quickly and efficiently. They arrive early and make good time finishing the work. All the work we've had done has been great. Castle is good about sticking to their estimates. They respond quickly to calls, including last minute. Owner John is a great guy, a pleasure to have in your home and works well with other contractors.

I had John come out to remove the old Acrylic Lens lighting from my kitchen an install recessed lighting. He was a true professional and got the job done with no issues and even gave me tips for other jobs. I would highly recommend Castle Electric to anyone, matter of fact I am going to call them for additional work.

Travis was my electrician. Arrived on time, and got right to work when he understood the problem.Was a nice guy, and he did good work. Very capable worker.

John made a couple of visit to my house to inspection/understand the situation. It is an older home (built in 1938) with a mix of old wiring and new. Additionally, I have an old fuse box in the house. John did a good inspection of everything and gave me a good list of options. Once we agreed on what I wanted done, he was on time and did everything that he said he would do. I would use Castle Electric again.

They were excellent. They came out very quickly because we were leaving soon. They immediately saw what the problem was and looked at everything. They figured out which ones needed to be repaired. He wore booties in the house which I thought was very considerate and professional.

I cannot say enough good things about John. He called when he said he would; he showed up when he said he would; he knew what he was doing and took much care of my furniture and belongings. I was so happy with John's service that I asked him to come back to do more work for me!

John and team got started right away and completed the whole effort in the time I had expected. They meticulously labeled the drywall remnants removed to complete the work to assist the drywall crew patch that will follow with the door work. Although, I didn't have the new lights purchased yet, John made it clear they will return to install them and that I only had to pay 75% of the cost until the lights were installed. Although I very much appreciated the offer, I was confident in his word and paid him for the full install upon completion of the wire re-route

John, is a rare find in this current world of lack of customer service. He was polite, professional, punctual, called ahead of arriving to my home. All four issues were resolved. Castle Electric is excellent A+. :)

The first time I contact Castle things went great. Prompt, responsive, efficient and totally professional. He explained the process of what he was doing and what caused the issue that occurred. He arrived at my home about an hour after I made initial contact. I was relieved to know that I have a solid electrical contractor that I thought I count on. He set a tentatively date of the following week to comeback and install a ceiling fan fixture and exterior outlet since he said he would be working in the area for the next few days. After several weeks I had not received a response. I called John and reminded him of the work that I had requested. He said he would contact me later in the day when he finished the job he was currently doing. Unfortunately again, I never received a response.

I recently contacted John Marenghi with Castle Electrical regarding relocating two connection boxes on my backyard patio. John arrived early to check out what needed to be done, told me the most efficient way to accomplish the project, and gave me what I considered a fair priced estimate. He arrived on time to do the job and did what he said needed to be done. On time, very nice, very efficient. We were very impressed with them.

We had an unexpected need for electric repair during a present backyard landscaping project. We called several electricians and John was the first to call back. He was able to come over early the next day and get everything repaired so that the backyard project could continue. He was on time, took us through what steps he was taking, and when it was apparent we would need a HAVC guy in conjecture with his repair offered to call someone immediately.The HAVC guy was there within the hour. Everything couldn't have gone more smoothly and was reasonably priced. We will definitely call him back.

In addition to the temporary (and immediate thank goodness) fix, he toured my house and saw the oyhr work,I was asking about-mostly outside lighting, etc. He had some good suggestions and was extremely professional. Again this makes me be a believer in Angie's List and the power of these reviews. I asked John if he had seen the reviews and he seemed rather humbe about them and more interested in just doing a good job for the sake of the work. Also, I will get a consult with John on some indoor lighting ideas - I want to sell my home in the next year and again he had some excellent input.

John was able to come out and help me on a Sat. I needed the work completed in a very short time frame and John more than accommodated that need. Work went smoothly. John was very professional. He explained what he was going to do and went to work. He cleaned up the area afterward. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

John Marenghi performed the electrical work and he subcontracted for the LED strip lights. John was very professional and dependable. He always showed up as scheduled and made multiple trips to accommodate the schedule of our cabinet installers. He does quality work and I highly recommend him.

I called several electricians and John sounded best to me. He promptly came, nice to my large dogs. Service was quick, clean and reasonable. Called back to install move fans and outdoor lighting. Best electrician we have ever had!
