My family and I are renting a home that had never been professionally cleaning - not even before our official move-in in 2010 so as you can imagine, this home was in need of a little TLC -
I had hired a cleaning company prior to hiring All Honesty Cleaning on 10/22/12 - This company did not clean my home as they said they would so I began looking for another cleaning company. I came across All Honesty Cleaning and called Amanda Smith the and quot;honest ownerand quot; and explained my situation/experience with the prior cleaning company. Amanda stated how disappointed she was with my previous experience with this other company and over the phone seemed to truly care that I was taken advantage which I felt at the time was genuine. I immediately hired All Honesty Cleaning to come to my home on 10/29/2012, I unfortunately was unable to be there while Amanda was cleaning but assumed she was more than capable to do the job.
Amanda was to be at my home around 10am - I received a text message at 10:43am stating she had a flat tire. At 12:09pm, I received a call that she was lost on the wrong side of town and explained she was in Scottsdale (I live in Surprise). I was completely understanding and simply stated and quot;no problemand quot; which it wasn't a big deal for me. She finally arrived to my house at 12:50pm, I gave her directions on a few things and she even took pictures of the previous cleaning companies lack of work and called me to inform me that the previous company definitely did not perform the duties they said they would and that she would take care of it but had to charge me the full deep cleaning price ($75 per 1000 sq. ft.) I said okay, I understand, no problem and thank you SOOO much for doing this.
My husband and I both arrived home around 6:30pm as Amanda was wrapping things up to go home, the house had a nice smell to it and with the dim lighting in the home the overall appearance looked great. She asked if we wanted to take a look around which we only looked at the downstairs bathroom (at a quick glance) and then got caught up talking - We needed to get going for our sons baseball game so I hurried to write a check and said our good-bye's and thank-you's, have a great evening!!
I went upstairs to change out of my work clothes and that's when I began to notice that things that NEVER got cleaned. Once I saw this, I went through the entire house, top to bottom and there were MULTIPLE things that and quot; All Honestyand quot; did not clean - EVER, AT ALL, PERIOD!!!
I was very upset as she was 100% aware of what happened previously and for her to turn around and take advantage of me was just shocking. I had my husband call her that evening to inform her of our findings and disatisfaction. Her initial response to the lack of dusting in our master bedroom was and quot;well that's normal to see a light layer of dust in a dusty homeand quot; - My husband immediately explained to her that we know the difference between clean and not clean and when we can brush our hand across a piece of furniture and have a thick layer of dust on our hand and an obvious swipe mark that it was not cleaned. She then explained that she would come back to our home and correct the issue and asked us to send her a list of the things she missed. I emailed her on 11/04/2012 with a list of things we were not satisfied with and still have yet to hear from her!!!
This is the email I sent on 11/04/2012:
Good morning Amanda,
As you are aware from the previous conversation my husband Chris had with you the evening of the 29th, we noticed several things that had not been cleaned that day. When Chris explained there was furniture in our home that hadn’t been dusted, you’re comment was “that happens when it’s a dusty house” implying that you had cleaned and this was residual dust or a new layer of dust settling.
Amanda, you knew what happened with the previous cleaning company that came to our home the week prior. What drew me to hire you for this job was your concern and empathy for our situation. You explained how your company’s name “All Honesty” was something you were proud of and what your company was all about and yet, you are okay making excuses or untrue statements on things that you and I both know did not get done. Looking back at our first conversation, I was appalled to hear the comments/excuses you made. My husband and I own a construction company, you know this, we would never lie to a customer, make up half truths or whatever because we have integrity about our company and what we want to be known for and this is a perfect example why we actually operate the way we do. Dishonesty get’s nowhere and more often than not comes back to bite you in the rear. With that said, it’s okay to hold yourself accountable, my husband and I are not idiots, we know when something is cleaned and when it isn’t, we can tell when things are spot cleaned and when they are cleaned thoroughly. When you tell us things that do not add up or are obvious lies, that only makes us upset to know people think we are fools to believe such things. Moving forward, I expect ALL HONESTY…if you missed something, just say so, if you didn’t get to it tell us, but PLEASE do not lie, mislead, misguide, etc. because that only makes you and your company’s name look foolish!
You told my husband that you would be willing to come back to our home to correct the issue, here is a list of things that did NOT get done:

Response from All Honesty Cleaning
"Let me start off by saying that this was an emergence call. The client needed someone to come on the weekend. I was not available on the day she called so I moved one of my regular clients to help her. The expectations were unrealistic. The service was more than fair of the rate the client was charged. Normal rate was as she explained, however, that is for a home that has been maintained. The home had been rented in 2010 and look as though it had never been maintained at all. I cleaned animal urine and feces off the floor and walls for half an hour, the animal also had no drinking water. When brought to the owners attrition was advised that the animal would drink from the toilet. The dirty toilet! The level of dust in the home was so bad no matter how long I tried the dust was still in the air and was settling in the house. If you live in Arizona you know if you neglect the dust in your home it takes more than one day to get it clean. As I was finishing up down stairs the children came home unattended and proceeded to make themselves something to ear, so the mess on the counter came from the children. I offered to come back to do more work at no cost to tem, I could not come right back to fix it as he had waited until I was 60 miles away. The husband said he would talk to the wife and call me back. They never did call me back. I did offer to make it right. In the end I feel like I was the one who was taken advantage of. The home was not as they said it was over the phone. I did give them a discount because of the other company they said took their money and never returned."

Her name is Amanda and I would recommend her. She does a really good job. She's really thorough and she's always punctual. She arrives when she says she's going to come, and so she's on time. If she's running even a minute late, she calls and lets me know. She charges about per square foot and so it's different every time.

Amanda and her team completely live up to the name of the company. I've been having All Honesty clean my home for the past couple of months and am VERY pleased with the results. They are always on time and ready to go to work. They are very thorough and efficient -- and they pay attention to the little details. I feel the pricing is reasonable considering everything they do while they are here -- not to mention the peace of mind I get from knowing the work is done and done well! :)
