Ever Clear Pool Service responded quickly to my service request and scheduled a convenient time to come out and do the work. James did the work quickly and competently and my new pump is working just fine. James was pleasant to deal with, answered all my questions, and left the pool pump area clean and neat.

James was very responsive & very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this company.

I've had problems in the past with my new pool staying clean and algae free. The pool service I was using had serviced my pool in previous homes and thought that maybe there was a problem with my pool set up, equipment or size. Everclear solved the issue(s). I was really disappointed with this company. To make a long story short, my husband (our usual pool maintainer) is out of the country and I work full time, so I've been struggling to keep our pool and spa from turning green. I traveled for business for a week and came back to my pool looking like the Loch Ness Monster's vacation home. So I was looking for someone to come in and maintain the chlorine levels and scrub it as necessary. I found AJ via Angie's List and decided to give him a call based on the good reviews. I contacted them on a Tuesday for a quote and AJ called me back the same day. He was only able to swing by our place the next morning while I'd be at work, so I had my parents meet him at the house. He called me when he was about 5 minutes out and that was the last I heard from him. The rest of this interaction happened between him and my parents. He took a look at my green pool and spa. Then he took a look at the pump and told my folks he couldn't help. He said the pipes to and from the pump/pool/spa were not marked, and he therefore didn't understand the connections...? My mom told him I didn't need him to even touch the piping; I just needed him to scrub it and dump in some chlorine. According to my dad, he made excuse after excuse about why he couldn't take the job. It seemed like he just didn't want to. I would have appreciated it if he called me back to speak with me about why he didn't take the job. I would have appreciated it if he'd recommended someone else. I didn't feel like my pool was a lost cause- it's just really, really green. And, thanks to AJ, will remain so until I find someone else.

My elderly pool pump motor started making a loud grinding noise. I contacted Everclear Pool Service for a service call. AJ diagnosed a bad motor and replaced it. My pool pump motor is now nice and quiet.

It went great. James was very friendly, remembered my pool from a previous service. Used two of my own new grids to replace bad ones, and patched a third. Pump pressure is way lower now, and all seems to be working well. Very pleased with the work!!

My first call was to have them change the pump as this is what we were told by another company (trying to sell us a pump) and we wanted a second opinion. When I called Everclear they came out and spoke with my husband and he was told that our pump was fine and we just needed a new motor. He made the appt. to come out 2 days later. The guy had the motor replaced in less than an hour he also put some shock in our pool as it was very green at no cost! We were able to get our pool back up and running just in time for the Arizona Heat!! I felt the service was great and they were very honest I will recommend them to others who own a pool!

Owners are great! If they are the ones working on your pool, I would highly recommend. However, if their "trainee" is assigned to your pool (Keith), ask for someone else. He didn't clean the leaf baskets every time, forgot to close the gate (small kids in the neighborhood and we have a dog), and apparently didn't check the chemicals. It took another company three weeks to clear up Mustard Algae!!

James and AJ were very helpful in helping me restore my pool filteration system. They explained my DE filter system leaving me the knowledge to maintain myself. James worked me into their busy schedule very quickly. They didn't push a weekly service but if I have problems they are first on my list to call.

It was fine, it worked after that. they're prompt, they make sure that you'll not have any problems and I trust them. They're willing to keep their price the same.

Went great. Filter works like new. He arrived on time and got everything working. Definitely will use again.

James was able to respond several days earlier than our scheduled appointment, based on my availability. I took advantage of his Angie's List coupon for filter cleaning that saved me about $50 over the charge that Leslie's Pool Service had quoted. James was extremely friendly and cordial, and during the reassembly of my DE filter found that one grid had a hole and broken internal plastic ribs. While he didn't have a replacement with him, he offered to return the following day to replace this grid and complete the work. This was done as promised and when I came home from work, I found that the pool was much, much cleaner than it had been the previous day and the filter pressure was what would be expected with a new or a fully cleaned set of grids. I am extremely happy with the work done, and will call James again as needed for pool repairs.

I have been fighting to get our popups to pop all the way up to clean the bottom of our pool of debris and algae for the last year ever since I replaced my worn old cartridges (6 years old) with new ones. The popups would only come up about 1 inch. My researched indicated the filters were the correct size. To add more mystery, I noticed that when I hosed off the cartridges the popups would come up all the way only for a day or two at most. The pressure would start at 25 PSI and in two days go up to 34 PSI. So I needed a pro to fix this. I called other pool companies before Everclear and none of them really wanted to come out to my house even though they advertised East Valley as a destination. I called Anthony and he answered at the first call. I live in Pinal county west of Gold Canyon. Anthony came out the following day and we discussed the details. He came back with new cartridges and installed them and told me the popups were all working and the pressure was 20 PSI!!!! WOOHOO!!!! He add shock and installed the new leveler. The next day the pool look fantastic! He is now my number one choice for pool diagnosis and repair. His service is excellent. He's very friendly explaining everything in detail, the cause and solution. He went the extra mile, literally, to come to my house. Price for materials was excellent. His service costs were very very reasonable. Anyone who has pool performance issues needs only to call Everclear (Anthony). I will always call him first!

AJ arrived and had it fixed in 15 minutes. While I understood how to fix it, it was a bit challenging as the handle was stuck and I was concerned I would break it.

I called AJ and he immediately checked out the pool equipment and serviced the pool for the 4 weeks we were waiting for closing. We needed a new module for the pop-up cleaners and to fix a small leak. He fixed everything to ensure the pool equipment was in great working condition for the new owner. He also did a great job cleaning the pool every Monday. He was always patient, polite, and attentive when I called him although I know he is a very busy guy. I highly recommend Everclear Pool Service. They do what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it. Excellent customer service. Very professional.

I would highly recommend Everclear to anyone looking for pool service. I got three quotes and they were the most reasonably priced and offered the highest service.....responsive, showed up when they said they would (cant say that about too many pool service companies) and did a great job.....if you need any pool work or service, give them a call!!!!

I received a call back immediately after sending Ever Clear Pool Service an email through Angie's list. We set a date for AJ to come out and look at the pool. AJ called to ensure it was still convenient before he headed our way. He was courteous, energetic and very knowledgeable! Due to the creeping temperatures, we decided to wait until they dropped a bit before beginning the work. He was flexible in setting a "go" time when that happened. I called a few days ahead, he came and set up the drain and came back the next morning with a co-worker to perform all of the work. When he gave me an estimate on the pool, we only saw one rust spot where the re-bar was coming through the plaster. The day they did the work he noted another spot, and repaired it without adding any additional fee!! He came back after the weekend to do the chemical start-up (even though we werent going to be home) and made a separate trip to settle the bill. I cannot say enough about how professional, polite and efficient AJ was. Highly recommend this honest and reputable company!

AJ was very pleasant to deal with, and professional. He worked quickly over a 2-day period. Draining my pool on a Thursday afternoon, completing the work Friday and returning Monday to add the chemicals. He patiently answered the various questions I had about my pool and offered suggestions.

Our previous pool service, which lasted only three months, told me I needed to change the sand in my sand filter. The funny thing is the filter and pool equipment is less than 3 years old. I talked to AJ about the sand and he said typically it is between 8 - 10 years before that happens. I appreciated his honesty.

JAMES WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND FIXED OUR POOL AT A LOW PRICE. The current pool care company we were using to clean our pool on a weekly couldn't properly diagnose a problem we had with the breaker switch getting flipped due to the motor running hot and started recommending some repairs with hefty charges. We called James for a second opinion. He came right out the next day, he was very professional, and he immediately diagnosed the issues (a bad capacitor and a broken seal) and got them fixed. A couple of weeks later another leak popped up at what turned out to be a different location and James came right back out and fixed it for free even though it wasn't related to his previous work. Great service!

What a nice guy! And HONEST!!! I had someone come out about 3 months ago & was told at that time that my sand filter needed to be cleaned & that the sand had to be replaced. I hesitated because it was going to be costly. After finding myself working harder to keep the pool clean, I called Everclear to come out and clean the sand filter. James came out and said that my sand filter DID NOT need to be cleaned - that my pool was not showing the signs that it needed to be done. He found a part that was broken and replaced that, saying that because that part was broken I was not getting the proper suction and that was the reason why my pool was not as clean as it should be. He could've easily told me that I needed to have the filter cleaned and made a few hundred dollars - but - he didn't. Top that off with how nice he is, this company deserves A's in all categories. Don't hesitate to call them.
