These guys quickly contacted me after I completed the "home advisor" request for service. They took care of our urgent need, on a Sunday, as an emergency. Their cost was reasonable. I appreciated their genial and professional behavior. They also made arrangements with the inspector for the next morning. In short, everyone at S&M did their best to ensure we received power as fast as possible. I will use them again.

Normally,when the repair person comes out and eventually you accept their estimate,you should not be charged service and coming out charge. Which I did not pay.

They had to leave and go find the parts and they did that very pleasantly and were quick and extremely efficient.

OMG These guys are awesome! I got an estimate that was detailed to the work to be done and didn't go over the amount quoted on the estimate. When they did a safety check they made aware to me what needed to be made safe with a written estimate that was complete and concise. I am very impressed with them! I will be hiring them to do other jobs as they are needed.

Prompt response, courteous, conscientious and friendly. My assigned electrition explained numerous issues with my smoke detectors. He did a safety check of all outlets, replaced the batteries and cleaned the alarms if dusty. Al was included in the service call. Other quotes for this work was twice the service call. S & M offered pricing plans too. I still have to do research but I thought the mark up in their dual sensor alarms was very high. They wore booties in the house and vaccuumed up any mess. They provided a detailed report on work done and work to consider being done. I have used S& M a handful of times. Always one of the first to respond to my work request. For the most part reasonably priced.

We had additional lighting and electrical outlets installed in our garage. The installers were on time and the workmanship is outstanding. The garage was cleaner after they left than when they started.

When asking for a price estimate, S&M (office) should give the whole estimate, not just the service call fee.

This company uses a price book that determines what you will pay. That is good for the company but not for the customer. Every nut and bolt are charged by the book. They also want you to use them for scheduled maintenance that guarantees them work, but you may not need it. They therefore are expensive.
