Mr. Mullen arrived promptly and diagnosed the problems with our washing machine and dishwasher. He stated that he could replace the shaft and shift assembly on our washing machine for $275 but suggested that we might consider purchasing a new washing machine since ours was 6 years old. He told us that our dishwasher's motor was going bad, and said that he would purchase a new dishwasher since ours was an inexpensive model and would not be worth repairing. My wife & I followed his advice and decided to purchase new appliances. He seemed to be very knowledgeable and was very courteous and professional. The $40 fee for his services was very fair. I would definitely call A to Z Appliance repair if I had a problem with any of our other appliances. As an aside, a friend of mine was at our house while Mr. Mullen was there. He was also impressed by him enough that he subsequently used him to repair an appliance in his house.

It was very good. He came out and done another job since then and was real good. He paid him $40 the first time and then he came back again and did another small job for me for another $15 to $20 and had a very reasonable price. I had a good experience with him. His good response time stood out to me and he didn’t try and gouge me; he was fair. It’s just one man and he was great.

After a local power surge, the display on our Samsung side-by-side went blank, though the fridge itself was still functioning. We called Samsung who simply took a report and set up an appointment (days away) with their local service provider. This was on a Saturday, so we didn't expect instant response, but didn't want to wait nearly a week either. We called a few local services to see if we could get an earlier time. A to Z Appliance was one of the services we left a message with, and he promptly called back, explaining that he was at a family gathering and would be unable to come out until Monday. However, he took the time to listen closely to what the problem was, and he was obviously very familiar with the model we had, and within 5 minutes had talked me through resetting the control panel, restoring full functionality. Mr. Mullen saved us the cost of a service call, several days of limited function from our fridge, and much concern. He was professional, competent, and kind. All of our future business will be directed his way, as well as any recommendations friends and family may seek.

What a breath of fresh air!! There is actually someone out there that still cares about what he does and his customers. I went ahead and got 2 different bids from A to Z appliance repair and another place. Hands down, not only was Leonard less expensive but he actually took the time to go into depth of what the problem was. He was on time, professional, personable, and not pushy. He gave me my options and let me choose what direction I wanted to go in. I was very pleasantly surprised with his customer service, I wasn't just a number for that day. From now on he will always be my go to guy for anything that he can repair!! Thanks Leonard, your the best!!

It went really well. The guy was very polite and personable. He explained things well and was even willing to set up a payment plan in the job was too expensive.

Leonard arrived on time, told me in about three minutes what was wrong with my washer. Discussed with me the advisability of repairing or replacing the washer - it is about 12 years old. I decided to have it repaired since I had caused the problem by washing really heavy loads. Leonard was very polite and knowledgeable. Couldn't have been more pleased.

I was extremely pleased with A to Z 's fast response in repairing my dryer. He was very professional, courteous and informative . I also had him check my washing machine for some sqealing issues I had been having, he answered all my questions and gave me a very honest evaluation of the washing machine. We have a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine that we bought from a used appliance store in 2010. Almost from the beginning there were problems with the control panel, but when we tried to contact the store we purchased it from, they were gone. We have been babying this machine along for nearly 3 years. On Saturday, March 23, right before a massive snow storm was due to hit, the control panel went out completely. After pricing new washing machines of this make and model, we decided we were going to have to get a much smaller machine. Before doing this, we decided to get an estimate on fixing the one we had. I called A to Z Appliance on Monday at 2 pm and left a message. Leonard called me back within 15 minutes, got the information about what my machine was doing, and told me he would be out between 3 and 5. He called back several minutes later and got the model number from me. He arrived between 3 and 4, and within 15 minutes had diagnosed the machine. He brought the possible parts that would be needed to fix the machine, and by 4:30 the washer was fixed, there was no mess, and there was even a $20 coupon toward my repair. While here he also checked the tub bearings, as this machine has had lots of problems with this. Leonard was fast, courteous, and economical. We have a washer that is like new for $300. I consider this a great deal for my money. Thanks, Leonard!

Like I said... everything was perfect... in and out within about 90 minutes.

Leonard contacted me within an hour of my on-line request. Although it was not an emergency, he arrived at the location within 24 hours. The problem was that the drain was not working and water stayed in the dishwasher. He charged $40 for the the diagnosis which was then applied to the total fee of replacing the rusted disposal. Everything appeared to be fine. The next morning, water was in the base of the dishwasher again. For no additional charge, Leonard returned, cleaned a plumbing valve from the dishwasher to the drain and waited 3 days before accepting payment so that we would be completely satisfied with his work. I find A to Z Appliance Repair to be reputable and will use this company again.

It was the first time we had used them. They were fast, on time, and did what they would say they would do.
