John and his crew were very prompt and finished the job quicker than he had estimated it would take. John also was very accommodating of our time schedule so he was able to get the job done by the time we needed to have it done. He personally did the texturizing for us because our existing style was a little smaller than what his crew usually did and he wanted to make sure that it matched our existing decking. His crew did a great job on the rest of the work, too. We will definitely contact him again if we need any other work of this type done.

I spoke with the company about brick refinishing and even though I made it clear I was just looking for information, he was very patient and quite generous with his time and knowledge--which was very extensive. Based on our conversation, if I were to have brick refinishing done, I would definitely give them a call.

I contacted John Trice, Owner of Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing via email on Nov 16, a Saturday afternoon/evening. He responded very promptly by email and asked me to give him a call on Monday to discuss my needs. I spoke to him on Monday and he said he could do what I needed and would be happy to come by and give an estimate. We set a date for Thursday Nov 21. He did come over and we had an in-depth discussion about what needed to be done and what he would suggest and what he would do step by step. It was very informative. He gave us a written estimate. The next day I asked if he could return so we could show him some driveways in our area that we liked and some we did not like. He happen to be working in our area again that day so came over. We showed him several driveways both good and bad and he pointed out things that were good about them and things that were not so good about them. He advised what he would do differently. Again, very interesting conversation with someone who seems to have a passion for his work. We decided to hire John and his crew to do our driveway refinishing. He could not start until the first Monday in January of 2014 but said he would call us if things changed and he could move us up. John was good about communicating and did call us about the second week in December to say he might have an opening over Christmas week if we would like to have the work done then. As we had no special plans or guests arriving then we were pleased to get the project started sooner. True to his word, his workers arrived at 7am Dec. 23, and got started right a way. It was an all day job for two workers on their hands and knees with electric grinders grinding off the old, worn, dirty epoxy finish. They had large vacuums attached to the grinders so that helped keep a great deal of the grinding dust down. There was still a lot of dust but that could not be prevented. The next morning same workers arrived again and this time power washed the newly ground concrete. They then left to let it get good and dry and also had Christmas on the 24th and 25. The morning of the 26th workers back with all the things needed to put down the first coat of the new finish. John came to personally put down the "design" of the first coat as we wanted a somewhat different effect than what they usually do. John made sure I was happy with the "swirls and dips" etc. He was eager to do several tests to be sure it was what I liked. Once we decided on the perfect effect he continued to do the entire driveway. That coat had to dry completely before the "color coats" could be applied. So the next day John and 3 workers arrived first thing in the morning to get started applying the colors. This too was a little different than what the normally do as I wanted the color look to be similar in color to our entry tile. The men made up several sample boards so I could see what the colors would look like applied in different ways. We finally came up with what we all felt would be perfect. So with 4 men, each with a different color to apply they got started. It was interesting and fun to watch them do their artistry! When all the color was applied we then had to let it all dry again. That was a Saturday. The following Monday morning all returned to apply the final "clear top coat". This went on pretty fast and looked really shiny. That coat had to dry for the rest of the day. The following day John and one worker returned to caulk all the driveway "joints". This really finished off the entire project. Today is January 4th and this is the first day we are able to remove the "barriers" and actually drive the car into the garage over the new driveway! The driveway looks fantastic! It is truly an original, one of a kind driveway! We are very pleased with the finished product and very very pleased with the good work and service provided by John Trice and Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing. John gave me a wonderful idea regarding design. Did a great job with the project. I am pleased with the results.

John Trice came out and provided a quote three ways. He said our existing patio could be cleaned and painted or completely resurfaced and painted. He gave us a quote both ways. He additionally quoted an addition we were considering. We opted that same day to go with the addition and a complete resurface. Later that week John and his cement contractor came out to discuss pouring the addition. One week later it was poured. Working together we decided to add a curve to the addition. After a couple weeks drying time John and staff came out to do the resurfacing. The first day a thin layer of cement was laid. The next day masking was done and the texturing was put down. The day after the texturing was smoothed and painted. The final day the masking was removed and touch up painting completed the project. Everything was completed in the agreed timeframe. The cement contractor as well as John's staff did a great job. They were professional and friendly. Everything was cleaned up so we didn't have to do any of that. Additionally, John left us paint for any touch up and to paint step stones to match our cool decking. I have already recommended Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing and John to two neighbors.

Within a few hours of calling the owner, John Trice, he was at our doorstep. He surveyed the deck area, made his measurements, delivered us an informal price quotation which was later confirmed by e-mail exchange. He proposed a couple of start dates, the later of which was more suitable for us. They arrived on schedule and adhered to the written proposal.. Generally the work was performed precisely according to the written proposal, in daily stages until complete. Power wash, then repairing existing concrete (including several panels which received an overlay of fresh concrete and then were texturized). Then priming of entire deck area and finally painting. The team also removed patio furniture and restored it after the work was complete.

I contacted John Trice of Arrowhead Deck Resurfacing to give me a quote on resurfacing the cool deck around my pool and surfacing with a matching knock down finish on an additional 1200 square feet of contiguous patio. John was very prompt and provided a detailed quote that was very competitive. I agreed to the quote, and we set the start date for the project. He and his crew arrived on time and were very professional in explaining the complete timeline for the project. The project from start to finish was very professional with respect to caring for my landscaping, covering and taping all non coated surfaces, and the cleanup after the job was done everyday. The end result was beyond my expectations, and I am a very hard person to please. The finished product can be summed up in on word, Fantastic! They did a great job power washing and repaired cracks and chips and painted old cool decking around my pool, patio, and sidewalk leading to back gate. I really appreciate all your hard work to get the job done on time. Everything looks great! I would use Arrowhead decking again in the future.

John is the ultimate professional. When the rain ruined the freshly resurfaced patio, determined to make it right, John stripped the new surface away and applied a new surface. In addition, the water feature appeared to be a bland color, so John reapplied the three colors again until the colors reflected the appearance we expected. The workmen could not have been nicer. They were polite and helpful whenever I had a question. Highly recommend John and his crew.

John quickly responded to my inquiry and scheduled almost immediately to come give us a free estimate. He and my husband talked about the details of the project and John was thoughtful and professional about the timing and price. We ended up needing to wait several weeks prior to having the work complete, but John still honored the written amount after that time period. The work was scheduled to take a week, and it was finished in four days. The men started early in the morning and were not disruptive to us at all. They also did a great job prepping the area and cleaning up. The only recommendation I would give other home owners in the future would be to cover your pool, as much of the inevitable material and dust gets in the pool. We would absolutely recommend John and use him in the future.

John came out for the estimate and was very professional. I could tell from the start that he would be easy to work with and very knowledgeable. He also seemed very confident in the repairs that were needed. He took his time to explain what he would do, start to finish. I cannot possible say enough good things about this company. First, the owner, John Trice actually answers his phone himself - something which is a rarity in this business. It doesn't take long in the converstaion before you realize the passion this man has for his work and for pleasing his customers. At a time when customer service buzz words are thrown around gratuitously, this man truly means it. And even though I live way out in Fountain Hills, he promptly set up an appointment to give an estimate. Now on to the work. Louie and Sergio arrived every day on time, as scheduled, and worked extremely hard - during an excessive heat warning, I might add. Beyond this, they were true artists. I loved it when after they laid down the skin coat they said - "this is the canvas we'll be working off of." And this was the other experience that was completely unique. Most home remodel projects range from somewhere between a headache to a nightmare. This one was pure fun. They actually want your input and ideas around color, surface texture, etc., and are willing to play with stuff until they hit the mark. And they don't do this grudgingly - in fact - just the opposite. It felt like a fun, creative process from start to finish, that I was actually a part of. Instead of being told that I'd have to live with something that I didn't want- I got exactly what I wanted. Color, texture, tile shape - everything. And the quality of the work was exceptional. They transformed my plane drab slab to what I now call, "my private Italian villa." And when they finished the job, they left the sight as clean as they found it. The price was extremely reasonable - and there were no "add ons" or surprises like I got on bids from other companies. And what they estimated was my final price. It's one of the few times in my life when I've been happy to write a check when the work was complete. You can go and get other quotes - I certainly did - but I can't imagine getting a higher quality job for this price, by a better group of guys. I've already bugged my neighbors to see the finished project and have passed their name along gladly.

He was pretty nice. He let my husband help and my husband likes that he is shown how things are done.

The 12 year old lace pool deck needed to be replaced and we also decided to include our patio which was concrete. John was great to work with. He provided us with two options and pricing - the original lace decking or a color sealed flagstone look. We chose the flagstone look. The whole project took 3 days, the team arrived every day on time and left the area cleaned each night. John provided updates at the end of the day to let us know what was completed and what the next steps would be. John worked with us to chose the colors that would best work together. He listened to what we were looking for in looks and his suggestions for coordinating colors were right on. He even offered to do a sample block so we would have a better idea of what the colors would look like. When it was time to start the coloring, knowing we had to go to work, he arrived early to clean a section of the deck and colored the area with me there. We were able to discuss what needed to be darker or lighter and he waited till I was satisfied with the color of the area. What a great work ethic! We had no surprises and he had no rework because we worked together to have it done right the first time. Once the final clear coating was added, the look was amazing! John has great customer service - his goal is to make you happy with the experience and the look of the finished product. I would recommend him and his team to anyone.

They came and did the work for 5 days in a row. Then spent approx 5 hrs each day & bring the worker in the stages that were explained & me before the job began.

George Watson and his staff were great. Professional, did great work. We liked them so much, that we hired them a week later to paint our house exterior plus walls, gate, front door. A different crew but the same great professionalism and service orientation. Very fair price!

John Trice was more knowledgeable than three other quoters and gave a fairer price. Work was completed ahead of schedule. The crew were skilled and cleaned up well. The deck looks like new and we are delighted. You can trust Arrowhead to do a great job at a fair price.

Call to schedule an appointment and set the time for that afternoon. Called back anhour laterand said he had a cancelllation and could be over in 30 minutes. Very impressed. Provided samples of his work and gave numerous suggestions on not only doing the cool deck. but also extending the work onto the patio. John broke the quote out into numerous options - standard cool decking for the pool and then for the patio. Then separate quotes to flagstone on pool deck and then just the patio. Told me work could be done in pieces, do cool deck now, patio later or all at once. Also said estimate was good for as long as we wanted. So if next year we wanted to do the patio, his price quote was still valid. Excellent customer service. Will schedule to have work done once other outside work is completed.
