[member name removed], when you booked your cleaning appointment you told me that the job entailed a full remodel clean up along with a whole house cleaning. I informed you that the deal you had purchased did not include a construction clean up, and I then told you it could possibly cost an extra fee, not totaling more than $100.00, and suggested you read the "fine print" on any of the deals for purchase it clearly states that additional charges will apply for homes that are excessively dirty or in poor condition. Construction clean up is considered beyond a usual full cleaning work scope. Before we left your home I had you and your wife do a full walk through and you told me you were very happy with our work. I'm wondering what changed from then 10/30/15 until today when you wrote this review. Let me also remind you that I did not charge you a penny extra for this job. I am very glad that I take notes from before and after every job we do so when belated reviews are given I can always look back at the paper work for all the facts of the job. I am sorry that today you decided you were not happy with our work. We would have happily and graciously come back at that time if I had any poor feedback from you. Sincerely, Lisa

Description of Work: I was thrilled by their first clean. They did a a very thorough job. I have not been as pleased with the three subsequent visits. They were not consistent in showing up on time or in calling to see if they could come early. On their last clean there was dust on ceiling fans, top of microwave, and on kitchen cabinets. I probably could worked through these early problems if she had been okay with our two small dogs being in the house while they cleaned. Our dogs are not outside dogs and the heat is just to much at this time of the year. Sadly, I am going to look for another cleaning service.

I am so sorry you were not pleased with our service. We try exceptionally hard to please every one, unfortunately that does not always happen. Appointment times given are always within an hour of arrival. Some times earlier appointment do not take as long or sometimes take a little longer then usual. A call is always made if this is the case. Sometimes we are in the area of the appointment that is affected, therefore there isn't much notice for that persons appointment for time change. Dogs are never an issue unless they are 'happy to see you' jumpers, which is usually only a problem when their parents are home. Dogs are funny creatures and act completely different when they are at home alone without you. We are sad to see you go, and we hope you will find some one to love and respect your home as much as we did, sincerely, Lisa

Description of Work: I had just fired my last house cleaning so I was looking for a recommendation on a new house cleaning service . So I thought, "hey" I will check Angie's List and that's where that I found Lisa Williams aka Affordable Home and Office Cleaning. My daughter was moving into a new house so she tried Lisa first and was really impressed. Professional all the way: Lisa arrived at the house promptly, doesn't do a lot of chit-chat and gets right to work. So I gave her a try next. I should mention that I am referred to as the "Emily Gilmore" of house cleaners. (You have to be a Gilmore Girls fan to get that reference ) Cleaning: She and her helper started at top planter shelves and worked there way down. They cleaned from horn to hoof. It took about 2.5 hours to complete a 1700 sqft ranch house. They cleaned out under cabinets were I kept the trash, she got the bathtub spotless, cleaned all the baseboards and they dusted window sills including the tracks for the windows. They did a lot of things my old housekeeper didn't do. What a joy to find such a thorough and meticulous service! Price: I thought the price was really fair. The cost was a little higher for the first visit (to get things up to snuff) but after that it will reduce down to $80 for bi-weekly service. Yes, I and my daughter are going to continue using Lisa's cleaning service. They will be coming bi-weekly to keep our homes sparkling clean and in tip-top shape.

Description of Work: where to begin! Lisa returned my inquiry promptly, was direct about what she could do and when, called when she said she would, gave me as good an estimate as she could for cleaning, without seeing our house. When I arrived about 30 minutes into her cleaning, she had already cleaned plant shelves, bookshelves, windowsills. The house was a tornado of dust, because it had not been so thoroughly cleaned in a long time. Despite the fact that our previous housekeeper had only left the job two weeks ago and despite the fact that spouse and I do our best to clean. Our home is filled with art, much of it pottery by my artist husband. Lisa must have lifted ever piece and dusted underneath! When I left to to return to work, I knew my house would be beautiful when I returned. It is! While this kind of thorough cleaning is something Lisa does once a year, I love that she knew what had to be done, when right to work doing it, and considered it just part of her "getting to know the house." Everyone wants to think that their house is special and that noone can clean it as well as you could, if only you had the time and energy. Well, what a joy to find such a professional, thorough, and meticulous service!

I was very impressed with her; however, when I called to confirm it she was reluctant to come out as far as I live. When I called her to confirm after a few months later, she had enough work that she couldn't come back that far. She looked energetic and efficient. She looked like a dynamo. I called every of her references, and they all loved her. She gave me a number of references that she worked with for years. When I walked her to her truck, she got my garbage can and rolled it in the garbage can area. She put my trash away. She returned my phone call. She was on time. She is professional. She is upfront, and she use chemicals. She didn't beat around the bush, and I liked that.

Lisa came in with one of her girls and performed a miracle on my house. It has NEVER looked better. I was delighted with the quality of work and the attention to detail they took in everything. I was also pleased because they set aside every little receipt or object that had fallen behind a desk/sofa so I could decide if it was important. I ve had friends that have had important documents thrown out by the cleaning crew. It was a relief to know that I didn t have to watch them or instruct them on anything. They just got to work and cleaned like white lighting. Lisa is an honest, hard-working, Arizona native, and I couldn t be more pleased with her work. She went over my hard wood floor three times because she was not satisfied with the finish. She cleaned the baseboards, the top of door casements (things I regularly forget about) and every nook and cranny in the house. She called me up the next day to see if there was anything that had been missed; I m not sure that is even a possibility. I was charged based on being a regular client, which is less than a one-time clean, but she s only cleaning every 3 weeks. Of course, I m so excited about how great my house looks that I d love to have her in every week. She's a member of the Better Business Bureau and the professional way she handles her business tells me I've found a house keeper for life.
