They were very honest about it. We told them to forget it and bought new instead of fixing it. They wanted something like $300 to fix it. I didn’t want to spend $300 on something that was right up against its life expectancy.

First purchase was the washer/dryer. We were sold front load units. On arrival at our house, we learned they did not fit the standard space. They were much deeper and would not work. Would you not think this might be mentioned by the salesman? We re-ordered other units. They arrived and were installed by QM installers. The next morning, we found a flood caused by the new hoses not being tightened at the washing machine. This flood destroyed the floor in the family room. When I discovered it, I simply tightened it and the slow but steady flow of water stopped. I went in to speak with the owner, and was simply not believed. He tried to blame the plumber - who had been there the day BEFORE the install to assure our valves were working fine. We had decided to replace the entire floor as part of a larger remodel so we let the matter drop. However, the attitude - not believing me, the posture that they could not possibly have caused the flood, and blaming the plumber - inexcusable. I should have learned my lesson at that point, but I wanted to by local in Prescott. The second part of the purchase was for the kitchen. The range was a gas Jenn-Air -a downdraft requiring venting to the outside. I specifically told the salesman that I wanted a full install - turnkey including venting. He assured me that would be accomplished for $200. When the range was delivered, the outside vent cap, an integral part of the system, was missing. I told the delivery person that it was missing and he told me it was not included! I assured him it was as it is always part of a Jenn-Air system. He actually argued with me! He finally called the office and they finally agreed that it was included. On the day of the Jenn-Air install, the first thing the installer said was and quot;There is no hole - we don't do carpentry.and quot; What happened to the turnkey install with venting!? And there was attitude in abundance. We were also told and quot;We don't go under housesand quot;. This after explicitly explaining to the salesman that a crawlspace vent would be most likely required. Finally, after their departure we discovered that they had walked away with one of my tools from the work being done in the kitchen. This business does not realize it is the customer who keeps them in business. Perhaps they believe there are plenty more.

I would recommend them.

After 92 days (exactly) the ice maker stopped working - buried in the fine print on the receipt, the new unit had only a 90-day warranty. QM wouldn't meet us partway on this - they wanted full price on a new unit and the service call. This was the final straw with QM after several less than satisfactory visits under their extended warranty about our Maytag washing machine, which has a design flaw that traps soap scum/dirty water around the top and smells like mildew. They eventually refused to come out under warranty to clean the washer, claiming since it still ran, there was no problem.

Very well. The repair person listened to the noise in the dryer, opened the machine, showed me the defective wheel next to a replacement, replaced it, tested the machine (no noise), and was gone in less than 30 minutes. The dryer has worked nmoiselessly since then.

I called them and explained that Blanche wanted a dishwasher but she had never had one in her mobile home. They came out, were running a little late so they called and told her. They looked at the place for the dishwasher, told her what size, etc. would fit there. She purchased the dishwasher from them and they came out, on time, and installed it and it looks great. They didn't try to sell her a complicated one which would have had her all confused and did spend time showing her how to use one as she had never had one before. She is very happy with her dishwasher.

I called Quality Maytag early in the morning; they scheduled a repair visit for that same afternoon. The repairman arrived at 12:00P, diagnosed the refrigerator problem in two minutes, replaced the faulty circulating fan, cleaned the refrigerator and the working area, received payment and left within forty minutes. The refrigerator was back to the correct temperature within one hour. The repairman was clean, fast and professional.
