Steve Palello repaired leaks in our above-ground Jacuzzi spa. He responded promptly to our call; provided a price-quote for the project rather than an hourly rate; arrived the next day as scheduled; located several leaks (a cracked light housing and several dried seals); replaced parts immediately (he had them with him); resealed edges; and tightened joints. We had been losing an inch of water every 2-to-3 days--Steve cautioned us that there could be other leaks, but our water level is holding. The labor cost was as-quoted, and parts were reasonably priced. The total combined cost, including tax, was $177.22. It was difficult to find someone who would repair an above-ground spa; work in our area; or provide a project quote, rather than an hourly rate (some ranged from $60 per hour to $89.95 per 1/2 hour!). We located Northwest Valley Pool Specialists here on Angie's List, and Josh referred us to Steve Palello (Northwest doesn't work on above-ground spas).
