He took the time to summarize what he had done each day and what he was going to do the following day. He answered all our questions. We were impressed with the amount of prep work done prior to the actual painting. I would not hesitate to utilize Pinon Painting in the future.

+ -1 moreIt all went well except that we didn't like the color of the trim, that we had selected, after it was applied. we had them apply a different color which was a better match to the siding color. They charged us $500 extra for the change which seemed a bit high.

+ 0 moreThey are great. I would never go to anybody else. The workers were great, they cleaned up after themselves, and everything that they do is excellent. I would recommend them and anytime I need anything, I would use them. They don't do anything wrong, they do everything right.
Description of Work: We used Pinon for painting. They last did some touch up painting because we were having a guest over. They repainted some outside work that needed repainting, and they did some inside work that needed repainting, and we had some new construction on a deck, and they painted that.

+ 0 moreOur house is set on a very steep lot in the mountains. It is 4 levels high, with difficult access on one side requiring the use of a 45 foot ladder. The workers sanded the trim and patched where needed and replaced several pieces of trim that were beyond repair. They then primed and painted all the trim. They were very professional, cleaned up after themselves each day, and finished the job on time. We had a minor problem on the front door several months after the job was completed. Mike, the crew leader, came out and repaired the problem, and Jimmy, the owner, came out the next day to check the work. Jimmy will tell you right up front that they're not the cheapest painters in town, but they did an excellent job for us and we will definitely use them again. You get what you pay for.

They showed up on schedule, did a professional job scraping and repainting all the damaged areas, competed the work quickly. I am very pleased with the results and the price.

Description of Work: I arranged a time with their office and left all my contact information, including cell phone number. I had only limited time during my lunch hour to meet with Pinon Painting, but he arrived ~25 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. He made no apologies and said that sometimes he just ran late. I can appreciate that, but a simple gesture like a phone call to let me know would have been appreciated. We ended up going with another person in town who was exactly on time for the estimate and was much more personable. His quote was over $400 less than Pinon, and the work was completed professionally and expediently. The company we used was Pauley's Professional Painting Service (somehow not listed in the Angie's List painting category). Pinon Painting came with many good references, but somehow with us it just didn't work out. I can't attest to the quality of the work since we didn't use him.

He was excellent in terms of responsiveness and was very responsive. He was just excellent in terms of professionalism.
Description of Work: I use the services of Pinon Painting LLC. I have a contract with Pinon Painting and they might start painting next week depending on the weather. I have to get approval, which I am waiting for today from my homeowners association. That is why I have not used his services yet. However, he will be doing it. The last time he came out to provide a quote was probably last month.
