Provider came out earlier than first expected to measure the walkway and get a sample brick to match. The following week he called to say that the Brick Company (unnamed) could not match the brick sample, so the start of work would have to wait until they made another brick run. A week later, he came by with the brick run and apologized that the run was lighter in color than expected, and if we wanted to continue, anyway. A month after initial contract, we made the first deposit and work began. The guys were very professional, prompt, and fast in their work. They pulled the gravel up and dumped it where we indicated and discovered anomalies in our drip system. We worked out how to re-route the drip system and modify the route of the walkway. Later, there were issues with tree roots, but we worked together and figured out compromises. All in all, things were done well, on-time, and we are very happy with the result.

Robert was extremely patient, available and helpful as he took as much time with us as we needed to talk through and map out our vision for a landscaped yard. He listened to our ideas and then skillfully took what we said and created a plan. He then came to show us his ideas, gave us plenty of time to think about and live with the plan and then came back to hear our thoughts and made adjustments based on our requests. Once the plan was agreed upon Robert had a detailed estimate to us within two days. Once the contract was signed the start date was scheduled right away. On the first day of work Robert introduced us to his crew, making sure that we understood who we could contact both on and off site if we had any questions or concerns. Robert or his representative stopped by the job most days to check on the progress and to see if we had any questions. The workers were very considerate of our yard and our dogs while they were outside. They were polite and neat, cleaning up after themselves and left a tidy workplace each evening. The few times that additional decisions needed to be made during construction, Robert or a crew member made sure that we understood the options and were very helpful when we asked questions to help us make the decisions. The project turned out wonderfully well, we paid exactly what the estimate said and we are terribly pleased with the whole experience.

Very timely with all of the installation.Robert was great at keeping me posted on the scheduling of all the steps of the install. The crew was very professional. Robert returned when the job was done to inspect the work and arranged for the crew to come back out and make adjustments.

Over all, we think it was excellent. They started when they said they would; arrived when they said they would; and did what they said they would. They worked hard and constantly. They finished the job quickly in 5 days even working on a Saturday. All the workers were polite and never intrusive. Except for the machinery, they were a quite bunch! Working with Robert, the owner, was a delight. Very nice, easy and very responsive. His foreman and crew chief were also very nice, polite, and responsive. Our landscaping and the patios look fabulous.

Everything went beautifully. Everyone was very professional, hard working, and took pride in their work. The owner, Robert, was always quick to respond to calls, was always available to answer questions, spent a great deal of time with me helping to pick out the right plants and trees for our planting zone and our personal tastes. He was always available to make suggestions based on more than 20 years of experience, but was also just as readily willing to support our preferences. The foreman, Ivan, was very pleasant to work with during the entire process. Ivan made several suggestions of changes of positioning or location for optimization of view and function that I'm very grateful for. Additionally, Ivan maintained an open line of communication with me ensuring we got everything we wanted. In all, it took about 3 weeks to complete because of the monsoon rains, but at the end of each day, significant progress was recognized which made the wait exciting. So exciting that I've taken tons of pictures during the process and showed them off to friends and neighbors. Our family couldn't be happier with the outcome and I couldn't be more pleased with all of the members of the crew that worked in my yard. removed old paving material, removed old flower beds, removed all rock and debris from old patio area and installed new stone paving. Job was completed in less than a business week. Very professional installation crew. Robert Duran professional and friendly and demonstrated his knowledge and experience in providing the service. Duran carefully explained the procedure and thoroughly answered all questions. Duran introduced the crew and crew supervisor before work began. After project completed, Duran carefully inspected the work and made certain there were no questions or concerns. Totally pleased with the service and the product. Highly recommended.

It went very well. The entire project took about a week. Robert met with us before project started, explained in detail what work was to be performed and gave a timeline. Pricing was itemized and there were no surprises. They were very professional and easy to work with. Supervisor came by daily to check on progress and answer any questions. We got 3 estimates and Robert with Amazing Scapes was the only one that provided us with a written estimate outlining everything we asked for. The other 2 estimates were lower, but weren't as professional. Also, they didn't include everything we discussed which worried us. So, we went with Amazing Scapes. We couldn't have had a better experience and we can't say enough good things about the crew (Favian, Lupe, and Roman) and the owner (Robert). We were having a lot of work done and, as is probably to be expected, we wanted a few additional things done once they got started. They willingly accommodated all our changes (at additional cost of course). And one of the most unusual, impressive things was that they showed up on time each and every day over a 2-week period. The quality of the work is excellent and the professionalism of everyone we dealt with was second to none. Even though it cost a little more than we were expecting, we'd definitely recommend them to anyone who wants pavers.

This company representative got my email address, said he would get back to me with an estimate on 6-26-15. As of 6-30-15, I have not heard from the company. I would not recommend doing business with this company.

The project took 2 days. The paver patio came out awesome! It, literally, has changed the way we live inout house and outdoor space. The crew does meticulous work. The Owner, Robert suggested we add stepping stones around the back of our kiva style fireplace (which they did last year) instead of using the pavers to enclose the entire space. It turned out that it is a more pleasing design. The crew was very polite, and respectful of me and my property. This project was done, because a plan I had proposed for my front yard did not get through the approval process with my HOA in time for the project to begin when I had the crew scheduled. Robert was very good about making the last minute switch to a different project. I have asked them to return in a few months to begin the front yard project.

A fabulous job which improved the looks of both front and back patio. The workers arrived ok time, worked hard. It was apparent they knew their business and did a top notch job. They cleaned up the area each day as best they could. Job finished in the expected time. I would recommend amazing Scapes to anyone in need of landscaping changes. Robert came to the house and arrived promptly at the agreed upon time, an unusual occurrence for a contractor. He spend about a half an hour looking over the problem and suggesting various ways to solve it. The patio is over 900 sq. ft. and the clay (which is no longer used) bricks have been there for about 20 years. He suggested various alternatives for concrete bricks, both in style and color and showed samples, which he had with him, and gave relative cost for each style. A few days later I received a detailed proposal which I found to be both clear, detailed, and fair. Ultimately I decided not to go ahead with the total repaving at this time, but as the clay tiles (which cannot be replaced) begin to deteriorate I will definitely consider using Amazing Scapes.

Were on time, worked steady, were professional. Did excellent work. Finished ahead of schedule. Looks wonderful. We are very happy!

Scheduled several weeks out, Robert confirmed the start date, arrived with the crew and made sure everyone was on the same page. The work progressed in a timely manor and every day the crew cleaned up. It took almost three weeks but the finished result was exactly what we discussed. Will have Robert back in March/April to do the planting.

I requested an appointment through Angie's List, and Robert from Amazing Scapes gave me a call within the hour. He was very professional and courteous. He worked around my schedule and came by to look at my backyard and give me an estimate. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted done (my yard was nothing but dirt). He was extremely helpful, going over options and showing pictures of past work. He helped me come to a decision and wrote up an estimate. The price seemed more than fair for the work being done. I had to be out of town for the next couple weeks (it was over the Christmas holiday), but as soon as I got back, Robert contacted me and we scheduled a day when the work would begin. The crew that did the work was extremely polite, courteous and quiet. They were efficient and quick, but they obviously paid attention to detail. My backyard looks great and is exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Amazing Scapes to anyone who needs landscaping done.

Robert is very customer oriented. He designed the project based on our needs. We added some small things during the project and t hey were able to accommodate. We are very happy with the project.

First is the owner, Robert, keeps you informed and returns calls promptly. He is very punctual and responsive. He uses his dad like a Walmart greeter but he is much more than that. His dad stops by occasionally and checks on things also. He is very pleasant but most importantly he seems reassuring. The crew were prompt and polite also. Ivan was the super and he seemed to be very knowledgeable. I was concerned about what had proven to be a very poorly sloping rear yard causing drainage issues on my new Pulte home. I had numerous estimates and was not happy with how the issue was to be addressed. At first Amazing Scapes was going a similar route but with my dissatisfaction and all of us putting our heads together we found a solution that was better than I expected. The job was done ahead of schedule despite a couple rainy day interruptions. The only reason I gave a B on price is because I got an estimate earlier and then had a later closing on my home by 3 weeks. When I got the second estimate it was $2500 higher. The only addition was the artificial turf and it seemed a bit too much of an increase. Other than that it was identical and Robert did both estimates about a month apart. I did notice that the first estimate was a 3 week wait and the second over 6 weeks so it may have been a simple supply and demand issue. I would use this company again and recommend this company to others. I am pleased with the result.

I was very impressed with this contractor. He came well prepared to answer our questions regarding installation of a new patio and a section of artificial turf for our dogs. He brought samples and was very knowledgeable. He even brought up questions that we had not thought to ask. He promptly provided us an estimate. His work crew was well organized and a supervisor stopped by most days to check on the quality of the work and to answer any questions we might have. One huge plus with this company is that they are very effective communicators. They call when they say they will and their crew shows up when it is scheduled. When weather became a factor and they were not able to work, they called to let us know and to also let us know when the work would be rescheduled. And it was rescheduled promptly. They did an excellent job of installing our new patio and front sidewalk. We also had artificial turf added to bring some "green" into the backyard and for our dogs! The dogs love it and so do we!! I would not hesitate to hire this company again.

Robert came to my house to measure, and give me an estimate of the project while he was there. He had samples of materials with him on the first visit. I interviewed 3 landscape companies, and he gave me the best price. I was impressed by his positive, and kind demeanor. Robert was able to begin my project within 2 weeks. He showed up with the crew the first day, and his "Dad" came to check on the progress a few days later. Robert called me to "check in" twice, and responded to e-mails the same day when I had questions. The project took 1 week plus a few additional hours while the crew worked on perfecting the arch of the kiva. The crew was here on time every day. They were friendly, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Ivan, the crew chief, checked with me several times during the construction of the kiva to make certain it was as I imagined it would look. They did do an Amazing job! The fireplace is beautiful, and these guys worked on it until it was as perfect. They checked, and rechecked placement, level, design, etc. Robert came by as soon as the project was completed for a final walk thru of the project. I can not emphasize enough how pleasant it was to work with this entire crew, and what a beautiful job they produced to make our back yard the oasis we wanted. We plan to have Robert work on future projects.

We contacted half a dozen landscapers and Robert was the first to respond. He came to our home for an estimate and was able to offer us everything we wanted within our budget without going over. He instilled great confidence and his price was more than fair so we didn't even meet with any other companies. His team was able to start the next day and within a week we had the backyard we dreamed of. Robert went with us to the nursery and educated us on each different plant to help us make our decisions. In the future when we redo the front yard we plan to use Amazing Scapes again.

The job was very exhaustive and detail oriented. Work began on June 30, 2014 and was completed on July 25, 2014. The owner of the business was very professional, helpful, accommodating, and engaged in the entire process from start to finish. His vast experience and knowledge were also very apparent. He too, like me, was very detail-oriented and would perform site inspections to ensure the quality of the work was above board. Also, his crew performed excellent work paying attention to every little detail. Features of the landscape and hardscape included a half-wall around a courtyard in the front yard with brick pavers, several species of desert plants, and exterior lighting that accentuates the landscape. The backyard included a water feature, fire pit, brick pavers, and artificial grass with decorative brick boarders and a multitude of desert plants and elevations. The work is not only very beautiful to look at but is very functional. The backyard is also highlighted with exterior lighting. In a word, the backyard is a paradise. It is a retreat from everyday stresses that allows a person to decompress and disconnect from the world. Specifically worth mention is the intricate patterns in which the brick pavers were laid down in both the front and back yard and the many, many custom cuts that needed to be made around all the curves that I had requested. There is also excellent drainage for storm water. We have had compliments on the landscape and we are very pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend this company/contractor for anyone as his work and the results simply impress beyond imagination. In the world of 1 through 5 star ratings, I give this business a 6 without hesitation. I would hire them again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the most impressive landscaping.
