ACME Locksmith / Saguaro Lock and Safe

I purchased 2 new keys for my truck from an online retailer. I went to the local box stores and they couldn't cut them. After an internet search I found Acme Locksmith/ Saguaro Lock and Safe in Scottsdale. Not only did they cut my new keys but they offered advice on programming them as they had recent experience with another customer who had trouble. When I asked "how much" he said no charge. I refused and gave him a few dollars for his time. Outstanding!!

This was a $39 big deal purchase. It worked out really well. They had another fee for the service so it was more than $39. It did not take them very long to do the service because it was over the holidays. There were some vacation days or something in there and it was quite fine with me the way they scheduled.

My lock on my entry door hung up, 8 or 9 months ago. They were good! They were punctual, very pleasant to talk to, down to earth, very professional.

The service was excellent. The service man (sorry, I cannot remember his name) made useful suggestions for the maintenance and improved function of other locks in the house.

They did a great job. I would recommend this company.

Irv arrived right on time. He came early in the morning as I requested since I had obligations later in the morning. He went right to work re-keying several doors. Everything was done in just under two hours and he was professional and very knowledgeable of what I needed. He took the time at the end to explain the inner-workings of my front door which has been very beneficial for me. I will be using them again in the near future.

The technician Irv was right on time and very professional and courteous. He checked the lock, lubricated and cleaned it in a matter of minutes. The price was exactly what was quoted over the phone, which was very reasonable. I was very pleased with the service and would totally recommend them to anyone needing a locksmith.

Our daughter needed to have her house re-keyed for security reasons on an emergency basis. We called ACME because of the reviews on Angie's list, explained the situation and Matt was at the house before my husband! Now that is prompt service! Matt went through the house with my husband, showing him where the doors needed additional security, provided that service and re-keyed each door. He explained the type of key he was using would add an additional element of safety to the doors. We would not hesitate to call them again and ask for Matt!

Tech was right on time and finished in 30 minutes, just as he said. Very friendly and not any issues. I will use them again for any future needs.

Locksmith showed up at exactly the time promised and was able to change the locks that same visit. This is the second time using this company, and will use them again in the future!

No issues whatsoever. They were easy to work with and quite professional. They also allowed me to purchase my lock online as it was not in stock, which saved them time and me money--which I greatly appreciate. I would not hesitate to use Saguaro Lock and Safe again or recommend them to others.

When the locksmith arrived, he re-keyed the lock quickly and efficiently. The work he performed was excellent, and for that reason I would call him again. I gave him a overall C rating because I had called the night before and arranged for him to be at my house between 10 and 10:30, and he never showed up. I called him at 11 and he said he was running late and would be there around 11:30. If he had called at 10:30 to say he was running late and would be there at 11:30, I would have given him an A rating. Mark

The only thing that went wrong was an appointment mix-up. My call was scheduled for 8:00-8:30. I never got called that they were on their way, as other members describe. Finally I called the office about 8:40. Sean arrived at 8:50. I had to reschedule a 9:30 meeting, which was irritating but fortunately not critical. Other reports indicate this is rare, so I will assume it was an anomaly and would probably use them again.

Wish I had more locks for the company. It did an excellent job.

The lock on the front door was sticking, and couldn't unlock it from the outside. I called and they scheduled someone to be there within 2 hours. I was called 30 minutes prior to his arrival to let me know he was on the way, and Sean showed up on time and was very friendly. He made quick work of the problem, and the lock is working great. The service was fairly priced and he honored the Angies List coupon for 10% off. Great experience.

Pros: They are time punctualNo need to worry as they know exactly what has to be doneThey also give some great advices (i really )10% discount for Angies list members. Cons: the only thing I dint liked is, to re-set the garage door code they charge you 30$ + All you have to do is push a button and hold it for few seconds? I thought this is not fair

They were very, very good. They were done in 5 minutes, I was concerned because I was in a condo. He was very efficient and came on time.

Called to schedule a re-keying for my home yesterday and they put me right on the schedule for this morning. Sean was my technician, arrived between the time frame that had been given to me, he listened to my request for re-keying, and also my request to look at a couple of deadbolts that were being very cranky. He moved through the job quickly, efficiently and improved the situation with my deadbolts as well. I can now cancel the repair work order with the door company... they take SO long to respond. I'm very pleased with the work done and HIGHLY recommend them. Sean was professional and answered all questions that I had.
