countertops
+ -1 moreThe numbers sounded good on the phone and when he measured the kitchen, but practically doubled when he sent me the actual quote. Didn't have him do the work. I found someone else at half the price but I had to micro-manage their work...saved a bundle though.
Description of Work: Granite countertops for an L shaped counter, full backsplash, L shaped island with bar top. ($2600)

+ -1 moreReed was prompt with all his appointments. He was courteous and friendly and very good at providing suggestions on how to do the edges, etc. After we picked out the slab it only took 1 week and he was ready to install the countertops. The installation went smoothly. The workers were careful and precise. They took their time and did an excellent job. The grain in the stone of the counter matches up exactly with the back-splashes and the grout lines around the back-splashes are exact and straight. The seam of the bull-nose edge is invisible. After all the work was done, I asked about sealing and he offered to also seal the new travertine floor and shower tiles. The original estimate was $2260. The second bathroom vanity and the sealing were extra. We removed the larger vanity counter but they removed the small one.
Description of Work: We had a 100'' long travertine vanity counter with two sink holes installed. It also had (3) 4'' back-splashes. We also had a small vanity counter installed with (2) 4'' back-splashes and an under mount sink (which was also installed). All countertops and a new tile floor and shower (installed by another company) were sealed.
