+ -1 moreThe fiberglass door was dented after they stained it (it was NOT a factory stain). They called up the factory representative to look at the door. They did NOT make an appointment so I could be there at the meeting. The mahogany stain is pink and applied incorrectly. (Per subsequent contractor/painters). They offered me $150 to redo a stain job they charged me $628,76 to do the first time. It now looks like the door will need to be painted!! Nothing has been offered to compensate for the dented door.
Description of Work: Provided, stained, and installed a new front door. (3'6" wide by 8ft. tall with a 3/4 light)

+ 0 moreThe door was mahogany gel stained incorrectly (per other licensed painters that have looked at it.) The only thing that might be possible now to correct it is to "paint" the door. The door is definitely "pink" in the sun. Door and Window Store offered me $150 to correct the $628.76 stain job. The Trim Connection also dented the door. I can tell they did it because the dent happened AFTER the staining. They "touched up" the dent. The manufacturer (per Door and Window store) says a fiberglass door cannot "dent." Hummmmmm? I do not know what they call that "dip" in the door if not a "dent."
Description of Work: Stained a new fiberglass front door which was purchased from Door And Window Store Prescott, Arizona. Door & Window Store hired them.
