Description of Work: I called this service as I had backed into my garage door as it was going up and had pulled off the seal at the bottom and damaged the door itself. They were easy to get hold of and were able to come round that day to assess the damage and give me a quote. Zach arrived on time and was very understanding when I explained what I had done. He assessed the door and showed me where I had bent the door which explained the reason for the noise when closing it. He said that just the cost of the panel that had been bent would be around $450, but that he would try first to see if he could actually straighten the door with a little manipulation. Zach actually amazed himself by managing to straighten the door so the panel did not need to be replaced and you can hardly tell where the bend was. He also performed a safety check on the door as we had just bought the house so did not know the history of the door, replaced the seal on the bottom and recommended the rollers be replaced as they were just the cheap original rollers, which we had done also. He worked quickly and efficiently and was very polite and knowledgable about the type of door we had which was helpful for us. He cleaned up after himself and actually had a look at our other garage door lift motor and gave us advice about that too. Our garage door now actually runs more smoothly than when we first moved in. I was very impressed with their service and knowledge and will definitely be using them again for any of our garage door issues and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Description of Work: General maintenance. Door was squealing and had issues with shutting all the way due to sticking toward the end. Dan was very professional, on-time, and friendly. He explained the problem well, fixed the door, and I didn't end up feeling like I was sold a bunch of extra stuff that I didn't need, which I really appreciate.

Description of Work: My door was was need of rollers and calibration. I called, Always Open and spoke to Zach who came by the same day and was very professional and courteous. Zach explained what was required to correct the problem and what it would cost. The work took less than one hour. I was very impressed with the service.

Description of Work: My garage door popped off it's track, cracked and stopped working at 5 PM one evening. They were out that same night and quoted me two options of service - a band-aid option and a replacement option. In the mean time they got my door shut overnight and were out with the door the next day. I was thrilled to move forward with the replacement option as the quote was fair, the two people that came out were of high integrity and I ended up getting a bonus. They did not have the color I wanted so I got a free insulated upgrade at NO charge - a $250.00 value. I am thrilled with the work, the company and would recommend them to anyone with no hesitation. I believe this is a team of brothers. They are absolutely awesome!

Description of Work: Garage door was opening OK but making lots of noise, bouncing and rollers were not rolling just sliding. The door was 8 years old and has a cheap builder quality tension spring, good for maybe 11K cycles. We easily surpassed that number. Since I did not want the spring to fail on the first really cold day, I reviewed the A recommended Garage door repair companies on Angie's list and called few. I got the best responses from A Always Open. They had a coupon for $59 off service call (cost of the call)and $20 off any repair. I liked the way the owner offered advise and scheduled an appointment. Zack, the owner's son arrived within the appointment window and (called to tell me he was 20 minutes out). Zack arrived neat and clean and ready to look at the door. He agreed with his dad, these springs were soon to go and it would be a better strategy to install 2 smaller springs using springs rated at 30K cycles. That was quoted with coupon at $140. After opening the door manually, Zack noticed the door was lacking a center support and sagging when opening and causing the "clank" when it opened (it bounced there as well). He suggested installing a mid-door cross support. I asked about the rollers. He showed me they were no longer rolling just sliding in the track. I agreed to replaced the roller with ball bearing roller and with the center support, Zack offered a package of additional $99. Seem ed fair. Zack was done with the job in 45 minutes, lubed all hinges and roller pins, re-tested the spring balance, adjusted the electric opener, cleaned up and presented the bill, honoring all coupons. The door runs SO SMOOTH and QUIET. I should have done this 3 years ago. And with the 2 year warranty and 30K cycle springs, I don't need to visit this again for 25 years! AH

Description of Work: I called Mark this morning and explained the problem I was having with my garage door opener. His son Zach arrived at 11:15 am exactly when he said he would. Zach gave me the options and I chose to have him install a new opener. He did not try to sell me on that idea, he also gave me the repair option.He was friendly, courteous and professional and his knowledge made me feel confident in his advice. He did excellent work and swept the entire garage when he was finished. Description of Work: a spring on my garage door broke, called them about 2pm, was given a price for both reg size and oversizied dorrs, mine was oversized (16') WAS TOLD SOME WOULD BE HERE IN ABOUT 1-2 HOURS, SHOWED UP AT 330PM WAS DONE BY 410PM REPLACED BOTH SPRINGS CHECKED AND TIGHTENED ALL NUTS AND BOLTS IN THE DOOR, LUBED ALL ROLLERS AND THE OVERHEAD TRACK. PRICES WAS STILL $229.00 AS I WAS TOLD, PLUS TAX. TECH WAS VERY OPLITE AND KNOWLEDGABLE., I HAD BEEN TOLD BY OTHER PEOPLE IT WOULD BE BETWEEN 300 AND 500 JUST TO REPLACE THE SPRINGS.

Description of Work: Broken Garage door was replaced. They also lubricated the openers of both of our garage doors, replaced the broken spring and even readjusted the garage door that was working well and repaired the broken light in the old garage openers. They were prompt, courteous and informative. Great service. Highly recommend them.
