+ -1 moreWhen it comes to working with buyers AND sellers, this agent has a lot to learn?We spent in excess of $2000 on travel and inspections to have our dream house purchase fall through as a result of what was probably less than $500 to repair what was originally listed as one of the home's assets?the whole transaction was in excess of $500K!
Description of Work: Prescott Realty- Lorinda Johnson, was seller's agent for a property we had loved and offered to buy which the seller's accepted. The seller's listing indicated that the property was gaited, however, the gait did not function so we requested the seller repair the gate prior to closing of escrow. Ms Johnson quickly responded to our request informing us "at the price point that the (Buyers) are paying for the home that they (the Sellers) will be doing minimal to no repairs"…in other words the listing assets was false and the purchase price negotiated turned into an "As is" purchase price.
