Aqua Sentry Pools

I had an LED color pool light installed last spring. Over the summer we noticed a strange color line and inquired about it. Someone came out during daylight hours, where you can't tell anything with a pool light, and only found their installation to be faulty. Initially they wanted to charge both parts and labor to correct it. However, I declined paying the labor as it should have been done correctly the first time but they still charge for the part. Regarding the original issue of the strange line, I still have that and they will not return calls or emails. The saddest part is that the light itself is WELL within the manufacturer's warranty -- replacing would only be a a trip out which could be done whenever they are around.

They did summer Pool Service for us. Came each week as scheduled. When the pool pump had a leak I called them. The technician came out as scheduled, on-time and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part and then came out to install it. They are my "go to" pool guys. I would not use anyone else.

Pool cleaning & chemical balance, they seem to do a fine job. However they "sold" me on buying a pool acid wash & tile "ring around the collar" service.........while we did have a 'purple' color to the vacuum, being a first time pool owner, I'm not positive what may have been the root cause of the purple color - but agreed to both the acid wash & ring around the collar pressure washing. The purple did go away - and so did the 'ring', initially. Unfortunately the ring returned in 90 days - so the $450 for the removal of the ring, was wasted money - from a home & pool owner's perspective. Perhaps with more experience, I may have challenged the need for the ring removal, with all of the hard water in AZ, but now, I doubt that I would agree to spending that much, and opt for a slower and more chemical dependent process to remove the ring. I do feel they may have taken a slight advantage of me..........buyer be ware. If not for this specific instance, I would give them higher grades.......sorry Aqua Sentry, but I've got to call it like I see it.

Not having any experience with pool operations before I did not know where to start. I stopped in the store on Via Linda & Frank Lloyd Wright and explained my situation to the Salesperson. He said they offered a one hour "Pool 101" class which sounded just like what I needed. I called and set an appointment. Pool Technician Keith came to our house and showed us what we needed to know about pool operation-he was great! When I needed some supplies I went back to the above mentioned store. The Salesperson (who seemed like a seasoned Pool Technician) gave me his opinion as to what would fit my needs...which I bought and they are working great.

We have dogs and they were supposed to call ahead so we could have the dogs in. They did not call. When I heard the dogs going crazy, the Aqua Sentry tech was already in the backyard and was teasing the dogs. When I confronted him, he told me it was his practice to "make sure the dogs are safe." He told me he was going for parts and never returned. When I called the company, they told me he recognized my house from work done 5 years prior and that I stole his shovel (disclaimer: he forgot his shovel at the worksite and did not pick it up after we left a message at the shop -- its worth somewhere around $3.00). At the second pool, he refused to install the salt system because "he was worried he would break a pipe." So long story made short, Aqua Sentry is under new ownership. Pat and Wally sold the company last year. The new owners behaved as described above.

Experienced several no-shows. Company never called to say they would not make it during scheduled period. Always had an excuse. Refused to discount service to offset the inconvenience. Clearly does not value its customers' time. Experienced similar issues when company failed to properly make a repair, resulting in a o-ring failing and my yard flooding. Had another instance where we gave to repairman a glass of water. After he had his drink, he used our glassware to scoop DE. Need I say more?

THIS POOL COMPANY PROVIDED ME WITH GREAT SERVICE AND PROVIDED ME WITH A REBUILT MOTOR AND POOL SWEEP AT A NICE PRICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS IF ASKED FOR THIS TYPE OF SERVICE.

I CALLED THE COMPANY AFTER THE POOL MOTOR WOKE US UP AT NIGHT MAKING A TERRIBLE NOISE. THEY WERE OUT AT THE HOUSE THE NEXT MORNING AND REPLACED THE FILTER QUICKLY. THEY TESTED THE SYSTEM TO MAKE SURE IT WORKED. IT IS RUNNING QUIETER THAN EVER. THE TECHNICIAN ALSO CHECKED ALL THE OTHER COMPONENTS TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING PROPERLY. THEY WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROMPT.

AQUA SENTRY HAS HELPED US FIX MANY THINGS WITH OUR POOL. THEY GENERALLY WILL SHOW YOU HOW TO FIX THINGS, WITHOUT REPLACING THEM. THIS HAS SAVED US A LOT OF MONEY. THEY ARE CHEERFUL AND ALWAYS UP TO THE CHALLENGE. THEY ARRIVE WHEN PROMISED AND ARE PREPARED. THEY COMMUNICATE WITH YOU AS THE JOB PROGRESSES.

THIS COMPANY IS ALWAYS VERY PROMPT ON GETTING OUT TO OUR HOUSE. THEIR SERVICE MEN ARE WELL TRAINED AND CAPABLE OF HANDLING ANY PROBLEM. THEY MAKE SURE THE AREA THEY WORK IN IS CLEANED UP BEFORE THEY LEAVE AND THAT THE EQUIPMENT IS WORKING PROPERLY.
