Terrible!!

No work performed.

Fergal Moloney came out and looked over our exterior second floor decks one of which is open to the elements and the other is covered. After listening to our desires he made several recommendations. The deck boards on the covered deck were in good shape and he recommended that we don't spend unnecessary money to remove and replace them that they would just need a good sanding and painting. As for the open deck we discussed both replacing the boards with wood and again painting them and also using Evergrain Composite Deck Boards which could be purchased in the single length boards for the deck. Fergal gave us two estimates, one for using Redwood Deck Boards and the other for the Composite boards. The total costs with labor was only a difference of $400. Fergal and one assistant removed all the existing deck boards (most of which were quite rotten and week in spots). Checked the conditions of all jousts and then spent two days installing the new deck boards as well as installing a new top rail on both decks with composite boards which made both rails much stronger. They were punctual each day, cleaned up everything including sweeping the kitchen floor when they left. We originally were looking at getting three estimates for this job, but after talking with Fergal, listening to his suggestions, as well as suggestions on not wasting money unnecessarily we went with his quote. We are pleased with his work and have already talked with him on a couple of more projects in our new home. We will be happy to provide a reference for him for any reconstruction project.

Had Fergal out to our home 2 times getting it ready for resale.He repaired a leaking window that needed replastering and painting!This took 2 days as the plastering needed to dry before painting.Then he was out another time to repair a cracked ceiling from faulty installation of drywall plus had to paint.He also fixed a thresh hold at front door plus recaulked a bathroom for us!We are so impressed with Fergal as a and quot;remodelerand quot;--repair manand quot; AND as a person.He is professional,friendly,honest,and trust worthy.Can't say enough nice things about him.When we thought we were moving into another home that needed remodeling we wanted him to move with us to do the job.Fortunately for him our house deal fell thru-----meaning we were going to move out of state!

It went very well overall. Fergal and his guys are great to work with. They are always here when they say they will be; always polite and hard-working and always do a great job. This is the second project they have done for us. Both turned out beautifully.

They built a railing on the back deck. They did some works on the wood around the chimney. They replaced stairs on two locations. They did a lot. I would give them an "A+". I would use them in the future.

The work was started on the day promised. It took a day longer than Fergal expected, but that was primarily because of the unexpected customization they had to do for their excellent professional installation of the pre-made items. They did more than I bargained for, but did not charge more than the quote I was given prior to commencement of the work. I have already asked for a quote for additional work. Fergal, Doug, and Todd were each personable and pleasant to have around (the work took 4 days). Fergal, especially, is a very friendly guy, and fun to work with. My wife and I are very pleased with the work, and the whole experience. We highly recommend Moloney Construction.
