Coyote Plumbing partially cleared the drain but got a plumbing snake caught in a pipe when doing so. They were unable to remove the snake and left it there telling me how they lost money on the job. I live out of state and did not realize the issue it was creating at the house - the resident went for over a year not flushing toilet paper and the kitchen sink was still not flowing proper. Finally I was able to travel to the site and started working with Coyote for resolution. I had been told since the beginning that the plumbing snake must be caught on roots that have breached the pipe, or that it is caught on a shifted pipe between house and septic. Reality was they had no idea why the snake was jammed. Coyote Plumbing told me I had to hire another plumbing company with a camera to scope the pipe- which Coyote should have done on their dime in the first place as they were responsible for their snake getting stuck, however they refused to do so putting the burden on me as the customer./me. They said their camera was stolen, I asked why they hadn't got a new one and they said they were expensive. By scoping the pipe we found out that the snake was not outside at all but caught in the wall right above the kitchen sink in the vent, and coming out the clean-out, never even was running out toward the septic. I was prepared to get a video of the tangle (as I had been instructed to do by Coyote) to pin point the location. Good news was that since the snake was only in the wall there was no need to pay for a video. The camera plumber tried to connect to the snake and pull it out but could not and gradually broke the snake as he tried. The bad news is that when I called Coyote back to tell them we located the issue and please send a plumber out that the office staff would not listen to me and treated me as if I didn't know anything - she just kept telling me over and over that I needed that video. I was also told no one could come to the site for two weeks- I had only two days and had been working with the office for a couple weeks letting them know we were coming and that I wanted to work together to solve the issue while I was there. The conversation with the office manager was so frustrating I had to hand the phone to my husband. The office manager, who's name I am intentionally leaving out, proceeded to not listen to my husband either continuing to tell him as well what WE needed to do. After a very heated conversation and cursing a plumber was sent out. We explained the issue to him, he totally got it, and the next day the snake, which had simply dubbled over itself in the wall was removed by their "snake removal expert". During this process I realized that I had asked Coyote to replace a garbage disposal. This is my cousin's place and I have no idea why it was setup for a disposal on a septic but figured if she only used it for stray bits it would be ok to replace. When I got there she explained the disposal didn't work. Well there was NO power source! Coyote installed a new disposal but the plumber didn't tell me there was no wiring to plug it in. I authorized two charges to my Visa and asked each time that I be sent a statement. When I never received statements I called more than once asking for them. It never happened. After all this Coyote reimbursed me $200.00 that I paid the other plumbing company to scope the pipe-they were nice and did not charge for the snake-pulling, and I received one of two itemized statements. I asked again several weeks ago for the second statement but never heard back - my typical experience when asking. Through this process I have been made to feel that since I am out of state I may be easily taken advantage of by this company. This is compounded due to the fact that the resident at the house is mentally ill and cannot speak up for herself or relay information to me well. For instance I had no idea that the snake stuck in the line meant she could not flush toilet paper. I do appreciate that in the end Coyote was ready to dig up the line but my husband finally talked to the owner and explained where the issue was and they sent out their "snake-pulling expert". Wonder where that guy was when the snake first got stuck almost two years ago? I also appreciate how responsive the owner was in the end. Maybe someday I'll get my second statement, an appology for selling me a disposal that plugs into nothing (which I have since had to pay someone else to remove and re-plumb under the sink), or an apology for being treated so poorly by the office manager. The plumbing employees that worked this job, as well as the owner, were nice.

They came out for the project we were thinking about doing, but we changed our mind just due to the expense of the project. It is turning out to be more than what we wanted to handle. They guy was super nice and did not charge us for the call. We started going through what needed to be done properly and it turned out to be more than what we could handle. He left and was very polite. I would recommend Coyote Plumbing just for the professionalism of the company.
Description of Work: We contacted Coyote Plumbing because I had used them in the past. He was giving us an estimate of what we wanted done. We were thinking about enlarging our laundry room into the garage and we had to have some plumbing moved.

Great! Now I've had two great guys who DIDN'T say "it can't be done". They just DID it.
Description of Work: Faucets in both baths had been leaking for some time. The first plumber I called said he would have to go into the wall to replace the pipes, and he was concerned that the pipe could break off because of the lime deposits. He left. The second plumber I called did several small non-critical jobs that I had requested, though I also requested fixing the bathroom leaks. (By this time I had discovered that the shower curtain had been hiding the damage being done to the wall next to the shower. When he started to leave I asked him about fixing the shower leaks. He just said "It can't be done", and kept walking out the door. The third plumber I called was Coyote. Cory came a few minutes early(!), looked at both showers and said he didn't need to go into the wall at all. It just needs new faucets and knobs. There's a little part inside that gets corroded after awhile, so it's a matter of replacing them. (I didn't rate him on punctuality, because he had no control over the company where he had to order the matching faucets & knobs, which took several days. Once the parts came in, he was right there, and finished the job in just over an hour. It's working great, solved the problem. Now I just have to call The Drywall Guy" again to fix the part of the wall that has water damage.

Very well--fixed all three of my showers and ensured my bathrooms were all operational and had good water pressure. Repaired the shower handles in all as the hard water has made them difficult to turn on.
Description of Work: Coyote technicians provide a great service. Back office is not organized however and took almost a month of follow up calls to get service complete. We have used them before and will use them again. Please fix coupons for Angie's list! We live in Florida and have a rental in Arizona. Did not make it easy to use the coupon and Coyote

Everything was fine but the technician told me that my garbage disposal was bad. He then told me it was cracked which it wasn't, I was frustrated with the pressure of him trying to up sale me. He finally reinstalled it and it works fine. The plumber that came wasn't to the caliber of ones in the past, I would possibly use them again but request a different technician. I noticed a few leaks after wards and I had to go down and tighten things up. I was billed for two hours even though he wasn't there that long.

They did a great job at the time. Over time the water began coming back up and water was backing up into my dishwasher. I needed to get this repaired again. I have reached out to the company numerous times with only promises that they would send out a technician to look at the issue. They have never sent anyone back out to repair the issue.

Coyote Plumbing did a fine job. The plumber replaced some old worn out parts. The toilet is as good as new. I would recommend Coyote Plumbing to anyone. Just some problems with communication. We called the office on Friday and were told an appointment would be made the following Monday. We did not receive a call back so we made a second call and a plumber was scheduled for that Wednesday.
