Description of Work: I took my grandfather's gold filled, engraved, pocket watch in to have it cleaned and polished, prior to giving it to my daughter. The watch, an Elgin, has to be at least 120 years old. The watch was cleaned, polished, and believe it or not RUNNING when I returned to pick it up.

 + -1 moreThey replaced batteries in three watches while I waited.
Description of Work: The price of watch batteries keeps going up! So, on a hunt for a jeweler who would do it for a reasonable amount, I found Casablanca Jewelers. They charge $5/per watch. Since I collect inexpensive watches, this can become very expensive over time, especially since everyone else charges $8-$10/per watch. Of course, I'm sure the charge is greater if it's an expensive watch.
