The initial construction was several years ago; now we are commencing with the repairs and upgrades to market the house as we no longer live there. It will not even be necessary for us to travel there as Dave is truth-worthy and will do the project to our satisfaction without our presence!

On may 9th our home was flooded destroying most of the interior of our home. We had only had the house for a year and had never experienced a disaster to this extreme. We had no idea how to handle this until our savior Dave Hayes came along. Dave came in and helped with every aspect of our renovation process. He started by redoing our roof. He added a pitch of 16 inches over 52 feet and replaced all the plywood and roofing material. After he finished the exterior work he began working on the interior. Dave replaced the insulation in our ceilings upgrading us from r11 to r25. He replaced all drywall in the ceiling, retextured and painted the ceilings. He also replaced many of the walls in the house replacing drywall, texture and paint. Dave moved onto both bathrooms which he completely remodeled taking them from psycodelic 70's floral to a modern sleeke design. The master bath was redone with a walkin shower with pink and white marble tile wth a river pebble floor. The old plywood and lynoliam vanity was replaced with an elegant oak and marble double vanity with a linen cabinet. The guest bathroom was done in a classic style of black and white marble with a large garden tub for soaking. The vanity was upgraded to hardwood oak and black granite countertop. The kitchen was the hard part. I hated the placement of the kitchen in my house. My home is a spit floor plan and the only walk through was the kitchen. Dave moved my kitchen from its former location switching the dining room and the kitchen. The new kitchen has over 60 square feet of counter space and includes a breakfast nook and an 8 foot bar. The cabinets are a beautiful maple made from hard wood with dove tail hinges and silent closing doors. The countertops are done with 12 inch granite tiles that where laid in such a way that they look like a solid slab of granite. Over all the work has more then exceeded my expectations. Dave's work ethic and talent has amazed me at every turn. He is by far the best contractor I have ever worked with and I don't believe I would ever go with anyone else. He has brilliant ideas and an amazing eye for detail. His prices are very competitive and reasonable and he is willing to work with you. He has a true compassion for others and this comes through when working with him. I would recomend Dave Hayes for any job.
