I had them out for an estimate. The electrician proceeded to change a breaker before telling me how much it was. It ended up being an exorbitant amount for 1 breaker which I am now struggling to pay. Good work just let me decided if I want to pay that much and if I want to hire them to do it. I feel stuck and put upon by S&M Electric.

Nice men, they even put shoe protector's on before entering your home. My work is not done at my home, they had an emergency call, so they where only here for a short time, I am waiting on a call back as to when they will be finishing up the job. The older of the two men, he is very knowledgeable of his job, and a great personality, I think he is teaching the younger guy! The cost is much more than I thought it would be, but as long as it gets done, and it a good time frame, I will be happy. This page is wanting me to rate the quality and value, which is hard to rate when there is still much to do! I rated it low, only because of it not being done, I will hopefully rate better when I have all the stuff done. The projects where done, I've had them come over more than once, because I also had other stuff that needed to be done. I absolutely love there work, they are so sweet & come so quick when ever I have hired them. I recommend them highly!

Professional and good value.

Very professional workers,wore boot covers while in the house removed them when going outside. Everything was explained and price prior to work being done. My smoke detectors were priced and installed on the same day.Thanks Don and S&M.

Responded to my inquiry 10 minutes after I sent it. Arrived on time the next day; wore booties in my home to avoid tracking in any dirt. Job was done professionally and courteously. I would definitely hire them again.

The install involved some insulation falling to the floor. He was very careful to clean up and always wore paper boots in the house. I thought the price was fair.

Installed two fans with light kits. Cleaned up after the job was completed.

They completely re-wired the service for my house from the meter to the residence, installed correct new panel, labeled the breakers, installed smoke detectors. Although they were a little more expensive than an independent contractor I contacted, I went with their company because they were licensed and insured. They had to make numerous trips to be able to complete the project, and were very understanding when the check actually did get lost in the mail. Their work and work ethic was perfect. Would hire them again if I ever needed electrical work done.

He obtained the permit and installed a new 200 amp. circuit. Also put in a wall plug and additional wiring.

The cost of our project was a little pricey, but all contractors in our area charge more than other places, in my experience. They did very good work, and all of the work was completed in a timely manner. It was a somewhat difficult job because it required going into the attic, which in our hot weather is a very difficult job. It might be part of the higher cost for the project. Overall, we are very happy with what was done.
