+ -1 moreNot satisfied with the diagnosis, I called another company. Technician did not find anything wrong with the compressor. He refilled the freon for $161 and the system has been working fine ever since.
Description of Work: checked the system and said that the compressor had to be replaced. Since the system is 15 years old and not manufactured anymore, a replacement had to be brought from Utah, and my tenant would be without AC for a couple of weeks.

+ -1 moreThey were very fine. He came during the storm. We worked together on it and it worked out just fine. We would definitely use them in the future.
Description of Work: We used Prescott Heating & Cooling because our furnace had quit working after a big snowstorm because water had come down the chimney. They cleaned and dried it up and got it started again.

+ -1 moreI called Prescott Heating and Cooling. Gary Falk came on time, inspected the system and gave me his opinion. The system works fine, but the size of the house seems to be the problem to make the A/C be more efficient.
Description of Work: I own a small cottage, the new tenant thought that the A/C was not cooling enough.
